Crazy Joe Biden Thumps Comrade Bernie

The Bern has burned out, and the Crazy is closer to being the Democrat nominee

Biden’s ‘Joe-mentum’ grows as Dem front-runner sweeps Midwest contests, eyes Sanders knockout

History didn’t repeat itself in Michigan for Bernie Sanders.

And because of that, the populist U.S. senator from Vermont had an extremely disappointing evening on “Super Tuesday II” — and now faces daunting delegate math that leaves him slipping swiftly out of reach of the Democratic presidential nomination.

Just four years ago, it was in Michigan where Sanders pulled off a historic upset over eventual nominee Hillary Clinton. At the time, the victory kept his White House bid alive.

Fast forward four years later and Sanders – down in the public opinion polls by double digits once again in the Great Lake State – was convincingly defeated by former Vice President Joe Biden.

Four years ago Sanders nearly topped Clinton in Missouri. This time around he lost the state by a nearly 2-to-1 margin to Biden. And the former vice president trounced Sanders in Mississippi and won in Idaho as well.

All in all, Comrade Bernie did not do well. There’s no doubt that the gaffe machine (who also seems to be getting senile) is the clear front runner, and Comrade Bernie’s chances are extremely low at this point. The problem for Bernie? For all the excitement for his candidacy, his actual constituency is small. He never expanded out. He’s primarily motivated the 30 and under crowd, who cannot win a primary for a candidate, and tend to not show up that much, as happened yesterday. Marxist’s like AOC can have a sad all they want, but, they can’t create a big enough coalition.

So, here’s the kind of thing you should look forward to with Joe in command

Yeah, King is a Bernie Bro, but, he’s not wrong. Threatening to slap an American citizen is not OK. Imagine Trump doing this. Imagine the media freakout. Imagine Democrats taking to the House and Senate floors. Instead, the media is loving Joe Biden’s rants about taking ….. AR-14’s? What the heck is that? …. and slapping people.

Good luck running on “I’m going to confiscate your guns”, Joe.

BTW, the person he was shushing was one of his own aides, who was surely attempting to keep Joe out of being a fool. Tough job. Hope she gets paid well.

Capitol Broadcasting: Coronavirus Means We Should Expand Medicaid, You Know

Remember, we keep being told that this is not political, but, then, groups like Capitol Broadcasting Corporation, which runs several properties here in NC, including TV stations WRAL, WRAZ, WILM, along with 5 radio stations, keep proving themselves wrong

Editorial: State should make sure ALL in need are tested for coronavirus

In the emergency $8.3 billion spending package approved in Congress last week to address the coronavirus outbreak, there’s at least $13 million in emergency funding set aside for North Carolina to address local public health needs associated with the outbreak.

Several states have already announced that some of those funds will be used to pay for – or substantially subsidize – the cost of coronavirus testing for patients who lack health coverage. In most states, particularly the 38 that have expanded Medicaid, it is a relatively small number.

But that is not the case in North Carolina because it hasn’t expanded Medicaid. Gov. Roy Cooper’s administration is giving serious consideration to using some of those emergency federal dollars to pay for those who do need to be tested but cannot afford it. Such a move would be the right thing, not just helping those with financial challenges, but also because it is the right thing to protect the public health.

But this is a state where the General Assembly’s leadership has steadfastly refused to extend health coverage to those who need it but cannot afford it. Should Cooper decide to use the emergency federal funds for the coronavirus testing, no one should ignore the very real possibility legislative leaders might try to block it.

Preposterous, you say. Not so fast.

Yeah, it is preposterous, and just shows the way Democrats are using this for political purposes. And, for all the lofty yammering about free tests for all, this is really about using coronavirus to push to expand Medicaid

In opinion poll after opinion poll, North Carolina citizens are overwhelming in their support of expanding Medicaid.

But North Carolina elected leaders turn a cold shoulder. They say if anyone wants health coverage “the best thing that folks can do is get a job.” The reality is that most of the more than half-million North Carolinians who would qualify for assistance under Medicaid Expansion are working or are the children of parents who are working. They just don’t make enough money and don’t work for firms that provide health coverage.

They won’t be so enthused about expanding Medicaid when they have to pay for it and service is rationed.

These federal funds SHOULD be used to be sure EVERYONE who needs to be tested, regardless of financial status, has it done. The legislature needs to stay out of the way.

The General Assembly hasn’t said word one about this.

Coronavirus Outbreak Is Bad For ‘Climate Change’ Or Something

Members of the Cult of Climastrology are rather upset that the Coronavirus is taking attention away from their doomsday cult

Why the coronavirus outbreak is terrible news for climate change

It appears increasingly likely that the global coronavirus outbreak will cut greenhouse-gas emissions this year, as deepening public health concerns ground planes and squeeze international trade.

But it would be a mistake to assume that the rapidly spreading virus, which has already killed thousands and forced millions into quarantine, will meaningfully reduce the dangers of climate change.

As with the rare instances when worldwide carbon pollution dipped in the past, driven by earlier economic shocks, diseases, and wars, emissions are likely to rise again as soon as the economy bounces back. In the meantime, if the virus leads to a full-blown global pandemic and economic crash, it could easily drain money and political will from climate efforts.

In fact, we absolutely should dedicate the bulk of our international attention and resources to the outbreak at this moment, given the grave and immediate public health dangers.

At this one cult member understands it would be a bad idea to recommend keeping the focus on Hotcoldwetdry when people are afraid, getting sick, and some dying (especially since ‘climate change’ is a scam, a false issue)

Still, the fear is that the highly contagious coronavirus could complicate the challenges of climate change—which presents serious, if longer-term, threats of its own—at a point when it was crucial to make rapid strides. There are several ways this could happen:

  • If capital markets lock up, it’s going to become incredibly difficult for companies to secure the financing necessary to move ahead with any pending solar, wind, and battery projects, much less propose new ones.
  • Global oil prices took a historic plunge on Monday, driven by a price war between Russia and Saudi Arabia as well as coronavirus concerns. Cheap gas could make electric vehicles, already more expensive, a harder sell for consumers. It’s why Tesla’s stock crashed on Monday.

There are several more bulletpoints, but, essentially, it comes down to no one wanting to piss away money on the climate scam when markets are tight. And it is more difficult to get cheap solar and wind products from China, which dumps them on the world market. Oh, and “Rising health and financial fears could also divert public attention from the problem.” Yes, people are concerned with this real world issue, rather than a fake one.

You know, if Warmists really cared, they’d support re-electing President Trump, because the economy will do better under Trump than Bernie or Biden, and when the economy does well companies and individuals have disposable income to invest in Hotcoldwetdry stuff. The capital is around. Funding is available. And people’s lives are doing well enough that they can pretend to care about fake issues.

Small Business Owners Support Trump Over Sanders/Biden Bigly

Small businesses are the backbone of the economy. The people who run them tend to be closer to the workers than in big companies, and really know what’s going on, what affects workers and their paychecks. You can bet they are now on the hit-list of Modern Socialists

Job Creators Network Survey: More than 70 Percent of Small Business Owners Would Re-Elect Trump over Biden, Sanders

A survey conducted by the Job Creators Network (JCN) showed that small business owners — employers with less than 500 employees — found that 79.4 percent want free market-based healthcare as opposed to Medicare for All or a Public Option.

JNC also asked the 703 local business owners how they think the Trump administration has handled economic issues; 66 percent of the small business owners responded with “good” or “great.”

“When asked who they would vote for if the election was held tomorrow and the Democratic candidate was Joe Biden, more than 73 percent said they would vote for Donald Trump,” the survey said. That number jumped to 77 percent who said they would vote to re-elect President Trump if Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was the Democratic candidate.

“The results speak for themselves: small business owners are thriving and attribute much of their continued success to the pro-growth policies pushed by the current administration,” said Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, in a press release.

These small business owners know who is better for their business. They know who will support them better. And that Medicare for All would be a disaster for their business and their workers.

When asked what the top three areas of concern are for them, 56.7 percent of the group of small business owners said high taxes, another 39.8 percent said healthcare, and 37.6 said the Coronavirus concerns them.

They know that the Democratic Party plans to jack up taxes will hurt them, and, will hurt their employees, because that would mean getting rid of employees, capping hours worked, reduced pay and benefits, reducing the number of part time employers. Of course, Democrats like Biden and Comrade Sanders neither know nor care, because they really have never worked outside of politics during their lives. Trump has run businesses. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes not. But, he’s been out there. He’s worked with big wigs and small entrepreneurs. He knows what makes business work, and what the government’s role should be. Bernie and Biden, along with the rest of the Dems, just want the federal government to control everything and everyone.

Climate Scientactivists Have A Sad, Feel Guilty

Perhaps they should not be taking all those fossil fueled flights around the world to climate conferences

‘I’m profoundly sad, I feel guilty’: scientists reveal personal fears about the climate crisis

In 2014, Joe Duggan started reaching out to climate scientists to ask them a question: how did climate change make them feel?

“I was just blown away when I started getting the letters back,” he says.

Duggan, a science communicator at Australian National University, set up a website and starting publishing the mostly handwritten responses.

“[Professor] Katrin Meissner was one of the first, and her letter really hit me. It was so … unscience-y. Almost poetic.”

“It makes me feel sad. And it scares me,” Meissner wrote.

“It scares me more than anything else. I see a group of people sitting in a boat, happily waving, taking pictures on the way, not knowing that this boat is floating right into a powerful and deadly waterfall.”

In the end, more than 40 scientists responded – many leaders in their field. Some wrote neatly on lined notepaper, others scrawled on the back of student papers they were marking.

Forty! We’re doomed!

Good Grief: Could Coronavirus Be Trump’s Katrina?

No, seriously, Credentialed Media folks and Democrats, along with #NeverTrumper nutballs, are actually going down this road. Her’s CNN’s Chris Cillizza

Is coronavirus Donald Trump’s Katrina?

What sunk President George W. Bush and Republicans in his second term wasn’t the war in Iraq. It was his administration’s mishandling of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Whispers have begun that President Donald Trump’s handling (or mishandling) of the ongoing coronavirus epidemic has the potential to have political consequences just as devastating for the GOP.

“Viral Katrina,” tweeted “Never Trump” Republican Rick Wilson over the weekend.

The problem for the administration at the moment is an inability to stay on message. The White House and/or experts on the coronavirus task force say one thing that is then publicly contradicted by the President.

Except, see, the problems with Katrina weren’t due to the Bush administration: states like Alabama and Mississippi, which saw a direct strike from Katrina, did much better because they had Republican governors who took appropriate action pre and post hurricane, working with Los Federales. Louisiana’s Democrat governor refused to declare a state of emergency in time, despite Bush begging Kathleen Blanco. Further, the Democrat run government of New Orleans was utterly incompetent. Remember the buses (the article is charitable) that weren’t used? The failure to declare an emergency in a timely fashion (they waited till 24 hours out). Most of the rest of the state actually did well.

What the Media, Dems, and #NeverTrumpers want is Americans being harmed, hurt, and killed for their political purposes.

We Can’t Ignore The Risks From Hotcoldwetdry And Coronavirus Or Something

Hey, should we be calling it Wuhan virus, or would that be raaaaacist? Regardless, the doomsday Cult of Climastrology continues to jam its cultish beliefs into everything. This is from Axios, hence the formatting

Coronavirus and climate change are obvious risks we ignore

Forget black swans. We’re getting run over by two gray rhinos: coronavirus and climate change.

The intrigue: A gray rhino is a metaphor coined by risk expert Michele Wucker to describe “highly obvious, highly probable, but still neglected” dangers, as opposed to unforeseeable or highly improbable risks — the kind in the black swan metaphor.

The big picture: The novel coronavirus spreading infections and fear around the world is prompting black swan references from the media and investors alike, as is climate change’s impact on financial markets.

  • But epidemics like the coronavirus and the slower burn problem of global warming are actually gray rhino risks, because there have been plenty of warnings for those who were paying attention.

Why it matters: Understanding what kind of risk you are facing — as an individual, country, company or world — is essential to make sure you’re prepared before, during and after a moment of crisis. Mistaking a gray rhino for a black swan suggests you’ll be ill prepared.

CO2 is not a danger. A slight uptick in the global temperature is not a danger. These cultists just can’t help linking the two issues together

Where it stands: For most people on the street — or a cruise ship — it’s probably OK if they haven’t been paying attention until now to a potential epidemic.

  • But governments, companies and experts around the world should have seen it coming because epidemics are not new and are likely to become more common, Bill Gates says. Other experts agree, per the WSJ.
  • In the same vein, it’s OK if individuals aren’t losing sleep trying to cut their own carbon footprint — but governments, financial institutions and companies should be taking action, both to adapt to an inevitably warmer world and to reduce heat-trapping emissions.

See, it’s OK if individuals don’t do anything to make their own life compliant, but, governments and such should. Which means the cost of living goes up and government controls more of people’s lives.

  • Coronavirus is a more immediate threat, and the amount of uncertainty surrounding it feels limitless. We don’t know how many people in any given area are infected, and because we don’t know that, questions persist about the accurate mortality rate.
  • Climate change is one massive systematic risk that will unfold over decades and centuries. It increases the risk for an infinite number of distinct weather events and patterns.

The former is real, the latter is not. But, the CoC won’t quit on linking the two. Because cult.

Extinction Rebellion Protests About “Climate Rape” While Topless

Remember when climate scientists were telling the other members of their cult to not be crazy, because it makes it really hard to get people on board? XR tends not to listen

Topless Women Protest ‘Climate Rape’ in London on International Women’s Day

A group of 31 women formed a topless human chain in London to protest against climate change on International Women’s Day. (Warning: explicit images.)

Members of the climate change alarmist group Extinction Rebellion (XR) took off their shirts on Waterloo Bridge, blocking traffic in an protest against the supposedly disparate impact that climate change has on women. The protestors painted slogans on their chests such as “climate rape” and “climate murder”.

A former teacher who took part in the protest, Sarah Mintram, explained the rationale behind the topless protest, saying: “It’s mainly women in poorer countries in the global south that are experiencing the increase in violence but this will be the reality for all women if the climate and ecological crisis continues to go unaddressed.”

Well, that’s interesting, since none of these women are underprivileged or live in poorer countries. Nor does a tiny increase in carbon dioxide nor a minor 1.5F increase in 170 years cause violence against women. Oh, and the same type of uber-leftist multicultural/diversity type people blocking the bridge topless and yammering about violence against women are the same ones who cause the UK government to turn a blind eye to the rape and grooming gangs in the UK, the ones from Muslim nations.

“We are here to raise the alarm about what is happening to our sisters around the world and to tell women in the UK the climate and ecological emergency is your issue – it will affect you as a woman if we do not persuade our government to take urgent action starting now,” Mintram told the Metro.

If that was true, what will this protest do? Instead of yammering and taking their tops off (and some really needed to leave them on) why not do actual work to help? Why is it always Someone Else who must do this?

The climate change protest group has plagued London’s Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) for years, costing the capitol’s police force an estimated  £37 million last year alone. The cost associated with policing Extinction Rebellion was more than double the annual budget for the Violent Crime Taskforce, which is only £15 million.

Imagine what $48.5 million could have been used for to help women in the UK.
