Canadian Police Investigate After Hamas Supporters Hijab Yanked Off

The Canadian police aren’t quite so thorough in going after those who threaten Jews. It happens, but, not with the same zeal

Police investigate after woman’s hijab pulled off at pro-Palestinian demonstration

The Ottawa Police Service’s hate crime and bias unit is investigating after a woman’s hijab was pulled off during a demonstration outside an Israel Independence Day ceremony at city hall.

The May 14 incident was captured on video and has since been shared widely on social media.

Hayfa Abdelkhaleq, who identified herself to CBC as the woman in the video, said she’s still shaken by what happened.

“I feel really down. She humiliated me. I can’t sleep normal, I can’t eat normal, I’m not functioning normally,” she said.

Do you know who else isn’t functioning normally? All the Jews killed in the October 7th Hamas attack. As Hyfa is wearing an Intifada keffiyeh, she probably approves with the slaughter of Jews.

In the video, Abdelkhaleq can be seen waving a large Palestinian flag with the words “Free Palestine” on it. She’s heard chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

If a Jewish protester was saying kick the Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank, they’d be arrested, tried, and jailed under Canadian law.

Another person enters the frame and shows their middle finger to the camera before reaching out and pulling off Abdelkhaleq’s hijab.

In an unblurred version of the video reviewed by CBC, Abdelkhaleq’s hijab is entirely removed from her head, revealing her hair.

Head to the link to see the short video, where they literally blur Hayfa’s head after the hijab, an article of clothing of female subjugation in Islam, was slightly pulled off.

After composing herself, Abdelkhaleq said she tried to follow the person, whom she saw join the flag-raising ceremony. She said she told a police officer who was monitoring the event about what happened.

Shortly after, Abdelkhaleq said she filed a police report and was connected to someone from the police’s hate crime and bias unit.

She was also told to go back home. Here’s a question: was this staged? I really wouldn’t be surprised.

In an email, Ottawa police said they’re treating what happened to Abdelkhaleq as a hate-motivated incident.

The suspect still hasn’t been identified, police said. They’re still investigating and are looking to anyone who may have seen what happened or might have more information.

Why aren’t the police investigating Hayfa for a hate crime, as she is specifically calling for the destruction of the Jewish state and killing Jews? Her Facebook is littered with this

As someone born and raised in Nablus in the West Bank, Abdelkhaleq said she remains committed to supporting the Palestinian cause.

They never really assimilate. People used to come to Western nations to be a part of them. Now they refuse to give up their own cultures and demand we change for them.

Jewish women don’t wear the hijab or burkha or any of the other types of things that the feminist-supported Muslims push their women into. Some Orthodox or Hassidic women wear wigs to cover their own hair, and dress modestly, but they’re not under the same kinds of restrictions as women in Muslim countries. I s’pose that, if Jewish women were participating in the same types of Mostly Peaceful Protests as the Muslims and their fellow travelers are doing, a wig might get dislodged, but that’s about it.

    • H says:

Sorry Dana but SOME Jewish women do wear a hajib.
In fact the most Orthodox Jews in Israel the
Haredi, wear burkhas that cover themselves completely just as the most conservative Arab Muslims and Afghani women. World wide about 1/3 of Muslim wear head scarves. Large Jewish cults/sects in the USA also force their women to shave their heads and then wear wigs. These are the same sects/cults that force women to sit in the back of some of our publicly subsidized nudes My own mother had to wear both hats and veils while attending Catholic church, to avoid provoking men
Some people like Mr Teach confuse Muslims as being arabs, most are not. The Arab/Muslims are our fossil fuel masters, but are a small fraction of Muslims worldwide.

      • Dana says:

John, I have been to Jerusalem, and I have seen plenty of Orthodox and Haredi women, both of whom are obvious by their dress, and I never saw, not even once, any woman wearing a hijab or burkha. Even in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City, I never saw a woman wearing a burkha.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

While Mr Dana’s eyewitness evidence is interesting, there are many photos of Haredi women in Jerusalem wearing burqas.

The increasingly irrational Mr Teach not only defends assaulting Muslim women but advocates it!

“Brave” conservative men like the little wiener in the video are actually cowards. Notice the belligerent little conservative pussy didn’t pull a keffiyeh off a man. Wonder why? LOL.

How would “Mr” Teach react if a Muslim man pulled off a Roman Catholic nun’s habit? The habit is forced upon nuns by the proudly misogynistic and pedophilic Catholic church.

  4. Elwood P. Dowd says:

BTW, the increasingly shrill “Mr” Teach claims all pro-Palestinian protesters are pro-Hamas and Jew-hating.

Every Israeli can be excused for hating Hamas, just as every Palestinian crammed into Rafah can be excuses for hating the Israeli government. That observation may be too subtle for “Mr” Teach.

The black-white keffiyeh was a symbol of Arab nationalism from the 1930s, and was popularized by PLO leader Yasser Arafat in the 70s and 80s.

    • Dana says:

      The distinguished Mr Dowd wrote:

BTW, the increasingly shrill “Mr” Teach claims all pro-Palestinian protesters are pro-Hamas and Jew-hating.

The “pro-Palestinian protesters” are pro-Hamas! In Gaza, the ‘Palestinians’ are Hamas, and Hamas are the ‘Palestinians.’

The black-white keffiyeh was a symbol of Arab nationalism from the 1930s, and was popularized by PLO leader Yasser Arafat in the 70s and 80s.

And wearing the black-and-white keffiyeh is qualitatively the same as wearing a Nazi swastika armband.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The devoted Mr Dana cloaks his disdain for Muslims in his accusation of them all being pro-Hamas, that is, pro-murder, rape and torture of Israelis. Like Mr Teach he’s entitled to his opinion, but we disagree with their “reasoning”. Not all Israelis and American Jews support the Palestinian genocide plans of Israel. Would Mr Dana characterize all Israelis and Americans as tolerating or even supporting genocide?

We may concede that TODAY a black and white keffiyeh presents the same message of a right-winger wearing a Nazi armband -hatred of Jews. Mr Dana was wise to insert the qualifier “qualitatively” when comparing the systematic murder of 6 million Jews by the Nazis to the vile actions of Hamas. He would no doubt concede that the motivations of the Hamas rapists and murderers was clearer than that of the Nazis. Right or wrong, Hamas feels their actions were justified by the oppression of Palestinians by Israel. We believe the actions of Hamas were not justified. Amoral and wantonly cruel terrorist attacks, besides being pure evil are counterproductive. The sociopathic behaviors of Nazis, al qaeda/Saudis, Japanese, Pol Pot, Hamas, Dylann Roof did not accomplish their objectives.

The hijab specifically is only for Muslims. The Quran has verses which are interpreted as it containing specific instructions about how women should dress. They do. Jewish men wear kippahs and Jewish women often wear wigs in the synagogue because they interpret the Torah as to say they should cover their head and or hair. No Jew wears hijab. They are particularly Muslim.

Once again an atheist trying to tell people about religion.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr Brandon agrees that various religions have beliefs that most of us identify as silly. Women should cover their hair!! LOL.

He points out that the head coverings required by the First 5 Books of the Bible, i.e., Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy (aka the Torah) have a different name than the head coverings required in the Quran. Yawn.

Anyway, many Christian sects require head coverings for women – kapp and bonnet (Amish, Mennonite, Schwarzenau Brethren, River Brethren, and Conservative Quaker sects), hanging veil (among many Mennonites, Hutterites and Charity Christians), and church crown/hat (in the Southern United States). The Catholic Church officially dropped the requirement for women to “cover” or “veil” in 1983.

Hmmm, Mr Brandon knows a lot about the Jewish religion…

He slurs Dr Anthony Fauci as a “guinea” but refuses to discuss his own ancestry. What’s he hiding?

My ancestors came from Western Europe (England, Scotland, Ireland, France) a few hundred years ago. Solid Caucasian Christian stock!!

      • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

I never use the word silly in describing beliefs of religions. But maybe I’ll start now thanks for the suggestion.

I said nothing about the first five books of the Bible I didn’t even mention them. I’m merely repeated what I read on Wikipedia that Jews do not wear hajibs. H had stated that they do. That’s all that entire comment was about.

I don’t know a lot about the Jewish religion but I had a very close Jewish friend until he died five years ago for my entire life. I was at his bar mitzvah I was at his wedding I was one of his closest friends for his whole life so I picked up on some stuff that’s all I’m not an expert on anything like that. I realize you’re an expert on everything so there’s no way I could make you think I’m an expert. By the way I also had another very close friend who was a Guinea.

The subject of my ancestry never came up here, but I’m German. I think my mother had some Scottish in her too but most of my blood is Kraut. Nothing rare or impressive. My family has also been here since the 1600s. I’m what you call indigenous. And they were all Lutherans too. Straight, white, Christians everything you hate.

  6. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Caucasian, Christian, Conservatives blame non-Christian, non-Caucasians for most of America’s problems. Black, brown, red, yellow need not apply! Being Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, agnostic or atheist is a no-no!! As of now, Caucasian, Christian Conservatives tolerate Jews as long as they are fighting the hated Muslims!!

The CCC Republicuns desire a white, Christian, conservative straight America – they’re building a bridge (a wall?) to the 19th Century, LOL.

The CCC-RNC strategy is to frighten lower-information white voters into voting against their own self interest. After all, the lib/Dem/commies are trying to replace you with negroes, Mexicans and Muslims!!

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

You constantly seem to wanna speak for what Caucasian Christian conservatives believe even though you aren’t one. You claim we blame non Christian conservative and Caucasians for most of America’s problems. I could see how an ignorant observer could say that. And you being an ignorant observer have.

Unlike you I don’t speak for every conservative Christian Caucasian. I speak only for myself. The only people I have stated should not apply are communists, Nazis, anarchists, atheists, and Muslims. And all of those groups have a philosophical hatred of the United states of American people and therefore should not be here. And I think that’s a perfectly reasonable thing to believe. You never tolerate your enemy.

And we are building a bridge. A bridge to a better far more enlightened future made-up of people that love our country and our culture that was originally dreamt of by the straight Christian Caucasians that originally founded and built this country. LOL

Nobody is trying to frighten low information white voters into voting against their own self-interest. Their self-interest is a more peaceful more secure America the way it was designed to be. The only people that I see creating a fuss right now are leftist marching in the streets with their Muslim friends, communists anarchists and other miscreants that are unneeded in our culture. You know as well as I know that the people you support cause problems that people I support don’t bother anybody unless they are bothered them.

And you are trying to replace us and people like us with all kinds of colored minorities from around the world you have nothing in common with us. Not culturally not physically not aesthetically not socially not historically absolutely nothing in common with us. That means they are not us and they will never be us. The only reason to bring people from third world and communist countries to here is to create a third world communist country here. It can’t be because we’re bringing in engineers and psychiatrists and doctors and physicists. We’re bringing in dishwashers and car wash workers and lawn mowers and people like that. We already have people like that we pay them to be on welfare and unemployment so that we can bring in these other people and replace them. It’s what you’re doing you can lie about it but it is what you’re doing. You hate America you hate Americans especially white Christian Americans are you playing on phasing us out which is why you’re given the right to vote to non citizens. It’s also the reason you’re bringing in millions upon millions of illegal people from other countries so that they can get more seats in the house and more votes in the Electoral College. Don’t lie it doesn’t become you

yes you are going to be replaced. You are going to die. And white birth ate is dropping fast.

The “we will not be replaced” is the meme of the ultra right/neonazis in America. Are you now openly repeating what they chant at rallies?

They also believe that the Jews/Globalists are the ones doing this “replacement” SOROS funding the military aged migrants OMG

They are taking American Jobs!!! remember that one? well unemployment is still less than 4% plenty of work for all who WANT to work
(although red states unemployment IS higher because they are so obese they have trouble working)

LOL I thought conservatives would WELCOME people fleeing from communist countries? When did that change?

Non citizens are prohibited from voting in Federal elections by a law passed in 1996.

the recent migrants are about 3% of our current population
that scares the shit out of LG Brandon. WTF? have you no jam in your sack?

Hamas does not wear black and white scarves, those are Fatah/PLO

    From Wiki
Traditional black and white keffiyehs became associated with Fatah. Later, red and white keffiyehs were adopted by Palestinian Marxists, such as the PFLP.[15] Because of its association with Fatah, in April 2021, Hamas arrested students and staff at Al-Azhar University for wearing the keffiyeh.[16]

Hamas arrested college students in Gaza for wearing those. And remember Bibi is now asking the PLO to take over Gaza so he can end his failed attempt to destroy Hamas. Like the USA in Afghanistan, Israel has failed to remember the lesson from the story of Br’er Rabbit and the Tar Baby.
