Good News: Climahysteric Jane Fonda Pimps Tracksuits For Bat Soup Virus And Hotcoldwetdry Relief

Isn’t she awesome?

Jane Fonda Is Making Tracksuits for COVID-19 Relief

Like many who are in self-isolation right now, actress Jane Fonda is delving into the world of comfortable outfits. Today, she modeled a heather gray tracksuit in the corner of her living room with a fresh lacquer of red lipstick. (She was also petting a puppy.) The set featured a rainbow jersey stripe with “Fonda” printed down the sides. But it’s no ordinary sweatsuit. They’re currently for sale and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to benefit Fire Drill Friday, Fonda’s cause that urges politicians to pay attention to climate change, and One Fair Wage, which advocates for full minimum wage for workers. “Each purchase will help the fight against climate change and provide assistance to our service industry and tipped workers affected by COVID-19,” she wrote in the caption. Fonda had initially shown off the sweats a week ago, but then she referred to them as “my Jane Fonda sweats.” After a flurry of positive comments, including one that read “not to be a capitalist but……do you sell these????”, Fonda decided to make them for sale. The decision to sell the sets comes after Fonda noted in November that her red coat would be the last item of clothing she’d purchase.

This isn’t the first time Fonda has used fashion to make a political statement. She has long been wearing the aforementioned bright red coat to her Fire Drill Friday demonstrations on Capitol Hill, where she’s been arrested multiple times. She’s also Instagrammed herself in red socks with climate activist Greta Thunberg’s face, noting that people should react towards climate change the way they are reacting towards COVID-19. Speaking of the COVID-19 crisis, last month Fonda wore a red Working America bandana around her mouth and wrote: “@CDCgov @kamalaharris @speakerpelosi this is NOT personal protective equipment. Bandanas and scarves provide almost NO effective protection when #COVID19 patients are highly contagious.#ProtectNurses and save lives: strengthen PPE guidelines for frontline health care workers NOW!”

In other words, not only has she hijacked St. Greta’s Friday’s For The Future movement with her own Fire Drill Friday (taking long fossil fueled trips), she’s now trying to makes some cash off of it, and using Bat Soup Virus to sell even more.

As far as 100% of the net proceeds, that word “net” is the caveat. How much will she skim off? Funny how the climate cultists always scream for Modern Socialism, but not for their own lives.

San Diego Residents To See A $21.11 Rebate On Energy Bills From California’s Carbon Scheme

Well, hey, maybe all us skeptics were wrong about losing money from carbon schemes

SDG&E customers to get $21.11 climate credit on April bill

San Diego Gas & Electric customers will see a credit on their April bill due to California’s fight against climate change.

SDG&E says a $21.11 California Climate Credit will appear on residential customers’ bills, and the credit will be automatically added to their monthly statement.

According to SDGE, the credit “is from a state program that requires power plants, natural gas providers, and other large industries that emit greenhouse gases to buy carbon pollution permits. The credit on the bill is the customers’ share of the payments from the State’s program.”

The utility says the credit “comes at an ideal time when many are staying home due to the coronavirus pandemic and may be using more energy than normal.”

Um, just one problem

Between 2016 and 2017, California’s electricity prices rose three times more than they did in the rest of the United States, according to a new analysis by Environmental Progress.

The increases came despite 2017 having had the highest output of hydroelectricity — the state’s cheapest source of electricity — since 2011. Electricity prices in the rest of the United States outside California rose two percent, the same as the rate of inflation.

Between 2011 and 2017, California’s electricity prices rose five times faster than they did nationally. Today, Californians pay 60 percent more, on average, than the rest of the nation, for residential, commercial and industrial electricity.

California’s high penetration of intermittent renewables such as solar and wind are likely a key factor in higher prices. Economists agree that “the dominant policy driver in the electricity sector [in California]

So, you get a cute little rebate, but, your actual costs for electricity far outpace that $21.11. It’s not like they couldn’t see this coming

There’s simply no doubt that SB 100 will mean even higher electricity prices for Californians. A parallel can be seen in Germany, which has pledged to cut its carbon-dioxide emissions by 80 percent by 2050 and, like California, is closing its nuclear plants and pushing hard for more renewable energy. According to Agora Energiewende, a think tank that focuses on Germany’s transition toward renewables, between 2007 and 2018, residential electricity prices in Germany jumped by 50 percent. German residential customers now have some of the highest-priced electricity in Europe, about $0.37 per kilowatt-hour.

Ontario, Canada has had a similar experience. Over the past decade, Ontario closed its coal plants and implemented lucrative subsidies for renewables. The result: Between 2008 and 2016, residential electricity rates in Ontario rose 71 percent, which was more than double the average increase in the rest of Canada during that time. And rates in Ontario could rise another 40 percent by 2035. A report released by the Fraser Institute in April concluded that “soaring electricity costs in Ontario have placed a significant financial burden on the manufacturing sector and hampered its competitiveness.”

So, enjoy your $21.11, Californians. You voted for this.

Press Corp Which Demanded Trump Has Authority To Close Everything Upset Trump Says He Has Power To Reopen Everything

This is one of those times I would have liked to see Trump take a bit more of an even tone, maybe work a bit more with folks across the aisle, but, then, Democrats in governor and city leadership positions seem to want to keep things closed as long as possible. Mostly because they want to hurt Trump, caring little for their citizens in their cities and states. Most Republicans are on board with getting the economy going again

Donald Trump Reasserts ‘Total Authority’ to Reopen States

President Donald Trump reasserted his authority on Monday at the White House to reopen the country as it continues fighting the coronavirus.

“When somebody’s the president of the United States, the authority is total, and that is the way it’s gotta be,” he said. “And the governors know that.”

President Trump’s authority to overrule governors on coronavirus restrictions was challenged by Democrats and the establishment media on Monday.

The president did not indicate he would use his authority to supersede governors, citing his “great relationship” with them, but reasserted his power nonetheless.

“We’re going to write up papers on this, it’s not going to be necessary, because the governors need us one way or the other,” he said. “Because ultimately it comes from the federal government.”

When asked by CNN whether Democrat governors agreed with him, Trump replied, “I haven’t asked anybody, you know why? Because I don’t have to.”

On some points in reopening things, he does have authority, on others, not. But, consider

White House Press Corps Demanded Trump Shut Down Economy; Now Question His Authority to Reopen It

The White House Press Corps challenged President Donald Trump’s contention Monday that he has the “total” authority to reopen the U.S. economy after the coronavirus abates — after pestering him for weeks to impose a national shutdown.

In every previous case, Trump said that the Constitution’s federalist structure gave governors primary authority, but stated that he could also overrule them.

The media pushed him to assert his executive power — which they are now questioning:

  • On March 30, Trump was asked to respond to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) imposing a 70-day stay-at-home order. He responded: “Well, we’re letting the governors do in their states pretty much what they want with our supervision, and they consult with us in all cases.”
  • On April 1, a reporter asked Trump to contradict Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who had refused to issue stay-at-home orders at that point. The president responded that he had the power to do so, but “unless we see something obviously wrong, we’re going to let the governors do it.”

There are many more examples in the article, and plenty more than weren’t included.

The president’s stance was the same throughout. He argued that he had the constitutional authority to “supersede” governors and to shut down the economy in their states, but that he preferred to defer to the governors, according to the federalist structure of the Constitution.

Now, the media are challenging the very power they pressured Trump to assert just days ago.

And now the media and Democrats are discovering Federalism, and the 10th Amendment. Wait till they find out about the 9th Amendment and power to the people. Trump does have power in terms of things like interstate commerce, the “No Preference Clause, “restricts how states may insulate their economies from those of other states,” carrying out duly passed federal laws, and the supremacy clause (which I personally think is overboard in terms of execution, since many laws should never have been passed, should have been knocked down by the Supreme Court since they are not within the powers of Los Federales). But, heck, most governors, including Democrats like NY’s Andrew Cuomo and California’s Gavin Newsom, want the nation reopened for business.

Not Florida: Naked Woman Arrested For Entering New Orleans Airport

The part I like is that the headline almost assumes she wouldn’t have been arrested if it wasn’t Bat Soup virus lockdown

Woman arrested for entering New Orleans airport naked amidst coronavirus lock down

People used to get dressed up to fly.

A woman was recently arrested after allegedly arriving at the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans completely naked. According to local reports, she refused to leave when the airport staff told her that she could not fly with no clothes on.

Mariel Vergara, a 27-year-old from Pueblo, Colo., walked into the airport naked and approached the Spirit Airlines counter on April 4th, NOLA.com reports. Authorities were called to the scene and by the time they arrived, Vergara had reportedly put on a dress.

A deputy on the scene, however, reportedly said Vergara was not wearing underwear and that the dress did not properly cover her up. This meant that she was still violating public decency laws.

According to local news outlets, airline officials would not let Vergara fly due to her lack of attire and she was asked to leave the airport, which she allegedly refused to do.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office says that on April 4th, Vergara was charged with obscenity, resisting an officer, battery of a police officer, simple battery and remaining in the airport after being forbidden. On April 9th, she was charged with resisting police and battery of a police officer.

She was really going for the whole enchilada, eh?

Then these shmucks

Democrats have called for the suspension of most ICE arrests and the release of many detainees, amid reports coronavirus infections inside detention centres are soaring.

Of course they have. They care more about illegals than citizens.

Good News: Bat Soup Virus Can Be Spread By Farts

Of course, there is one little caveat

Coronavirus ‘could be spreading across the globe through farts’ claim doctors

The deadly coronavirus bug could be spreading across the globe through farts, according to doctors.

Tests carried out earlier this year have shown that the virus was present in the faeces of more than half of patients with Covid-19.

And doctors have previously warned farts contain tiny poo particles that can spread bacteria. (snip)

In his findings Dr Tagg cited tests carried out earlier this year which showed 55% of patients with SARS-CoV-2 had it present in their poo. (snip)

The doctor added that previous tests have shown farts have the power to spray talcolm powder long distances.

But

It said that farts are unlikely to transmit the virus provided pants are worn.

It warned, however, that if the infected patient was not wearing pants, and they released a large amount of gas, then someone else – if they took a close sniff at the gas – could be at risk.

Don’t sniff farts.

We Should Have Cash Payments For ‘Climate Change’ Just Like Bat Soup Virus Or Something

Why would we need cash payments to solve Hotcoldwetdry? Isn’t everything supposed to be hunky dory when climate policy is implemented?

Cash payments during coronavirus, and in fighting climate change

COVID-19 is foremost a public health crisis, but as it has unfolded, it has rippled out into an economic crisis, too. The stock market has lurched in ways we haven’t seen since the 2008 recession. Businesses are closing their doors as millions stay home to try to limit the spread of the virus. In the San Gabriel Valley, we’re seeing school, day-care and restaurant closures, long lines at grocery stores and lockdowns (with some layoffs) at major employers like the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. All of these affect our local economy. (snip)

To support people suffering from the economic impacts of the pandemic, our elected leaders are considering multiple proposals to give money directly to the American people. Members of the Republican-led Senate, the Democratic-controlled House and the Trump administration all put forth ideas for direct cash payments, ranging from one-time payments or monthly payments of varying sizes.

Climate change demands that we stop emitting greenhouse gases, which are trapping excess heat in our atmosphere and upsetting our planet’s delicate balance. Over the next 10 years, America needs to move from a fossil fuel-based economy to a clean energy economy. That will be a major challenge, but it should not be an acute crisis like we’re in now. By planning to give cash payments to Americans, we can ensure the health of our economy while making a gentle transition to a clean energy future.

So, the Cult of Climastrology is admitting that climate policy will cause major issues with the economy and people’s lives.

Here’s how. Congress could put a price on carbon pollution, driving our economy away from fossil fuels and toward clean energy sources, and it could rebate that money as an equal cash payment, or “dividend,” to all Americans each month.

And back to this scheme, where people will become reliant on the government to survive when government implements a policy that drastically increases the cost of living.

I’ll tell them what: when climate cultists give up their own use of fossil fuels in their own lives, I’ll consider it.

Washington Post, NY Times Finally Touch On Tara Read Sexual Assault Allegations Against Biden

We don’t really have to look back and see how the media covered allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, do we?

The article itself takes a very soft touch on Biden, and then they stealth edited the article, then deleted the tweet when they realized that the information was still in the tweet because it had some “imprecise information”. And then here’s the Washington Post, with a story way down the web front page

Sexual assault allegation by former Biden Senate aide emerges in campaign, draws denial

A California woman who last year said Joe Biden touched her neck and shoulders when she worked in his Senate office in 1993 is now accusing him of sexually assaulting her that year in a semiprivate area of the Capitol complex, an allegation the Biden campaign strongly denies.

The Washington Post has been examining Tara Reade’s allegation over the past three weeks, since she said on a podcast that Biden had pinned her against a wall, reached under her skirt and pushed his fingers inside her. At the time, she was a 29-year-old staff assistant.

In other words, the WP has been in deep consultation with the Biden campaign, Media Matters, and other hard left organizations to figure out how to protect Joe.

The Post has interviewed Reade on multiple occasions — both this year and last — as well as people she says she told of the assault claim and more than a half-dozen former staffers of Biden’s Senate office.

In interviews with The Post last year, Reade said that Biden had touched her neck and shoulders but did not mention the alleged assault or suggest there was more to the story. She faulted his staff, calling Biden “a male of his time, a very powerful senator, and he had people around saying it was okay.”

She acknowledged in more recent interviews that she twice voted for the Obama-Biden ticket, saying she strongly supported their political positions. Since January, Reade has been a vocal supporter of Biden’s former rival Bernie Sanders. She said political considerations played no role in her decision to raise the sexual assault allegation.

You can see that protecting Joe is where this is going, right? That they are pretty much calling Reade a liar, or at least an exaggerator, because Handsy Joe is always handsy, sniffing hair, etc.

Last spring, as Biden was preparing to formally enter the presidential race, about a half dozen women came forward with stories of unwanted touching or displays of affection. None alleged sexual assault.

Among them was Lucy Flores, who said that in 2014 the then-vice president touched and kissed the back of her head during her campaign for Nevada’s lieutenant governor.

Biden pledged to be “more respectful of people’s personal space.” But he joked about the criticism two days later, and he has remained physically affectionate during campaign events, where some supporters ask for hugs.

See, Joe is just affectionate. And thinks these allegations are a joke.

Should she be believed? The burden of proof is on her. She has filed a police report, but, this is America: innocent till proven guilty. Of course, in the era of #MeToo, people like Biden will be protected because of politics, while there will be an attempt to ruin the lives of other people, sometimes successful. They conveniently do not “believe all women” when it is inconvenient to “believe all women.”

Brits Send Their Luggage Separately To 2nd Homes

Like Michigan, Britain has a lockdown on traveling to a 2nd home, and they have found a novel way to get around it

Coronavirus: Second home-owners ‘evading police checkpoint detection by sending luggage ahead’

Second-home owners are reportedly ignoring the coronavirus lockdown rules by posting their luggage ahead of them to avoid detection at police checkpoints.

According to The Sun, couriers have reportedly been tasked with transporting luggage for those looking to escape to coastal regions during the Easter bank holiday.

During the government’s lockdown, road blocks have been set up by several regional police forces to dissuade would-be holidaymakers from travelling.

By sending their luggage in advance of their trip, second-home owners have reportedly been able to pass through the checkpoints since officers have no reason to suspect they are on holiday.

This has made the police Very Angry. Seriously, how dare people isolate themselves in their 2nd homes!

North Wales Police said in a statement soon afterwards: “Unbelievably we are investigating reports that people are sending their suitcases via courier with their clothes to holiday homes in Wales!,” the force’s rural crime team tweeted.

“So if they get stopped en-route they are not found with them. Surely people aren’t that selfish and cunning…are they?”

“Rural crime team.” What is so criminal, or selfish, about getting the hell out of dodge and going to a 2nd home? As long as people are keeping their distance from other people, what’s the problem?

If caught, they should just claim they are illegal aliens undocumented residents or Muslims or transgenders, you can bet law enforcement will leave them alone.

Michigan state troopers say they will only enforce the ban if someone gets caught for a different driving offense. At least for the moment. The mayor of Saginaw, Michigan, has gone brown-shirt

Saginaw Mayor Floyd Kloc is imposing overnight travel restrictions beginning Thursday and lasting for a full week.

His order prohibits travel on any county or local roads from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily from Thursday evening through the morning of April 16.

Only essential travel for food, medicine, gas, banking and medical care will be allowed during those hours. Residents are asked to avoid non-essential travel and comply with any police orders.

He said the Saginaw Police Department is enforcing Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order and will be monitoring travel in the city overnight.

“Residents who disregard this order must realize the severity of their actions,” Kloc said. “They are putting others at risk. There must be consequences to such recklessness in order to protect our vulnerable populations and the public servants who risk their health for our safety.”

Again, if you aren’t interacting with anyone else, what is the harm? And, it is a personal decision. Remember how parents used to expose us to chicken pox when we were kids? Well, we’re adults now. These authoritarians love talking about “my body my choice” when it comes to killing the unborn, but refuse to allow us a choice in our own lives for anything else.
