Guess Which Countries Get To Review U.S. Human Rights Record?

Well, this sucks

Scores of countries, more than half of them in the developing world, are lining up to take part in the first U.N. Human Rights Council assessment of the United States’ human rights record.

A limited number of speakers can be accommodated during Friday’s three-hour “universal periodic review” (UPR) session in Geneva, and a copy of the list obtained by CNSNews on Thursday is topped by Cuba, Venezuela and Iran.

Others high up on the list of 83 countries include Russia, North Korea, Egypt, China and Libya, all countries that are regularly criticized by the U.S. – and by human rights advocacy groups around the world – for poor human rights records.

Good job, President Chump. You’ve just given wackjob countries with horrific human rights records to vilify the United States on the world stage.

Why do you racistly hate other countries, Teach? I mean, sure, some of them (N.Korea) put their people in concentration camps, others chop off hands, stone women(Iran), attack Christians(Iraq, Egypt), treat women much the same as cattle (OIC x 52), drive their populace into poverty (Cuba) etc.

But other than those things, why? It’s racist!

Do you want to wager that the US will be found guilty and asked to pay a fine? And that the head fool with pay the fine.

However, I am beginning to be concerned as the more I look at our country, the less I am inclined to think we are really free. In fact, I think it is beginning to get pretty bad. Maybe someone got the message Tuesday.

David, I agree on both parts.

However, thankfully, we will have Repubs in charge of the pocketbook this time to tell Obama “go to hell” when he wants to pay the UN.

There is no fine associated with the UN Human Rights Council.

  5. They don’t want to show up on my door step. I will simply start landing blows about the head and shoulders. No quarter. Anyone from the UN is subject to this. I do not recognize it as a legal entity, therefore the employees of the UN are lower than whale shit. Just like the CinC.

Hat’s off to you and your service for this country sir. Thanks a ton from a slob who couldnt make it 2 days doing what you guys do.

Also, amen. … “whale shit”.. lol

What are we doing this for? What possible violations could they have in mind? (AZ? If this is all they got, they are even bigger wastes of dung than I thought)
Why should we apologize for anything- we have done nothing but fight for human rights here and in other countries!
Since China, and Cuba and the Middle East etc violate human rights on a regular basis, we shouldn’t give them a second of our time!
Oh wait, liberals and our dear president agree with the UN!
    Make it stooooooooooooooooooooooooop!
