Here It Comes: Obama To Push Amnesty On Thursday

For all his talk of law and order and securing the border and “Doing Something,” you just knew this would hit the fan at some point. And, as the LA Times points out, we could end up with a lame duck session of Congress come November, with Democrats trying to ram entirely unpopular legislation (well, more of it) down the American publics throat. Anyhow

On Thursday morning, the president will put the issue before the American public. In a speech at American University, he plans to make the case for providing a path to legal status for the estimated 11 million people who live in the U.S. illegally while strengthening border enforcement.

Later on Thursday, I plan to make a case that we should legalize identity theft. Why stop there? Let’s legalize drug trafficing, rape, and murder. Hey, a crime’s a crime, so, why should we excuse one crime, and not another? Oh, they aren’t the same? Huh. They’re still crime, and illegals bring quite a bit of it.

Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez (D-Ill.), who was part of the Hispanic Caucus meeting with Obama, said in an interview: “He’s going to speak to the nation on Thursday and tell the country why it’s important to have comprehensive immigration reform. That’s something we’ve been demanding of this administration.”

So, all you folks who want to come to the US the legal way, well, you can all just suck it.

Lot’s more in the article, and, if I get going, this post will be very, very long. Read it all.
