Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich defied his party leadership on Monday by calling for the impeachment of U.S. President George W. Bush for launching the Iraq war — but his move was not expected to go anywhere.
The Ohio representative outlined his intention to propose more than two dozen charges against Bush on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

An Ohio Democratic lawmaker and former presidential candidate has presented articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush to Congress.
Thirty-five articles were presented by Rep. Dennis Kucinich to the House of Representatives late Monday evening, airing live on C-SPAN.
“The House is not in order,” said Kucinich to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), upon which Pelosi pounded her gavel.
“Resolved,” Kucinich then began, “that President George W. Bush be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate. …
Apparently, Kucinich cited Raw Story as source material several times. Wacko’s, all wacko’s. No point in even considering being nice to these raving lunatics, both at Raw Story and Dennis Kucinich.
My first inclination was to say something really mean about Mr. Kucinich, but I have decided to just comment that we should all pray for him to turn from his evil ways!!
How about sending the entire Bush family Dad and wife both George, and Jeb and their entire families, Cheney and his entire family including Obama if in fact they really are related, the entire Bush administration and any one else who thinks that Bush is doing a fine job to Iraq so they could fight a war that they seem to be justified. These people disgust me and have taken this great country down the path of distruction for us all except for the loyal Republican Bandits that they are. And be sure to send all their children who are of age to fight a war and send them to Iraq without any armour and have Bush and Cheney buy armour for them personally. Republicans make me sick. The only good think about me being sick is that I’m 70 years old and just being sick is a plus. It beats dying. So in order for the odds to be equal send their children to fight in their war.
