OK, Believers, defend this
Truly disgusting. Exploding kids to push the climate alarmism agenda. Has it come to this, alarmists? Is this what you are about? Following the same playbook as Islamic terrorists? The unhinged Guardian called this “attention getting”
Had a look? Well, I’m certain you’ll agree that detonating school kids, footballers and movie stars into gory pulp for ignoring their carbon footprints is attention-grabbing.
Personally, I call this threatening, psychotic, and unhinged. Luboš Motl Pilsen thinks the authorities should investigate the people behind this video, and further writes
…it was the choice of the 10:10 movement to openly promote genocide. They are not just promoting it: much like in the case of The Fate of the World PC game, they are planning it. They are genuinely planning ways how to reduce the global CO2 emissions by 10% a year. And indeed, genocide similar to what they present in the video (or in the game) is the only plausible way how something of the sort may be achieved.
What were they thinking? They weren’t, because this is going to have the exact opposite effect they intended it to have. I don’t have words to describe my disgust with the video.
What’s fascinating, reading this kind of thing, is seeing just how far removed from reality the green movement has gone. Kyoto is dead. Copenhagen was a flop. Cancun is going to make a mockery of all those green dreams about global carbon emissions legislation. And how do the environmentalists respond?
By force of argument?
By presenting new evidence which supports their cause?
Nope.
By threatening to blow up anyone who disagrees with them.
No Frakking Consensus points out that the original video release on Youtube has been set to private, probably due to the outrage.
Go ahead, alarmists: defend this. Defend exploding kids for your beliefs.
Oh, hey, BTW, I wonder how much electricity was used to make this travesty, and how much CO2 it put out.
