Gibbs States Reporters Should Ask About Obama’s Donors

It looks like the White House is not going to let go of the Chamber of Commerce smear, something that is making many Democrats very nervous. Here’s Gibbs at the Tuesday PC

Gibbs was asked if it bothered him that several news organizations, from the New York Times to the Associated Press and also FactCheck.org, have published reports dismissing the accusation against the Chamber.

“It doesn’t bother me at all,” Gibbs said. “If I was an enterprising reporter … I might ask the Chamber of Commerce to let me see their donors.”

Perhaps some enterprising reporter might ask Gibbs about all the foreign donations Obama received during the 2008 cycle, donations which he has refused to release the records on. How Obama actively solicited them. I’ll tell you what, Gibbs: why don’t we have that conversation next year, say, right after January 20th, in a House meeting room? Is that good for you? You know, if you want to continue down this road.

Absolutely. That 2008 website was deliberately set up to accept illegal donations, and it worked spectacularly.

    Investigations? Oh HELL yes!

Gibbs will be in the doghouse…

should foreign corporations be allowed to contribute to campaign fundraising in the USA ? Should the Saudis be allowed to contribute? And if they do will not they choose to go with their fellow social conservatives ?

  4. No, they shouldn’t, and you should ask your buddy Obama to stop taking foreign campaign money. Which was documented. Furthermore, you should pony up some actual proof that the Chamber is using foreign money for campaign ads. Do you have any?

Funny joke there Teach. You are hilarious. OMG.. that was LMAO!!!!

  6. Yeah, I know, I know. I did actually email Jake Tapper, who is about the only close to fair WH reporter out there to ask the question.

Yeah, and you see how much support and sympathy WND reporters get from the WH spokesperson AND the press pool!?!??

True reporters (investigative journalists) are a dying breed. They are very few and hard to find. They are marginalized and even brow-beaten by their “peers”.
