Wacko Judge Blocks Trump EO On Proof Of Citizenship To Vote

Obama-Appointed Judge Strikes Down Trump Order Requiring Proof of Citizenship to Vote in U.S. Elections

A federal judge, appointed by former President Barack Obama, has permanently enjoined an executive order by President Donald Trump that sought to reinforce election integrity by requiring proof of American citizenship to vote in federal elections, among other reforms.

On Tuesday, Judge Denise Casper, appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts by Obama in 2010, ruled that Trump’s executive order demanding that the Election Assistance Commission include a proof-of-American-citizenship requirement in its national mail voter registration form is unconstitutional.

“The Court DECLARES that §§ 2(a), 3(d), 4(a), 7(a) and 7(b) of the Executive Order are unconstitutional and void because they are ultra vires and violate the separation of powers under the United States Constitution,” Casper writes:

The Court PERMANENTLY ENJOINS Defendants, except President Trump, from taking any action to implement or enforce § 2(a) of the Executive Order or otherwise taking any steps to require documentary proof of citizenship as part of the federal mail-in voter registration form provided for in 52 U.S.C. § 20508.

This means a quick trip through the courts, where her “ruling” will most likely be shot down by a court of appeals, and, if not, make it to the Supreme Court. Another wacko from DC ruled the same way back in late October of 2025, so, why bother with another ruling? So if we apply CASA, that means no proof of citizenship only in DC and Massachusetts. Places that overwhelmingly vote Democrat anyhow.

Among other claims, Casper writes that there is no evidence that Trump’s executive order is necessary because “widespread” fraud in American elections seemingly does not exist.

“On the other hand, there is no evidence in this record of widespread ‘illegal voting, discrimination, fraud, and other forms of malfeasance and error’ within American elections, which the Executive Order purports to safeguard against,” Casper writes.

Bank robberies are also rare, but, they’re against the law.

Olympians Take Long Fossil Fueled Trips To D.C., Complain About ‘Climate Change’

In a visit to Capitol, Jessie Diggins and other Olympians push for climate change solutions

Olympian Jessie Diggins visited Capitol Hill with her four medals in hand Wednesday to advocate for clean air, clean water and a healthy planet.

America’s most decorated cross-country skier is part of “Protect Our Winters,” an athlete-driven environmental group that sent a coalition to Washington to meet with lawmakers Tuesday and Wednesday. The group is most concerned with how the Environmental Protection Agency has weakened key climate, water and pollution regulations since President Donald Trump returned to office.

“I don’t want to stick my head in the sand and ignore the world burning,” Diggins said in an interview. “I feel like I have a responsibility to use my voice to advocate for change. And so that’s why it’s so important to me, because I want my great-grandkids to be able to build a snowman and try cross-country skiing someday, and be able go hiking and fishing and camping in the summer, and breathe clean air. I want that for them very badly.”

Diggins retired from professional ski racing this year after earning bronze in the women’s 10?kilometer interval start at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. Many skiers expressed concern during these Olympic Games about climate change and the accelerating melt of the world’s glaciers. A warming world jeopardizes the future of their sport.

Diggins lives in Massachusetts. Did she drive an EV or take the train? Or a fossil fueled airplane? She and the rest of the athletes who went to Italy during the totally normal Modern Warm Period all took fossil fueled flights.

It’s not the typical lobbying group. Professional ski mountaineer Brody Leven only owns a suit to go to Washington with Protect Our Winters. But, he said, they are the ones who can hopefully bring people together around policy solutions to climate change.

“We’re good at looking at adversity in the face and still moving forward,” he said. “And we’re good at knowing something is going to be hard and trying to do it anyways.”

They met with Democrats and Republicans. Olympians Jaelin Kauf, Gus Schumacher, Bea Kim, Julia Kern and Olivia Giaccio were involved, Protect Our Winters said.

Did any of them take the train or EV? Leven came from Utah, as does Kauf. Then we have, in order, Alaska, California, Vermont, and Utah. And not one article I’ve read that is not from the AP, as above, nor the AP article above asked them how they traveled nor mentions their fossil fueled travel.

Supreme Court Sides With Obama Admin On Deporting Green Card Holders

Supreme Court sides with Trump administration in immigration case dealing with green card holders

The Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration Tuesday in an immigration case dealing with the government’s power over green card holders accused of crimes.

Orange Man Bad. Oh, wait

The 6-3 decision centers on an immigration officer’s 2012 decision to put lawful permanent resident Muk Choi Lau on immigration parole when he returned from a short trip to China because he had been accused of a counterfeiting crime.

Wait, 2012? Was Trump president back then?

Lau argued that overstepped the officer’s authority, and the decision wrongly allowed the Department of Homeland Security to swiftly begin deportation proceedings after he pleaded guilty to selling counterfeit clothes in New Jersey.

The high court disagreed. “Border officers did not have the burden to establish by clear and convincing evidence that Lau had committed a crime involving moral turpitude,” Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in the opinion.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson disagreed, writing that the decision to put Lau on immigration parole effectively sentenced him to “immigration limbo” before he’d been convicted of any crime.

“I worry that the Court has now handed the Government a massive blank check,” she wrote in a dissent joined by her two liberal colleagues.

Dumbest justice ever. She yammers about things that are not part of a legal decision.

(Cornell) In September 2007, Muk Choi Lau, a Chinese national, was admitted to the U.S. as an LPR. In May 2012, Lau was charged with third-degree trademark counterfeiting in New Jersey. Before he went to trial, Lau temporarily left the country. Upon his return to the U.S. in June 2012, Lau was not admitted to the U.S. but instead was paroled due to his pending charge. Later, Lau pled guilty to the counterfeiting charge and was sentenced to two years’ probation. In 2014, DHS sought to remove Lau, alleging that since Lau had committed a crime of moral turpitude, he was ineligible to be admitted into the United States upon his return to the country. Lau challenged DHS’s removal efforts, claiming that as an LPR, he was presumptively already admitted into the United States when arriving from his time abroad.

More at that link, and, yes, the Trump DOJ did argue against Lau, as is their job. But, it started under Obama. Obviously, Sotomayor and Kagen voted in favor of the criminal alien.

Teach’s Rules(ish) Of Gym

I’ve been a constant at the gym for about 13 years, average 3-5 times a week, an hour to an hour and a half each time. Here are Random Thoughts in no particular order

  1. If you are going to work out work out. Put in the work.
  2. If you are lifting, lift heavy. Otherwise, you are barely doing cardio
  3. But, you can lift medium, but, you have to do a ton of reps
  4. And, regardless, you need to slow your eccentric. That’s the “gravity” portion. Say you lift a barbell up for biceps. That is the concentric. Now you lower it. That is the eccentric. Don’t let gravity do most of the work. Hold it slowly. Why not get the full workout? Try this with your normal weight. You’ll see you will not be able to do as many reps, but, you will get much better muscle quicker.
  5. I started eccentric’s about 4 months ago, wish I had known this, because I was mostly plateaued since I do not spend hours at a time, mostly just little gains and gains in legs. Where I would do 3 sets of 12 with 85 on a triceps pulldown it is now around 3 of 8. It will work you.
  6. It doesn’t hurt to also just lift heavier with no eccentric here and there.
  7. Have good form. For instance, doing that bicep curl. Your upper arm really should not move. You rotate at elbow up, and then down. I see people swinging weights around and it’s really not doing much.
  8. Know when to take a break, don’t aggravate joints, tendons, etc. Know when it is tender muscle from lifting and when it is something else. I stopped from doing a 3rd set of triceps last Monday after biceps Sunday because of the type of pain. Didn’t make it back till Sunday, partly for elbow and partly work
  9. Work your knees early. Your older self will thank you. Squats should be below 90 degrees. Leg press should bring knees as close to chest as you can. Don’t worry if the weight feels light. No one cares. Exercise them.
  10. A good one is sit downs. A bench or chair that won’t move, where legs are about 90 degrees when sitting. Hold a plate in front of you, doesn’t have to be heavy. Stand up. Now sit down, but, try not to fall down onto bench the last few inches. Control it. Future self will thank you. If you’re already older, like me, you’ll appreciate it.
  11. Clean the damned bench when done. Gym goers really won’t judge you for the weight you’re lifting, the will judge if you don’t clean the machine.
  12. Take a shower before going if you are stinky. Otherwise you suck, and don’t get butthurt when people move away from you
  13. No one is really judging you for the weight you lift, they are cheering you on. They’re happy you are there
  14. Don’t hog equipment. Don’t have 2 benches, 2 sets of dumbells, and an EZ bar. Even if slow
  15. If you’re wearing tight, barely there clothes, men will look. So will lesbians. It’s human nature. You can’t tell me it is comfy. Can’t tell me a thong going up your bunghole is comfy
  16. If you check yourself out in the mirror people will look. Don’t have a hissy fit
  17. If you’re filming and it’s not to observe your form (we can tell from where the camera is located) I’ll walk through your shot many times. OOOPS!
  18. Get shoes with limited padding. You do not want that padding taking the weight. Think shoes like Vans. I have Nike Flex Control 3 now (easier to get 4s at this point). Perfect. Notice that powerlifters where shoes with very little padding.

And, best of all, enjoy yourself.

London Climate Action Week was supposed to be a confab to figure out how to lower emissions. Instead, it’s a textbook example of how the world is being forced to adapt to increasingly extreme heat.

“Our infrastructure is not set up for this temperature,” says Katie Glaze, sustainability director for infrastructure consultancy Brookbanks. She pulled out of around nine sessions on how to adapt buildings for extreme climate due to transport issues. “The irony is that a lot of the conferences I was going to attend, the topic of discussion is what is happening now,” she adds. “It’s all very future-thinking, but we have the situation now that we’re not addressing quickly enough.”

Maybe they’d be set up if their elected leaders weren’t cultist wackjobs who disallow adapting to a typical Holocene warm period

Europe is currently enveloped by an area of slow-moving high-pressure air. This traps warm air like a “lid on a pot” and creates a “heat dome” which blocks other weather fronts, like clouds and rain, from moving through. The air becomes hotter and hotter while the ground also warms, loses moisture, and becomes easier to heat even more. A higher starting temperature amid global warming has intensified the effect.

That’s called weather. So now fuck right off with your doomsday cult crap.

New York City’s socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani did it again.

One year after sending political shock waves across the country with his New York City Democratic primary victory on his way to winning election as mayor of the nation’s most populous city, Mamdani tested the limits of his political powers.

And he easily passed the test, upending the Democratic Party establishment as a trio of Mamdani-endorsed far-left congressional candidates won their primaries over more moderate incumbents and rivals.

Let’s be clear, they are not left wing, they are far to the right in the Authoritarian model. A few in the Theocracy model

The mayor’s most shocking victory came in New York’s 13th Congressional District, where Mamdani-backed candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier, a 32-year-old community organizer and democratic socialist, narrowly topped incumbent Democrat Adriano Espaillat, the 71-year-old Congressional Hispanic Caucus chair and the first Dominican American elected to the U.S. House.

Chevalier’s reported, past and now deleted, social media jabs at former Presidents Barack Obama, whom she called “evil,” and Joe Biden, whom she labeled a “war criminal,” along with her previous support to abolish the police and get rid of prisons, grabbed plenty of attention in recent weeks.

She also wants to abolish ICE and open the borders

In the race to succeed retiring Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez, Mamdani-endorsed state Assembly Member Claire Valdez, who is also aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America, defeated Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso by double digits. Reynoso, who was supported by Velazquez, was downed by more than 20 points.

She’s all in on grooming children, letting them all be fully gender confused, hating on Israel and Jews, abolishing ICE, open borders, hating cops, taking Other People’s money and property.

And a third Mamdani-backed congressional candidate, progressive Brad Lander, crushed incumbent Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman. Lander, the former New York City comptroller, ran against Mamdani last year in the crowded Democratic primary field but became one of his biggest backers in the general election.

Is it? It’s just 4 wins by wacko Socialists in Democrat New York. But, this is the way the Democrat have been going since the start of this century. Climate change will cause Cryptosporidium to drop in some places and spike in others, experts predict

The number of kids who contract a potentially deadly diarrheal disease is projected to decrease in some regions of sub-Saharan Africa while increasing in others due to climate change. However, researchers say illness from Cryptosporidium can be mitigated with improved access to clean drinking water.

Cryptosporidium is the second-most common cause of diarrhea-related deaths among children younger than 5 years, according to an analysis of the 2015 Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study. The single-cell parasite spreads during heavy rainfall, though transmission decreases in warmer weather, making this waterborne disease highly sensitive to climate change. 

Using global climate change models, a study published yesterday in the Journal of Infectious Diseases predicts that by 2055, higher temperatures will cause rates of Cryptosporidium among children to decrease by 16.93% in Siaya County, Kenya and 4.34% in Bamako, Mali. However, they forecast that higher precipitation will drive up transmission in Basse, The Gambia by 24.81%.

Researchers say that improving access to clean drinking water in areas with the highest burden of climate-sensitive health outcomes can lessen the effects of climate change.

So, it’s cause more and less, but, here’s the thing: the climate cult need not have been brought into this at all, when it should really just have been a story about “improved access to clean drinking water”, and then we’d be talking about why decades and decades of foreign aid for this kind of stuff has failed. About where all the money went.

Wacko Judge Issues Nationwide Injunction On Arresting Illegals At Courthouses

Judge blocks Trump administration from arresting immigrants at courts

A federal judge in California issued a nationwide injunction against multiple Trump administration policies, among them one that allowed arrests at immigration courts and another that eliminated the cap on the amount of time an individual arrested for an alleged immigration violation can be detained.

U.S. District Judge P. Casey Pitts in the Northern District of California ruled in a 71-page opinion Tuesday that the policies were arbitrary and violated the Administrative Procedure Act. He said that attorneys for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Executive Office for Immigration Review “failed to provide reasoned explanations for their actions.”

The practice of making arrests at immigration courts began during the Trump administration and enabled federal law enforcement agents to take into custody individuals who were appearing before immigration judges.

There was no argument that Pitts would accept, because he’s an activist. Regardless, the practice has been around a long time, because, get this, illegals tend to be disarmed and in a controlled environment, making it safer to detain them.

Pitts said that “ICE is not arresting individuals who appear for criminal or civil violations ‘unrelated’ to the arrest but instead arresting noncitizens based on the very immigration offenses for which the noncitizens are appearing in immigration court.”

You mean they are in violation of federal immigration laws? Weird. This ruling should be struck down pretty quick, and, the Trump admin can ignore it outside the Northern District of California, based on the CASA ruling. Like this

DC Circuit restores Trump’s expedited deportation policy

A D.C. Circuit panel on Tuesday reversed a federal judge’s order blocking the Trump administration from expanding expedited removal procedures to immigrants who have been in the country under two years.

In a 2-1 decision, the appeals court determined that the Department of Homeland Security’s revival of an identical 2019 policy, which allows the department to exercise its removal power to the “maximum extent allowed by Congress,” does not violate immigrants’ due process.

See, there are these things called Law passed by the Legislative Branch that allow these things to occur.

‘The purpose of the rule is fascism’: scientists fight back against planned Trump research cuts

While waiting to board her flight home at Ronald Reagan Washington national airport recently, Colette Delawalla was reviewing a list of possible impacts from a proposed Trump administration rule on controlling federal money, including grants for research.

Delawalla, the founder of the group Stand Up for Science, had just completed a three-day visit to Capitol Hill, where she met one by one with more than 30 members of Congress, part of a full-court press the organization has launched in recent weeks, sounding the alarm on the office of management and budget (OMB) proposal.

A mother of a toddler, she stopped and thought about the listed example: a clinical trial under way meant to address the issue of parents who become suicidal after an infant death. The trial would likely be made illegal under the new rule, since it includes the sorts of international collaboration the rule prohibits.

It sounds more like the rule is meant to keep all the taxpayer money from flowing out of the country where it can’t be tracked, and ends up basically as slush money.

The rule, proposed by OMB director Russ Vought on 29 May, would place all research and other federal grants under the control of political appointees, rather than scientific or subject-matter experts.

Writing on her Substack, former National Institutes of Health (NIH) program official Elizabeth Ginexi quoted the rule as prohibiting anything that “promote[s] anti-American values”.

“The rule also requires that discretionary awards must ‘… demonstrably advance the president’s policy priorities,’” she added.

Um, why would we fund anything that is against America and American values? Oh, right, so the money can be heavily skimmed off.

In other words, said Delawalla, it would create a “$1.5tn slush fund” under Trump’s control. “The purpose of the rule is fascism,” she told the Guardian.

“It would dismantle the US science ecosystem – but also all federal discretionary grants,” added Delawalla, on the phone from her home in Decatur, Georgia. “It’s huge.”

How is this fascism? She never really explains, it’s just a word she throws around. The Executive Branch has every right to control the taxpayer money it is spending. Hell, they have an obligation and duty to safeguard the money and see that it is spent wisely, something that has long gone out the window.

One veteran Democrat in the House who she preferred not to name told her “you’re just protesters” and that “the executive branch should have the right to cancel grants”.

I’m betting he also told her “go solicit money from the private sector. But, you are going to have to show a return on investment, and you cannot skim off the top.”
