NASA Satellite To Study Global Warming Which They Don’t Understand

As Tom Nelson says, I thought the science was settled?

Identifying the source of a particle floating in the atmosphere makes finding a needle in a haystack sound easy. But the robotic probe attached to NASA’s new satellite, named Glory, will do just that from over 400 miles above the Earth’s surface. The satellite will carry a particle identifying instrument, called the Aerosol Polarimetry Sensor (APS), along with another probe called the Total Irradiance Monitor (TIM). The two instruments will work together to help scientists understand the dynamics of global warming and identify its causes.

Finally, someone is saying that they really do not know what is going on, and will practice real science. At least till the alarmists get their hands on the day, and adjust it and spin it for their purposes. Oh, and
quote of the day

If one takes a serious, adult look at the variability of weather and climate over time you find amazing events. In the winter of 1249 it was so warm in England that people did not need winter clothes. They walked about in summer dress. It was so warm people thought the seasons had changed. There was no frost in England the entire winter. Can you imagine what NOAA would say if that happened next year? But it did happen, 762 years ago and burning fossil fuels had nothing to do with it.

  1. John Ryan says:

the weather in the UK. So very important even though it is less than 1% of our planet. Teach why do you think it was that warm in that particular area ?

  2. gitarcarver says:

It is not up to Teach to explain the weather Ryan. It is up to idiots like you to explain how that weather pattern fits in with the “man made global warming” theory people like you put forth.

  3. captainfish says:

Amazing how people like to gripe at Teach for pointing out weather stories that point to data-points in a changing climate for UK, but then can’t even come up with a reliable weather prediction for that small 1% of the planet.

    huh. strange.

Let me ask commentors this question: Could we have already gone into the stages of rampant global warming? The world warmed up to the point that people were wearing summer clothes in winter in the UK, places in America experienced a year without a summer…. could we have already climaxed into our danger zone of climate warming? And, the weather and climate effects we are experiencing now are the after affects from increasing CO2?

I ask this because according to the Anthropogenic Rhetorical Warmists, everything increases linearly. Thus, if 762 years ago it was warm in the winter, then shouldn’t we have already climaxed into and BEYOND the “global warming”????

    just asking.

  4. Well, you know, it’s obviously my fault that the world has warmed, just not as much as during the Medieval period warmth. And it’s my fault that John, like most other Warmists, cannot understand the difference between natural warming, and the fake globull warming. And it’s probably my fault that they do not understand the science of how the world warms and cools. And that it was much more than just England that warmed during the last big warm period. If only I would stop driving my Jeep Liberty…. but, hey, I’ll give up my Jeep when all the warmists decide to practice what they preach.

It’s just the same old same old, Captain and GT: liberals always attack the messenger, rather than the actual facts.

  5. John Ryan says:

is it your premise that 1249 was the warmest year ever ?

  6. captainfish says:

    you’re a(n) (racist) idiot

<is it your premise that 1249 was the warmest year ever ?

Do you see that assertion in Teach’s writing at all Ryan? Just another deflection from you. You won’t debate or discuss the facts because they are against you.

Assuming that 2010 is the warmest within the last century (because the data from 1934 is continually being fudged to fit perceptions) where would 2010 rank in terms of the warmest years?

If you guessed that it would be the 9098th warmest year out of the last 10,000, you would win.

Think about that Ryan. Think about what that means and then try and come back with some intelligent reply.
