Excitable Andy, Mr. Conservative, Wuvs The Missiah!

I really hope, for Michelle Obama’s sake, that Andrew Sullivan is kept away from the Missiah, cause I think he wants Barack’s baby*

If I needed reassurance that this man is the most formidable force in American politics today, his speech tonight confirmed it…..

One more thing: with McCain’s and Clinton’s speeches, you could not forget the politics of it. With Obama, you forgot about that at times. You actually lifted your eyes a little and believed a little and hoped a little.

Yes, he can. And anyone who under-estimates that will regret it.

Wait a moment: isn’t Sullivan “been a major conservative voice in U.S. politics for 15 years“? Anyone want to bet that sometime in the next 2 months Excitable Andy comes out and endorses Obama, who gives him the vapors?

You gotta love that part about lifting your eyes. Missiah indeed!

*That is not a slap at Andrew being gay. I would write that same thing even if he wasn’t.

He already has endorsed Obama. How could you have not figured that out by now?

I think Sullivan is right. Those who underestimate Obama will regret it. He has a very good chance of becoming the next President.

  2. I know the post you are referring to, in which people say that Andy endorsed Obama (http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200712/obama) but he hasn’t yet come out specifically and endorsed Obama, unless you have seen something I haven’t.

Anyhow, how does a person who states that they are a Conservative endorse the most liberal Dem in the Senate? Means they are no longer a conservative.

I thought you just said he didn’t?

Means they are no longer a conservative.

I think it is a reaction to the current administration – one that is anything but conservative.

  4. In case you and Andy missed it, George Bush 43 is not running for re-election. And, if we are talking conservative, Barack NMN Obama is exactly 180 degrees at the other end of the spectrum. Hell, Obama is so liberal that he makes Bush look like a Reagan conservative!
