Oh, Noes, Trump Deported Two German Teens On Vacation In Hawaii!

A pair of young German travelers were left shocked after they arrived in Hawaii only to be detained and deported due to their loosely planned trip.

Charlotte Pohl, 19, and Maria Lepere, 18, arrived in Honolulu to begin their trip but were grilled extensively by Customs and Border Protection.

The pair planned to explore before traveling on to California and Costa Rica, but they hadn’t booked any accommodation for their five-week stay in Hawaii.

It was the lack of planning that alerted CBP, despite the pair having obtained ESTA travel authorization, German news outlet Ostee-Zeitung originally reported.

The two were accused of potential illegal work intentions and, after hours of questioning, they were placed in handcuffs and taken to what they later found to be a deportation detention center, Beat of Hawaii reported.

So, pretty much entitled youts who learned that having zero accommodations is a big red flag to CBP. Things like this happen all the time, every year, but, they don’t make the news when Trump isn’t president. Hell, Trump probably learned about this having happened from the news. Maybe on Twitter. And laughed. Because every country has rules for visitors. Follow them. If they think Trump is micro-managing this much these TDS addled moonbats are wonkers.

The scientist, the 30-year-old Russian-born Kseniia Petrova, worked at Harvard’s renowned Kirschner Lab until her arrest at a Boston airport in mid-February. She is now being held at ICE’s Richwood Correctional Center in Monroe, Louisiana, and fighting possible deportation to Russia, where she said she fears persecution and jail time over her protests against the war in Ukraine.

“I would call it a grinding machine,” Petrova, who spoke with NBC News from the Louisiana facility, said about being detained. “We are in this machine, and it doesn’t care if you have a visa, a green card, or any particular story. … It just keeps going.”

But, um, finally

Dr. Leon Peshkin, a principal research scientist at Harvard’s Department of Systems Biology and Petrova’s manager and mentor, received a call from Customs and Border Protection on Feb. 16 after agents detained Petrova at Logan International Airport in Boston for failing to declare samples of frog embryos to be used in scientific research.

That would be called “smuggling”

A DHS spokesperson told NBC News on Monday that Petrova had been “lawfully detained after lying to federal officers about carrying substances into the country.”

And that would also be a legal offense, for which she continued to lie. And, I thought Democrats hated Russians these days? You would think such a critical cancer research scientist would be smart enough to, oh I don’t know, not smuggle illegal stuff into the country where she’s a guest and lie about it. She dug her own hole. The blame is on her. Maybe if the media wants some credibility, and NBC News spent a lot of words without saying “she broke the law and it’s her own fault”, they would stop with the TDS.

Harvard Sues Trump Admin Like They Are Owed Taxpayer Money

There’s all sorts of entitlement these days. People who think they do not have to show ID when pulled over for simple driving infraction ending with them being arrested. People who think they can Demand others comply with their Beliefs. Ageing pop stars and their media friends who think they’re astronauts, not passengers. And then

Harvard sues Trump administration over $2 billion cut to federal funding

Harvard University filed suit Monday against the Trump administration, challenging its decision to cut more than $2 billion in grants in a high-profile showdown between the government and the prestigious private institution.

Harvard President Alan Garber said in a statement announcing the suit that the university chose to challenge what it considered unreasonable demands from an administration antisemitism task force to “to control whom we hire and what we teach.”

The administration’s demands, he said, “would impose unprecedented and improper control over the university” and came without any real effort to engage on the issue of antisemitism. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Massachusetts.

“The gravy train of federal assistance to institutions like Harvard, which enrich their grossly overpaid bureaucrats with tax dollars from struggling American families is coming to an end,” said Harrison Fields, a White House spokesperson, in response to the lawsuit. “Taxpayer funds are a privilege, and Harvard fails to meet the basic conditions required to access that privilege.”

I mean, the cajones on Harvard for suing so that the federal government gives them taxpayer money like it’s owed to them. Harvard, as you’ll remember, is a private institution

So, then why do they demand taxpayer money? They get more than enough money from endowments and more. If the work they’re doing is so great then private entities will easily replace the money.

In addition, the Internal Revenue Service is scrutinizing the university’s tax-exempt status, and the Department of Homeland Security has threatened to revoke Harvard’s ability to enroll international students, who make up about 27 percent of its total enrollment. The Education Department is also probing the university’s federal funding.

“These actions have stark real-life consequences for patients, students, faculty, staff, researchers, and the standing of American higher education in the world,” Garber said.

Besides the fact that private institutions shouldn’t get taxpayer money scotch free, all Harvard has to do is shut down the Jew hatred and a few minor things the Trump admin has required. If they are taking federal money, then the federal government has a say in operations, to a point. And anything developed with that money does partly belong to the federal government.

They argue that the administration’s actions flout the First Amendment and Title VI compliance procedures that must occur before revoking federal funding. The university argued that the government has “made no effort to follow those procedures” before freezing or terminating its funding, which include attempting to secure voluntary compliance, holding a hearing and unveiling a report of findings.

I thought they were private? So, they have no ownership for the money. If the federal government gives aid to countries there were historically strings attached to the aid. Well, there are strings attached to the money Harvard gets. But, they and other universities should not get any taxpayer money unless it is for a specific project which benefits the United States.

Anyhow, Harvard will shop for a Friendly Progressive Judge to rule in their favor, then the Trump admin will still withhold the money as it appeals.

Venomous aquatic invader spreads across Israeli coasts, Europe thanks to climate change

While there is no shortage of threats facing Israel and Europe right now, climate change may have introduced a new one: the rabbitfish (a.k.a the Aras).

The venomous aquatic invader comes in four sub-species, two of which are currently found in the Mediterranean, Tel Aviv University Zoologist Dr. Menachem Goren explained to the Jerusalem Post.

The first and most common, known as the marble spinefoot, was first recorded on Israeli shorelines over 200 years ago in 1924. The second, the dusky spinefoot, was found along Israeli shores in 1955 after traveling through the Suez Canal.

While the fish has been long recorded in Israel now, the population has dramatically increased in recent years as a result of climate change, spreading as far into Europe as France, Dr. Goren explained. The dusky spinefoot, in particular, is less sensitive to cold waters, making its movements to Europe much easier.

So, it’s nothing new, it’s just doing better. Perhaps less pollution in the Med, more protections for the waters. Oh, wait, spreading because of cold waters? Huh. Cult.

Both subspecies are herbivores, eating up much of the Mediterranean’s green algae and seagrass, the environment used for cover by native fish and crustaceans.

Do these doomsday cultists not realize that life actually spreads on Earth? Always has, always will? Oh, right, cult.

El Salvador President Tells Democrats Trying To Visit Garcia To Go Pound Sand

Democrats, Denied Access to Ábrego García in El Salvador, Demand ‘Daily Proof of Life’

Four House Democrats traveled to El Salvador on Monday to pressure President Nayib Bukele and the Trump administration to release Kilmar Ábrego García, a Maryland resident who was deported last month despite a federal court order protecting him from removal.

But after being denied access to Ábrego García during their visit, the lawmakers said they were now demanding the Trump administration produce “daily proof of life,” as well as access to counsel and his immediate release.

“Since we were not able to get the answers we need today from the embassy, we have written a letter just as of 30 minutes ago to Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanding daily proof of life for Mr. Ábrego García,” said Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, one of the House Democrats who traveled to the Central American country, at a press conference on Monday afternoon. “And of course, finally, demanding his safe return home.”

The visit by the delegation—which included Reps. Robert Garcia of California, Maxwell Frost of Florida, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, and Ansari—is the latest effort by Democrats to bring attention to Ábrego García’s case, which some legal scholars say has brought the U.S. to the brink of a constitutional crisis. The Supreme Court this month ordered the federal government to “facilitate” Ábrego García’s return to the United States, but the Trump administration has declined to do so, citing lack of jurisdiction.

Like Trump will listen to these four yahoos who are doing all the can to assist an MS-13 member who beat his wife any more than El Salvador’s president

So, these wackos had to pay for their own airfare and hotels and food and transportation. Too bad. Really, Trump should fly Garcia back, have an immigration judge at the airport, hold the hearing, then send him right back to El Salvador. No jail. Or, Bukele could just release him and say “have a nice life!” If he shows back up in the U.S. that would be a felony.

“There is no reason for me to believe that the Trump administration is doing anything to facilitate his safe return home,” Ansari said. “And that is simply unacceptable.”

To whom? The people who want foreign gang members in the U.S.? How about one of the four or Van Hollen offer to house Garcia, make sure he doesn’t disappear, while awaiting his hearing? Or one of the Tren de Aruga gang members? Meanwhile

NPR Missing The Woke Climate Pope

Remember, NPR is a completely neutral “news” outlet. And they would never use the death of the Pope to push the climate cult

Pope Francis focused on climate change as the planet continued to get hotter

In addition to being the spiritual leader of about 1.4 billion Catholics, Pope Francis advocated for taking action on climate change. That’s not surprising for a pontiff who was the first to take the name of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and ecology.

Over his 12 years as the head of the Catholic Church, Francis repeatedly raised the problem of human-caused global heating from burning fossil fuels and he encouraged people—including world leaders—to do something about it.

His 2015 encyclical brought an influential voice into the global discussion, just as leaders were finalizing an important agreement in Paris, which aimed to address the problem. And as humans continued to heat the planet with pollution from fossil fuels, Francis’ missives became progressively more urgent. Researchers felt these writings boosted Francis’ prominence as a climate advocate, though they appear to have largely failed to change people’s minds about climate change. Still supporters say he brought together science, morality and faith in new ways for his church.

I prefer not to speak ill of the dead so quick, but, Pope Francis seemed more concerned with things other than The Bible, Jesus, and protecting and spreading Christianity. He seemed super concerned about the climate scam to the point where he seemed to worship the gods of the cult, violating the 1st Commandment. Environmental protection is one thing: taking the positions of a doomsday climate cult is something else, and seems to violate that whole “false idols” thing.

Francis’ climate encyclical inspired several Catholic climate groups to form, including The Global Catholic Climate Movement, which is now called the Laudato Si’ Movement.

“All around the world, you saw all of these people reading the encyclical, writing letters to the editor, posting on social media, forming discussion groups in their parishes,” says Rebecca Elliott, senior director for strategy and special projects at Laudato Si’ Movement.

The nonprofit group says it has worked in 140 countries and trained about 20,000 community leaders it calls “animators,” people who put into practice the ideas Francis has advocated. “They’re educating the next generation in care for creation. They’re planting trees. They’re holding litter cleanups. They’re doing mobilizations and marches to advocate for better policies,” Elliott says.

Are they teaching Catholicism and the teachings of Jesus? Or the golden calf of global boiling?

Landrum says Francis likely will be remembered as an “advocate for climate change” and as “an environmental pope.” While he may not have changed many conservative minds, she says, “I think that he did plant a flag, and to say that climate change mitigation is consistent with socially conservative values and with Catholic values.”

Well, he won’t be remembered as someone who cared about Catholicism.

Migrants/Illegal Aliens Losing Work Status In Canada

Some migrants in Canada lose work status while applications languish

Migrants living in Canada are facing longer waits to renew paperwork that would allow them to keep working legally, as growing backlogs and changing rules stymie efforts to maintain legal status, according to interviews and data obtained by Reuters.

Losing status means people who have paid taxes cannot work or access medical care and other services in a country that has long prided itself for its universal health care.

Universal health care is great until you have to wait 13 months to get an MRI to see if you have a brain tumor.

Canada is trying to reduce the number of migrants in the country as they have been blamed for straining services – a sharp change after years of growth – and is relying on people to leave voluntarily to meet its targets.

Canada realized that the massive numbers they were bringing in were unsustainable. That doesn’t mean they will stop bringing in people from around the world who do not share the language, do not share the culture, will mostly refuse to assimilate, and expect Canada to accommodate them and change for them. Canada will bring in 395,000 new permanent residents in 2025, 380,000 in 2026 and 365,000 in 2027, down from 485,000 in 2024, according to a government source.

The number of temporary residents, meanwhile, will decrease by about 30,000 to around 300,000 in 2025, the source said.

Of course, those temporary residents mostly do not seem to ever leave. Meanwhile

NY state set to end resettlement program for migrant families in city shelters

A New York state-run resettlement program for migrants — criticized for its slow pace in placing families — is coming to an end, after relocating roughly half of the families it was set up to help.

New York’s Migrant Relocation Assistance Program (MRAP), launched in July 2023 amid a surge in migrant arrivals to New York City, will cease relocating new families on June 15, according to Anthony Farmer, a spokesperson for the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, which runs the program.

It was designed to get all those illegals out of Sanctuary City New York, because illegals are expensive and cause problems, and NYC liberals didn’t want to have to practice what they preached.

Farmer said the program is ending because fewer migrants are arriving in New York City and seeking shelter. The change also comes as the Trump administration has cracked down on immigration and sought to cut and even claw back federal funds to jurisdictions aiding immigrants.

It’s because Texas governor Greg Abbott doesn’t have to ship them because the number of crossers was down to just 7,000 in March 2025, after being in the hundreds of thousands most months of the Biden admin.

One afternoon in February, hoping to survive the apocalypse or at least avoid finding myself among its earliest victims, I logged on to an online course entitled Ruggedize Your Life: The Basics.

Some of my classmates had activated their cameras. I scrolled through the little windows, noting the alarmed faces, downcast in cold laptop light. There were dozens of us on the call, including a geophysicist, an actor, a retired financial adviser and a civil engineer. We all looked worried, and rightly so. The issue formerly known as climate change was now a polycrisis called climate collapse. H1N1 was busily jumping from birds to cows to people. And with each passing day, as Donald Trump went about gleefully dismantling state capacity, the promise of a competent government response to the next hurricane, wildfire, flood, pandemic, drought, mudslide, heatwave, financial meltdown, hailstorm or other calamity receded further from view. For many years, Steffen worked as an environmental reporter. He wrote several acclaimed books that explored technological solutions to the climate crisis, served as “futurist in residence” at the design firm IDEO, and taped a couple Ted Talks, gradually gaining a reputation as one of the foremost thinkers on the sustainability circuit. Meanwhile, he watched in horror as the window for action narrowed and governments and institutions dithered. “I still find it staggering and heart-rending that we blew this so badly,” he said in an interview.

It’s not to believe in doom when you continuously listen to messages of doom, right? If you’re predisposed to believe in coming climate doom. I mean, I read a lot of zombie books (most movies and TV shows are terrible), but, I’m not predisposed to believing it will actually happen, even with a really good explanation, such as 28 Days Later (BTW, looking forward to 28 years later, but, how can they have survived? They weren’t actually dead, and 28 Weeks Later shows those infected with Rage to have died from starvation, and explains it).

Let’s jump through a few paragraphs of prepper history

Not all of them are conservatives. Liberals make up about 15% of the prepping scene, according to one estimate, and their numbers appear to be growing.

What are they doing?

One private Facebook group dedicated to preparedness for liberals has more than tripled in size since the election. Here, one finds no tradwife panegyrics, gun porn or “TEOTWAWKI” (the End of the World as We Know It) merch. Instead, participants offer advice on maintaining one’s online anonymity under a potential fascist regime, advocate the stockpiling of anxiety meds and reading material (ahead of expected bans), and debate the moral dilemma of buying a first aid kit from a company that caters to law enforcement. Liberal preparedness podcasters and newsletter writers I spoke to also reported a notable uptick in subscribers since Trump’s election.

Too much to unpack in that paragraph. You do it in your mind. The article keeps going and going. These people will be lost if disaster actually comes.

NY Times Fearmongers Over State Dept “Memo” That Rubio Calls “Fake News”

Trump Administration Draft Order Calls for Drastic Overhaul of State Department

Sherman Potter Bull CookiesA draft of a Trump administration executive order proposes a drastic restructuring of the State Department that includes eliminating almost all of its Africa operations and shutting down embassies and consulates across the continent, according to American officials and a copy of the document.

The draft also calls for cutting offices at State Department headquarters that address climate change and refugee issues, as well as democracy and human rights concerns.

It was not immediately clear who had compiled the document or what stage of internal debates over a restructuring of the State Department it reflected. It is one of several recent documents proposing changes to the department, and internal administration conversations take place daily on possible actions.

Some of the ideas have been debated among U.S. officials in recent weeks, though it is unclear to what degree they would be adopted or how active the draft is, officials said.

Weird how no one is mentioned by name.

Of course, the Times doubles down with their second line

Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote a short comment on social media after this article was published, calling it “fake news.” There are no indications that Mr. Rubio or his top aides have signed off on the document, though they have been working on a reorganization of the State Department.

There’s no indication because they haven’t. You read Rubio’s tweet, right? Now, I really wouldn’t be surprised if they are in the process of shutting down all the climate scam stuff, and significantly restricting immigrants from America hating countries and those that will cause problems. Nor should we expect a large number of “refugees” to be brought into the U.S. while Trump is president. Shutting down most operations in Africa? Yeah, that’s horseshit.

The purpose of the executive order is to impose “a disciplined reorganization” of the State Department and “streamline mission delivery” while cutting “waste, fraud and abuse,” according to a copy of the draft order obtained by The New York Times. The order says the department is supposed to make the changes by Oct. 1.

The non-existent EO? Though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were going to change operations so that most of the US aid and money wouldn’t be wasted, that it would go to the people who need it, rather than the politicians, elites, and warlords in Africa.

Anyhow, it’s a pretty long article for something Rubio called fake news.
