Hottie Climate Moroness Willl Take Cold Showers For Earth Hour

More on celebrities, whose lifestyles and professions use enormous power, and then get preachy

PETALING JAYA: This year’s Earth Hour will see singer-actress Hannah Tan shower without turning on the heater.

“No hot water showers (for me) for the entire day!” she said.

I’d be more impressed if it wasn’t for just one out of 365

Maya Karin: ‘It’s good to see that Earth Hour has made an impact in Malaysia.’

Tan added that using less hot water and opting for a shower instead of a bath would also help save Mother Earth.

She is among many individuals who will be commemorating Earth Hour on March 26 by doing more than just coping in the dark for 60 minutes out of a year.

Earth Hour was initiated by WWF in 2007 and has seen an increased urgency with calls for people to “go beyond the hour”.

“I believe we can all make the difference by adjusting our lifestyles a little, with things such as replacing our regular light bulbs with energy-saving ones, checking our car tyres regularly – properly inflated tyres means good gas mileage, which leads to decreased production of carbon monoxide,” said Tan.

How about simply giving up your car, all you alarmists, if they’re so bad?

Say, I wonder how much CO2 was produced from the magazine shoot, publishing that edition, printing it, and transporting it around the world?

  1. Did you notice ‘showers’ is plural and ‘day’ is singular. Does that mean she averages more than 1 a day – all presumably hot? She’s a climate criminal!

(And what I really want to know is if she holds the line at one square per #2, per Cheryl Crowe’s recommendation)

  2. Well, it’s hard sweaty work taking a limo to a photoshoot under all those hot lights.

As to the second, don’t want to contemplate!

Ummmm…. you’re a friggin idiot. stick to showing your boobs, that’s about as good as your brain is going to get.

The US and other Western nations could all shut down… completely… not use any oil or petroleum products and the level of CO2 would still rise in our atmosphere!! One, its natural, and two.. ALL OF THE OTHER FRIGGIN COUNTRIES ARE USING ENERGY AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!

man, our gene pool is really getting thin….
