The air becomes hotter and hotter while the ground also warms, loses moisture, and becomes easier to heat even more. A higher starting temperature amid global warming has intensified the effect.

The CO2 comes from the gasoline, natural gas and coal that we humans murn in mass quantities to power our transportation, heat and cool our homes and businesses and power our industries. That the oceans are warming is verified evidence.
That the frequency and intensity of extreme heat waves and prolonged hot seasons have increased significantly is verified evidence.
That the mass of the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets have decreased is verified evidence.
That mean sea levels have increased is verified evidence.
That plants are consistently blooming earlier, and springtime snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere is decreasing is verified evidence.
That many plant and animal species are migrating toward the poles or to higher altitudes as their natural habitats is verified evidence.

Funny-all those things you listed are alleged effects of whatever is doing the warming. Of course the best evidence would be a simple experiment demonstrating the agw theory. Showing how adding more CO2 would cause an object to warm from its own emissions more than a lesser amount. I guess with trillions spent they still need more money to figure that out. What a cult!

The experiment you “describe” has been conducted numerous times. Even 170 years ago..
Eunice Newton Foote (1856): filled glass cylinders with different gases, placed thermometers inside, and set them in the sun. She discovered that the cylinder filled with carbon dioxide became much hotter and took much longer to cool down than the one filled with regular air.
John Tyndall (1859): built a highly precise instrument called a ratio spectrophotometer to measure exactly how gases absorbed heat. Instead of sunlight, he used a hot copper cube as a source of infrared radiation. He proved that while nitrogen and oxygen are transparent to heat, and water vapor act as powerful barriers, absorbing the infrared rays.
