Who’s Really To Blame For The Arizona Shootings? Obama And The Dems

Let’s go back in the time machine, shall we, all the way to February 2009

The Obama administration will seek to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 during the Bush administration, Attorney General Eric Holder said today.

“As President Obama indicated during the campaign, there are just a few gun-related changes that we would like to make, and among them would be to reinstitute the ban on the sale of assault weapons,” Holder told reporters.

Yet, with a clear majority in the House and Senate, Obama and the Dems failed to pass even bring up a re-authorization of the assault weapons ban, which would have banned the extended-capacity clips Loghner used.

And let’s not forget that “H.R. 45: Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 (Introduced in House)” in January 2009 went axactly….nowhere, with only a few Dems even signing on. Actually, make that 1, Donna Christensen (Democrat, and non-voting delegate from the Virgin Islands), to go with Bobby Rush (D-Il), who submitted the legislation.

So, obviously it is the fault of President Obama, Eric Holder, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all the Congressional Democrats. And their leftist base, for not pushing them to pass the legislation.

See how easy it is to place blame, liberals?

  1. REG in AZ says:

Here we go again with Sarah Palin. Who ever doubted that her mouth would get her in trouble as she always says just whatever she feels will benefit and justify her, without any conscience or civility. Take the current example where she says she deserves no blame for exciting emotions and inciting actions yet she quickly takes credit for doing just that when anyone she supported is elected. Then consider if a student had posted a class picture with bullseye targets over other students, just how fast they would be criticized, investigated and likely even arrested. No, her words and actions constantly prove she wants a double standard to apply for her, where she is given credit and no blame, where she does whatever to get attention and isn’t held to be responsible. She didn’t pull the trigger and we don’t know what pushed the sick individual over the edge, that allowed him to feel his contemptible actions would be what was needed and be a credit to him, but we do know she has no conscience and she is totally self-focused, that is very obvious.

We may ask why she is even supported, why she is being sold and groomed by some powerful and influential backers. Actually we saw basically the same actions with several mid-term candidates, where they were chosen for their ability to get attention, to excite people and to then be “puppets” to perform as directed rather then their having any real qualifications. Sarah Palin actually has much the same personality as George W Bush, an arrogant, bold, self-focused, stubborn, sociopathic personality, without conscience, never feeling guilt and always aggressive, which, when they are given the attention and personal gain they desire, lets them willingly do as directed, without any hesitation or reservation, and makes them perfect “puppets”. Simply said, those who strongly support her hide behind the disguise of “ultra conservatism” while in reality they just want a return to “more of the same” (Bush-Cheney style) that greatly benefited the few and cost the majority drastically.

  2. Reg, you realize this post has nothing to do with Palin, right? Not to mention that the Daily Kos, the DCC, and the DLC had the same type of targeting maps, right?

Nice use of the talking points, though.

  3. John Ryan says:

You need a SUPER majority to pass the senate because of cloture AND the GOP threatened more filibusters since they lost power in 2006 than was ever done before.

  4. But the Dems didn’t really even try, though, John. Carolyn McCarthy introduced it in 2007, it had 60 cosponsors, and Nancy never come up for a vote.

Regardless, John, the Dems had control, and didn’t get it done. So, they are to blame for what happened in Arizona. Period.

(You do get what I doing, right? Placing false blame, just like you lefties have done to Palin and Conservatives. Loughner is the person solely at fault in Reality Land)

  5. LBranson says:

I have watched this spin out of control as the left…looking for anything after the shellacking they took in November to push back against the GOP…have tried in vain to once again go on the ALINSKY BANDWAGON.

The problem is everyone understands their strategy now. It doesnt work and in fact it has become an anchor around their necks now as the Mainstream American public have slowly caught on to what they are doing.

Sarah Palin suddenly became the ALINSKY….DEMONIZE…ISOLATE and CUT OFF target of the left.

They just cant let it go and the more they do this the more those people that they try to demonize gain power, prestige and resources to fight back.

  6. Kevin says:

LBranson, I’ve heard people on both sides spin this out of control. There are times to put politics aside, and I think this is one of those times.

On an unrelated note, thank you President Obama for being the first person, that I know of, in leadership to focus on the victims and not the perpetrator. I’ve been looking for information on the victims, but news agencies didn’t do their job and we know relatively nothing about some of the victims, yet, we know everything about this psychopath.
