10:10 Movement Says “Go Green Or We’ll Kill Your Kids”

OK, Believers, defend this

Truly disgusting. Exploding kids to push the climate alarmism agenda. Has it come to this, alarmists? Is this what you are about? Following the same playbook as Islamic terrorists? The unhinged Guardian called this “attention getting”

Had a look? Well, I’m certain you’ll agree that detonating school kids, footballers and movie stars into gory pulp for ignoring their carbon footprints is attention-grabbing.

Personally, I call this threatening, psychotic, and unhinged. Luboš Motl Pilsen thinks the authorities should investigate the people behind this video, and further writes

…it was the choice of the 10:10 movement to openly promote genocide. They are not just promoting it: much like in the case of The Fate of the World PC game, they are planning it. They are genuinely planning ways how to reduce the global CO2 emissions by 10% a year. And indeed, genocide similar to what they present in the video (or in the game) is the only plausible way how something of the sort may be achieved.

Anthony Watts

What were they thinking? They weren’t, because this is going to have the exact opposite effect they intended it to have. I don’t have words to describe my disgust with the video.

James Delingpole

What’s fascinating, reading this kind of thing, is seeing just how far removed from reality the green movement has gone. Kyoto is dead. Copenhagen was a flop. Cancun is going to make a mockery of all those green dreams about global carbon emissions legislation. And how do the environmentalists respond?

By force of argument?

By presenting new evidence which supports their cause?

Nope.

By threatening to blow up anyone who disagrees with them.

No Frakking Consensus points out that the original video release on Youtube has been set to private, probably due to the outrage.

Go ahead, alarmists: defend this. Defend exploding kids for your beliefs.

Oh, hey, BTW, I wonder how much electricity was used to make this travesty, and how much CO2 it put out.

This is just and example of exactly how greenies feel.
They ought to run the ad; it’s simply giving us truth in advertising.
They want every human to either off themself, be offed, or join their little circle of mindless wackjobs.
They don’t want honest solutions to keep the world clean.
They don’t want to develop cleaner safer ways to extract oil and coal.
They don’t want to use already green technology (Nukes, Solar and Wind)
They don’t want us to eat meat, fish or dairy products.
They’d be happy to blow up the livestock around the world too.
They. Are. Not. Right. In. The. Head.

  2. David says:

The video is much more revealing than one would think. It shows to me that if you don’t believe in the progressive agenda, then you should die. I think Hitler was a big advocate of that type of policy. Remember that this is not really about the climate but more with wealth distribution and destruction of the Western economy.

By the way, does England still have the freedom to choose which light blubs they can buy? Notice how our freedoms, even small, are beginning to desipate.

  3. Duncan says:

Reminds me of the falling polar bears from the sky crap they attempted as well.

This is somewhat disturbing in that they are actually fantasizing about killing dissenters…. but I’m not surprised.

    Disturbed.

    Not surprised.

  4. John Ryan says:

OMG !!! Teach do you consider this threat to be serious ? So you think many people do ? Should we all run and hide ?

  5. Paul says:

I’m not a defender, but I’m guessing by the standards of this site I’m something of an environmentalist. I can’t defend this at all, for even a second. The best that could be said is that they’re utter morons, and I’d say that’s being way too generous.

I imagine the people here are ardently pro-American. I’ve heard of people that are similarly enthusiastic in their love for country call for all manner of objectionable things, including the death of the President (and not just this one), blowing up Federal buildings, etc. Would the folks here defend them, or would they say they’re whack-jobs, who maybe have taken a thin strand of a right idea and twisted it beyond all recognition?

  6. And there we go, folks, John attempts to defend this filth. Shocking.

You’re exactly correct, Trish, the climate alarmists aren’t in it to make the world a better place, their in it for the power and control.

It’s what they do best, David.

Well, remember all the Bush assassination fantasies, Duncan? The hard left loves them. Fortunately, they don’t have the cajones to really try.

Paul, I’m an environmentalist myself. Have always been. I believe in clean air, water, and land. I love the outdoors, love going to the mountains and the beach, hitting the lake to do some fishing, maybe traveling a bit and fishing in some streams to the northwest of Raleigh. Nature is awesome. It pisses me off beyond belief when I see litter around. That said, I lost my belief in anthropogenic warming long ago, and I sincerely wish the environmental movement would divorce itself from the climate alarmist movement. I want clean energy. I want wind, solar, hydrothermal. I also want nuclear. Not a big fan of coal, including clean coal (I’m not convinced about it). If we could do away with oil, and replace it with something clean that provides the power, I’m all for it.

People who call for the death of our President and blow up federal buildings should prosecuted. They are horrid people, and for years now I have called out those who called for the death of a president. That president was George Bush, of which the left had many fantasies, including movies, about his death. If righties call for Obama’s death, I will call them out, too. I have delinked several blogs for going nuts like that. As far as Tim McVeigh and his cohorts, he was so far to the right as to have no link with the Conservative movement. And, he deserved what he got: the death penalty.

Don’t forget, it was Obama’s buddy Bill Ayers who was involved also in blowing up government buildings and killing Americans, a guy who “wished that he had done more.”

  7. David says:

    Paul,
First, I have never, ever heard of a conservatives desiring to kill the president. You might find such stuff at the liberal sites.

As to blowing up Federal buildings, well that is what happens when some people take offense to burning innocent people alive or killing a family with snipers. They have a tendency to go to extremes when the government gets out of control.

As to the future, my grandfather fought in WWI for freedom. My father was in WWII for freedom. I was in line to go the Vietnam for freedom before the merciful saint, Nixon, stopped the draft. We are currently fighting for freedom in Iraq. Now the question is when do we start fighting to regain our freedom here? The precident has already been set that violence can be used to establish freedom. Many are beginning to believe that the freedom is no longer here. What do you feel? I personally would like my region to secede once again. Would you allow us to go in peace?

  10. Right, because we all know that comedy is about killing kids for not believing in globull warming.
