The fatal execution-style shootings of three college students in Newark this summer sparked a nationwide debate on immigration after police said the prime suspect was an illegal alien free on bail for a child sex assault charge.
But New Jersey’s attitude toward illegal immigrants barely budged after the August shooting, according to a Monmouth University/ Gannett New Jersey Newspapers poll. More than half of the respondents say illegal immigrants are about as likely as legal ones to commit crimes.
New Jersey residents "don’t see the types of people who are trying to come to this country illegally as part of a criminal element," said Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute. "The actions of one individual are seen as the actions of one individual."
I’m ashamed to say I grew up in NJ, and the parental units, as well as many friends, are still there. What kind of crime is going to wake these people up?
Staying in NJ
Do you think illegal immigrants are more likely, less likely, or about as likely as other New Jerseyans to commit violent crimes?

So, what does this tell us? Well, it does tell us New Jerseyans think they are a pretty lawless bunch. Such a good "Blue" state. It also reinforces that they are clueless about illegal immigration, or just want to make sure their lawns are maintained.
Moving to Georgia
Hispanic immigrants in Prince William County are launching a one-day work stoppage today to protest the county’s moves to toughen immigration enforcement and deny services to illegal residents.
The event is designed to show the economic force of legal and illegal immigrants who call the area home, supporters said. It caps a public campaign against a resolution, passed by the county board in July, to crack down on illegal immigrants.
Great. I hope the cops and ICE are there to arrest the illegals while so many are visible and in the same place. However, the article shows the liberal bias, as it is not about immigrants, or even migrant workers: it is, again, about illegal immigrants and those who overstay their visas.

A Whitfield County magistrate judge said she didn’t know a Dalton man charged with sexual exploitation of children might be an illegal alien when she set his bond last Saturday at $25,000.
The charge involves possession of child pornography including computer pornography with explicit acts involving children.
“Unfortunately, the guy bonded out and probably is not around any more,†Peluso said, adding he isn’t sure if the system broke down or not.
Officers say they do not know where Ruiz-Pineda is now.
“We actually did go out and try to find this guy, but he’s gone,†Peluso said.
Great. This is what liberal sensitivity causes.

Since when does the Bill of Rights apply to illegal, non-residents of the U.S.? The ACLU should have stuck with an argument of their beloved ‘international law’ violations instead of insult our Bill of Rights. Furthermore, once an individual touches U.S. soil illegally they are a criminal in violation of U.S. immigration laws.
Since the ACLU and most of the Libtards have never read the Bill of Rights (I’m referring to the American one, of course), most of them are just guessing. Or wishing. Or hoping. It all depends on who they are talking to, since they really have no deeply held convictions.
