Where Are The Phony Soldiers?

Through all the liberal hysteria, misquoting, forgetting to say or excerpt the whole of Rush’s comment, they have forgotten one thing

The federal government is currently conducting more than 60 "stolen valor" investigations of individuals suspected of making false claims about their military records, according to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and about 30 people nationwide have been arrested in the past year for crimes related to falsifying a military record.

Stolen valor typically occurs when someone falsifies documents or produces medals and awards from the military they didn’t earn in order to qualify for veterans benefits.

Wait, there are actually phony soldiers? You mean Rush was right? My goodness! No need to list all the phonies out there who the left wing has embraced, been done to death. I’m sure the left feels that they are "fake but accurate."

In our area a few WW II, Korean War and Vietnam War vets just detected a phony US Marine ‘wannabe combat hero’ at a VFW ceremony. He’s an African American USMC Reserve Marine that wore phony awards and decs and ribbons on his dress blues! He’s being prosecuted now to the fullest extent of the law. OOHRAH! Yeah – he’s disgraced himself and the Corps, but Corps will prevail.
