Woo hoo, here’s a project we can all get behind! New Campaign Suggest You Should Vote Naked
You’ve heard of voting early and often in Chicago, but casting your ballot naked? A new get-out-the-vote campaign is suggesting you do just that.
The point of the campaign is that Illinois state law now permits people to vote by mail. That means technically, you don’t even have to have clothes on to fill out your ballot.
The non-partisan Vote Naked Illinois project is a joint effort by Equality Illinois, Roosevelt University, and Rock the Vote.
Aw, damn, should have read the article first. Seriously, this would have made it really fun at the polling places. Where would people put their buttons? Maybe it could be like the old days, when people wore hats? Minus the pants and stuff, of course.
