More on Firefox

So, a week of using Firefox, and still pretty darn happy, and impressed, with it. I just ran AdAware, to remove those pesky spyware annoyances, and had 3. Usually end up with 16 or so on an average week. Means Firefox is doing its job. Go download and install it, if you haven’t so far. Look left and down for the button.

I’ve been having some rather bad experiences with firefox. Mostly with “non-compliant” sites. My site had a problem with some of the code on my sidebar (which I fixed) and for a really drastic example of what firefox will not do pull up http://www.bamapachyderm.com (My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy) in both IE and Firefox. Beth just had a site upgrade and looks fantastic in IE but looks like a big red blob under firefox. I’m still sticking with it though…fight the power and all that.

Hi, Ijust surfed in.I’ll have to bookmark this.I have been using Mozilla for 4 months, and love it.I loaded Firefox on my nephews laptop and it seems just as good.I have been using a computer less than a year,I must be one of the newbes, this is to difficult for.I was in love 5 minutes after downloading. But what do I know?

  3. Yeah, I have found a few places that just do not work, or work properly, with Firefox, such as MSNBC’s video, which is IE 6+ only. I have that “open in IE” plugin for those occasions.

Pete, you know just as much as most people. You surf and cruise, and, if you like some piece of software, your opinion is just as good as anyone elses. Seriously.
