Surprise? Illegal Alien Who Murdered Three Was One Of Obama’s DACA Recipients

I wonder if Obama feels any remorse? Or the Democrats who backed DACA? How about the media, which also backed DACA? Will the media ask Mr. Obama any pointed, tough questions?

Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Three Was a DACA Recipient

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson told the Springfield News-Leader that Luis Rodrigo Perez, 23, a Mexican national accused of killing three people in Missouri after jail officials released him on domestic violence charges in New Jersey, was a recipient of the DACA program in 2012 and 2014.

It is unclear whether he was no longer eligible or did not re-apply for the program in 2016. Illegal aliens who came to the U.S. as children can qualify for DACA, but felony or significant misdemeanor convictions are grounds for disqualification from the program.

ICE spokesperson Shawn Neudauer said before Perez was accused of murder, he was arrested in Middlesex County in December 2017 on suspicion of aggravated assault, assault, and child abuse.

And this is exactly why DACA was a bad idea: the Obama admin was simply giving executive amnesty to illegal aliens without truly vetting them, all in the hopes that the status would be normalized, which would also mean that their parents wouldn’t be deported.

This same illegal was released by a sanctuary jurisdiction

ICE Acting Executive Associate Director Corey Price said Friday that federal immigration officials placed a detainer on Perez while in the New Jersey jail, but jail officials did not honor the request and did not let ICE know when he was released.

But Middlesex County officials say its ICE’s fault the detainer was not honored because the agency’s request did not meet specific criteria, adding that the federal immigration agency never requested to deport Perez while he was in jail.

ICE has slammed Middlesex County in the past for their “sanctuary” policies, especially after the federal immigration agency arrested 37 criminal illegal aliens in the area in July.

Middlesex is just making excuses. Because they would have let the illegal go regardless. I’ll write again, it’s beyond time for the detainer system to become formal warrants. Then all the sanctuary jurisdictions would have to comply.

Neil Young Blames Trump For Losing His House Due To ‘Climate Change’

Neil Young Blames ‘So-Called President’ Donald Trump After Losing His Home in the California Wildfires

By Sunday, the devastating wildfires across California were only 25 percent contained as the death toll rose to 31 across the state. An estimated 200 people still remain missing, and in response to the disaster, President Donald Trump took the opportunity to blame California’s “gross mismanagement of the forests” for the mass destruction.

Hundreds of structures have been destroyed in the fires; among them is Neil Young’s home. On his website, Young called out Trump for his refusal to believe in climate change.

“California is vulnerable – not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think. We are vulnerable because of climate change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it,” Young wrote. “Imagine a leader who defies science, saying these solutions shouldn’t be part of his decision-making on our behalf. Imagine a leader who cares more for his own, convenient option than he does for the people he leads. Imagine an unfit leader. Now imagine a fit one.”

On one hand, Trump should have not dropped that tweet. There are times when it’s best not to do what he does, don’t send the tweets. Even if he was right.

On the other hand, what, exactly, was Trump supposed to do in the 1 3/4 years he’s been in office? Nothing Obama did during his 8 years in office made a difference, especially since large parts of California have always been dry and windy, making them prone to turning small wildfires in to massive blazes.

I’ll hold off in calling Neil a “so-called” musician. He’s made a lot of records in his life, but, has there really been anything good since the release of Live Rust in 1979, which is one of the best live rock albums ever? I’d put it in the top 10, along with ones like Rush’s Exit…Stage Left, The Band’s Last Waltz, Jimmy Buffett’s Feeding Frenzy, and a few others. Anyhow, Yahoo decides to drop a whopper

Even firefighters are blaming the blaze on climate change. In a press conference, Los Angeles Fire Chief Daryl Osby said, “The fact of the matter is if you look at the state of California, climate challenge is happening statewide … it is going to be here for the foreseeable future.”

And this is why the news is not trusted: Osby didn’t blame it on ‘climate change’, he essentially said it was made worse, because we already know that it was started by downed power transmission lines.

Anyhow, I wonder if Neil realizes how much carbon pollution he’s released through all the years of touring and traveling in fossil fueled vehicles, what gets released from the stadiums he’s played and the people coming to see him in fossil fueled vehicles, and so forth.

Peak 2018? Men Refuse To Give CPR Because Of #MeToo Movement

People talk a lot on social media and blogs and in comments about Peak 2018. And there always seems to be something the following week, day, or even hour that is more peak. We might have an actual contender for true Peak 2018, especially since we are closing in on the end of the year

Men now afraid to give women CPR in fear of being accused of sexual assault and #MeToo

An article on Yahoo stated that researcher had surveyed people regarding CPR and their attitude when it comes to giving women CPR. The researchers, from the University of Colorado, had reported that many of the interviewees stated they feared giving a woman CPR because they would not want to be accused of touching them inappropriately or accused of sexual assault.

This is not good news for a woman who might suffer a heart attack or any other medical issue and require CPR on the spot to save them. Some call this the side effect of the #MeToo movement.

The Yahoo article stated, “Men were twice as likely to cite this fear as a reason for not administering CPR, the researchers found.”

Study lead author Sarah Perman of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, said: ‘The consequences of all of these major themes is that women will potentially receive no CPR or delays in initiation of CPR.

It doesn’t get any worse than this, does it? Especially since women are also afraid to give CPR to women lest they be accused of inappropriate touching, as the article notes

The real fear is that the accusation alone could ruin someone’s life, because even after someone is proven innocent, the damages are already done.

When the accusations fly, the media covers them heavily. When the result is that the accused is proven innocent, there is little fanfare, and brings up the old saying “where do I go to get my reputation back?” It’s entirely too easy nowadays to make an accusation on some Internet platform, once which is one-sided and gets tons of likes and traction. But are often false or blown up from an anthill to Mt. Everest.

And the #MeToo 3rd Wave feminists have no one to blame but themselves.

Hot New Idea To Stop ‘Climate Change’: Flood The Deserts

Why would they want to flood the deserts when they are already getting greener? It’d probably be a lot easier if every member of the Cult of Climastrology gave up their own use of fossil fuels and went carbon neutral

Would flooding the deserts help stop global warming?
The idea is “risky, unproven, even unlikely to work,” according to Y Combinator. But if it did work, it could slow climate change.

We could probably stop right after the subhead

Imagine flooding a desert half the size of the Sahara. Using 238 trillion gallons of desalinated ocean water to do the job. Creating millions of 1-acre-square micro-reservoirs to grow enough algae to gobble up all of Earth’s climate-changing carbon dioxide. For an encore: How about spreading the water and fertilizer (the dead algae) to grow a vast new forest of oxygen-producing trees?

A Silicon Valley venture capital firm, Y Combinator, unveiled the radical desert flooding plan as one of four “moonshot” scenarios that it hopes innovators will explore as potential remedies to catastrophic global warming.

But would it work? And should it even be tried?

No and no. But Warmists gonna Warmist

“We do not want to have this be purely profit driven,” said Greg Rau, a University of California, Santa Cruz climate scientist and part of the team that helped Y Combinator craft the request for proposals. “We are trying to benefit the planet, not just make money. So we need this kind of research and development first, but then oversight and governance over how any of this is deployed.”

In other words, they want Other People to pay for their insane ideas.

The startup accelerator that helped finance Airbnb, Dropbox and Reddit asked innovators last month to come forward with specific proposals on desert flooding and three other extreme plans for reducing greenhouse gas concentrations. The existential threat posed by climate change requires research into solutions that the investment firm itself conceded could be “risky, unproven, even unlikely to work.”

Which means they need Government money, coming from your wallet.

Y Combinator pegs the price tag at $50 trillion. That’s roughly half the entire globe’s economic productivity for a year. Altman said in an interview that the cost for any solution will need to drop into the billions to become more realistic. “You can do a lot of things that require spending more money than you will ever be able to get,” Altman said, “and it just doesn’t come.” Brought to a more realistic price, he believes that governments will pay.

School Is Considering Legal Action Against Kids Who Threw Up Nazi Salute In Photos

School launches investigation after prom picture of students appearing to perform Nazi salute goes viral

A Wisconsin school district is considering legal action after a photo of students appearing to give the Nazi salute went viral, prompting an apology from the photographer. Students are also alleging that their school routinely ignores racism.

“The photo of students posted to #BarabooProud is not reflective of the educational values and beliefs of the School District of Baraboo,” read a Monday tweet from the Baraboo School District in Wisconsin. “We are investigating and will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address.”

If burning the U.S. flag is considered to be protected under the 1st Amendment, so are these little idiots. And Wisconsin does have the same protections in its state Constitution. Not quite sure what legal measures can be taken by kids being jerks. Here’s where it gets even dumber

Superintendent Lori Mueller also tweeted a letter sent to parents which read in part, “Early this morning, a photo that was taken last spring of some Baraboo School District students who appear to be making extremely inappropriate gestures began circulating on social media,” and she reiterated the district’s commitment to investigate with the help of local law enforcement.

“With that, we want to be very clear,” she wrote. “The Baraboo School District is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry are respected and celebrated.”

So, everyone is respected and celebrated? But they’re going to go after these little idiots? Doesn’t sound like everyone is respected and celebrated. Sounds like intolerance. I wonder if these hardcore leftists even think before they write talking points like this, any sort of understanding that they don’t actually respect and celebrate anything outside of their little bubble.

There may or may not be more to these high school idiots doing this, you’re welcome to read the article. Regardless, again, even assholes have Free Speech protections from government. Not from private citizens blasting them, of course. We should also remember that people do dumb things all the time. I bet every single person blasting these kids have done something incredibly stupid.

It’s also interesting that the kids are now being bullied. I thought that was bad? Perhaps if they were shown compassion and told what they did wrong they’d realize the error of their ways.

Finally, see the kid front row left between guys in gray? He’s throwing the so-called White Power OK sign. He’s actually playing the circle game. And you just looked.

At the end of the day, you don’t have to agree with what someone says or does: but government can’t simply come in and punish speech it doesn’t like. The kids are still aholes, though. Even though they are kids, they should still know better. A few did. Most didn’t.

Clean Energy Is Surging, but Not Fast Enough to Solve Global Warming

Over the next two decades, the world’s energy system will undergo a huge transformation. Wind and solar power are poised to become dominant sources of electricity. China’s once-relentless appetite for coal is set to wane. The amount of oil we use to fuel our cars could peak and decline.

But there’s a catch: The global march toward clean energy still isn’t happening fast enough to avoid dangerous global warming, at least not unless governments put forceful new policy measures in place to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

That’s the conclusion of the International Energy Agency, which on Monday published its annual World Energy Outlook, a 661-page report that forecasts global energy trends to 2040. These projections are especially difficult right now because the world’s energy markets, which usually evolve gradually, are going through a major upheaval.

Surprise! More government taking more control and power!

Even with the impressive recent gains for renewable energy, the world is still far from solving global warming. Global carbon dioxide emissions rose 1.6 percent last year and are on track to climb again this year. The report projects that emissions will keep rising slowly until 2040.

One reason: Carbon-free sources like wind, solar and nuclear power aren’t yet growing fast enough to keep up with rising global energy demand, particularly in places like India and Southeast Asia. That means fossil fuel use keeps growing to fill the gap.

For this to change, nations will have to enact sweeping new policies, like investing in energy efficiency to slow demand growth, curbing methane leaks from oil and gas operations, and developing carbon capture technology for existing fossil fuel power plants and cement factories.

And taxes and fees! Don’t forget taxes and fees! Funny how it always comes to this.

Trumpy Bear Is Actually Masking Something Nefarious Or Something

It’s a cute bear. With a combover. And a blankie! And it is real! And it has far left outlet writer Jeet Heer melting down

(New Republic) Like the Teddy Bear, the Trumpy Bear uses cuteness to mask something terrible.

Some television viewers were taken aback by an ad running on Fox News and other stations showing a stuffed bear coiffed like President Donald Trump.

By “some viewers”, Jeet means the liberals who tuned in to monitor Fox having typical meltdowns

At the request of readers, the fact-check site Snopes.com verified that the Trumpy Bear is not a satire, but a genuine stuffed toy being as a comfort doll to Trump fans. In a statement, Fox News said the ad “was a local ad purchase with the cable operator. We do not do business with them nationally.”

Exceptional Products, the toymaker, issued a “vision statement” from V.L. Lange, the designer of Trump Bear. “In 1902 the teddy bear was born and named after President Teddy Roosevelt,” Lange said. “When President Donald Trump was elected to office as the first non-politician president, I felt it was time to name an American fearless grizzly bear after our new Commander in Chief.” (snip)

Like its ancestor, the Trumpy Bear becomes more sinister if you understand its origins. The ad begins on an ominous note. “A storm is coming,” a husky voice says. “You cannot defeat the storm. I am the storm.”

What does a storm have to do with stuffed bears? The answer is disturbing. Those words are the slogan used by QAnon conspiracy theorists, who believe Trump is a heroic figure fighting a secret network of pedophiles that control Hollywood, the Democratic Party, and the so-called Deep State. The Trump Bear is the cuddly avatar for one of the most unhinged factions of American political life.

Did Jeet just happen to know this, or did this gamma male pajama boy Democrat supporter actually do research on a stuffed bear, looking for something Evil? It most likely has zero to do with QAnon (which, like the creation of the OK “white power” symbol, is pretty much trolling the media), but, Trump’s own words, as we see from the link above

“You guys know what this represents?” Trump said, gesturing to the uniforms. “Maybe it’s the calm before the storm.”

But it’s a stuffed bear, guys. A stuffed bear. Only in Liberal World would this bring an article on nefarious plots. Which are nothing compared to the number of Democrats who said President George W Bush either let 9/11 happen or made it happen.
