Democrats Are Racing To Explain Their “Historic” Bill Or Something

It should be very interesting to watch them attempt to explain how a bill called the Inflation Reduction Act does nothing to reduce the cost of food, energy, clothes, and other essential goods and services

Biden signs climate and health care bill. Now, Democrats race to explain its benefits

With a few strokes of a pen on Tuesday, President Joe Biden turned Democrats’ hard-fought climate and health care spending legislation from a bill into a law.

“It’s about showing the American people that democracy still works, notwithstanding all the talk of its demise,” Biden said. “This is a godsend.”

He called the package “one of the most significant laws in our history,” stressing more than once that every Republican in Congress opposed the bill.

Democrats now face the difficult task of explaining to Americans how they will benefit from the legislation – and when – before this fall’s midterm elections, with voting beginning as early as next month in some states.

All we’ve seen from just about every single article on the IRA is about it being about climate, taxes, and health. Look at the headline for the USA Today article.

The White House says it will launch a series of videos breaking down the legislation’s benefits to average Americans and encourage internet influencers to share content about the law on their social media channels.

Members of Biden’s Cabinet will visit nearly two dozen states in August to sell the plan to the public, the White House said in a Monday memo outlining its strategy.

How do you explain to the working and middle class voters that it does zero to help them with inflation? You might get a little relief on medicine pricing within a few years. That doesn’t really help when people are unable to afford many types of quality food. How do they explain the tax hikes, which will boomerang back on consumers and employees? Will any news outlet ask the tough question, which is “how will this reduce inflation?”

ABC News has a piece up about how it will save you, and includes this graphic from the calculator from the far left climate scam group Rewiring America

So, if you spend $27k, you can save $1,130! Sounds like a bargain! Do Democrats really think this is going to entice the middle and working classes? Parents are spending lots more on back to school clothes and goods.

Outside leftist groups are also planning on spending a whole lot on ads

In plans shared first with POLITICO, a trio of Democratic groups — Climate Power, the League of Conservation Voters and Future Forward USA Action, a nonprofit backed by several major Democratic donors — is dropping $10 million on a national TV ad campaign to define the legislation in the minds of voters. It’s the largest paid ad effort to bolster the legislation so far, as an array of Democratic groups and candidates kick off a 90-day sprint to promote the package and defy a brutal electoral environment for the party.

“The magnitude, the scope and the importance of what Congress and Biden just did for climate change is transformational … and it is essential that people understand the magnitude of what just happened,” said Pete Maysmith, senior vice president of campaigns at the League of Conservation Voters. He predicted that Republicans would try to mislead voters about the bill, and “we can’t sit around and wait for that to happen. We need to aggressively tell this story.”

Good luck explaining how this reduces inflation, and how it hooks up the rich, while attempting to force the non-rich into vehicles they cannot afford.

Fast food joints are packed. Grocery stores crowded. Sit-down restaurants too. Men are still driving their F-150-350s. Major league baseball is filling the ballparks. Casinos are crowded. Highways packed. Airliners too. Golf courses crowded.

People seem to be finding a way.

Maybe the nuCons/nuGOPs are most concerned for impoverished Americans – those that Republicans feel should pay higher taxes. Perhaps you’re worried for the poor rural impoverished or the inner city poor?

THey are -unlike liberals, who proclaim their support while raising their costs – like this idiotic bill will do.

Leftist democommies (thanks LG) have been in charge of almost every institution in America for decades. If there is any disparity of wealth it is their fault. They are controlling Congress, they make the tax code and they just passed a tax law that will hurt the middle class and poor while saving the rich tons of tax money. They allow millions of illegals in to ravage our resources and eat up the support structure for our own poor.

I seem to recall another useless bill passed without any Republicans on board back when he was VP.
