Folks, you just cannot make this stuff up:
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan – A suspected suicide bomber detonated explosives in his car near a U.S. military vehicle Monday in southern Afghanistan, wounding four Americans in the latest assault on coalition forces, a U.S. military spokesman said.
Suspected. Was he in the car? Yes? Then he is no longer suspected. Not quite sure what world Noor Khan (the writer) is living in, but it is probably the same as the rest of the "reality based community."
And the 4 GI’s killed per the headline? That same paragraph refutes the headline, and furthermore
He (General Salim Khan) said at least three American troops were killed, but the U.S. military said no U.S. troops had died.
Read the rest of the article. NOWHERE does it state that 4 US soldiers died, except the headline.
