Hard Left Group Says “Inflation Bill” Will Save Average Family $1,800 A Year Or Something

That’s totally believable, right?

Inflation Reduction Act would lead to $1,800 in savings for average household, analysis finds

Sweeping climate and health care legislation unveiled by Democrats last week would lead to significant cuts in energy costs for American households, according to a new analysis.

A report by non-profit group Rewiring America found that the tax incentives included as part of the $369 billion dedicated to climate initiatives in the Inflation Reduction Act would save the average household $1,800 per year on energy bills.

“It is a market-tilting level of investment,” Ari Matusiak, the group’s co-founder and CEO who was involved with the crafting of the bill, told Yahoo Finance. “The beneficiaries of [this measure] in the long term are going to be all of us on the planet. In the short term, it’s going to be Americans at their kitchen tables realizing savings on a month-to-month basis.”

The new measure sets out to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and dramatically reduce the country’s greenhouse gas emissions through a slew of tax incentives aimed at reducing the cost of electrification.

I’m sure the very far left group totally can explain how you’ll save $1,800 a year, right? Seriously, where is that possible? A lot of families I know spend around $200-$300 a month. Kinda tough to save $1,800.

While those cost savings are dolled out among more than 100 different programs, Matusiak said the biggest reductions are likely to come from rebate and credit programs that cushion the cost difference between electric appliances and cars, and those that rely on fossil fuels.

So, somehow you’ll save money by being forced to replace your gas appliances and car with an EV? And by rebate, they mean tax credit, which doesn’t always amount to saving that amount of actual money.

“41% of the inflation that consumers are experiencing are because their energy bills directly are going up at the pump and at their kitchen table,” he said. “And electrifying the machines that we use in our day-to-day lives structures that inflation out of our lives forever. So it is not just about whether you’re going to get to that $1,800 number this year, but it’s whether you are going to reduce the amount of money that you spend on energy year over year for the next 20 years.”

Ah, so, you might not save $1,800 this year, you might save something over the next 20 years? Cool. What if we already have an electric stove? How does that help? What if we can’t afford to spend $50K plus for an EV? And then the charger for the house?

Matusiak also pointed to additional credits that allow homeowners to deduct up to 30% of the cost of energy efficient upgrades to their homes, as all part of the $1,800 cost savings estimated.

Oh, so spend a lot to save some? Does this sound like a complete scam or what.

These people are just plain stupid and they are under the employ of CHINA. I was listening to a speech about how it is now impossible to ween the United States from China as they have infiltrated every aspect of the United States Academia, Government, and Military.

The people making decisions for what is best for the United States are NOT Americans but the Chinese. Our politicians are making a fortune and becoming the very things they pretend to disdain…Filthy Rich. Cheyney in Wyoming is begging democrats to vote for her in the primary so she does not lose her GRAAAAVVVVYYYYY TRAIN. Lisa Murkowski in Alaska lost her primary to a TEA PARTY CANDIDATE and then because POWER AND WEALTH WERE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE she embarked upon a write-in campaign led by millions and millions of outside dollars to win back her seat via a write-in candidacy.

They use the border wall and Hispanics, Academia, and Electronic Chips as well as Climate Change and Woke culture to continually divide Americans and keep us at each other’s throats.

We all know this is true to a certain degree but it was scary as this professor outlined all the ways China can simply turn a switch and the USA will be in the dark.

They want all the oil and gas for themselves and oh yeah keep the coal coming too. They will own the world in less than 50 years. They will have the 1000 years REICH Hitler could only dream of and we keep handing it to them, convinced by bologna proof that we are all going to die if we don’t even though…..

    And this is important…..

WE DO NOT KNOW WE ARE HANDING OVER THE KEYS TO THE PLANET TO MONSTERS. We have been fooled, brainwashed, and lied to into believing we are doing what is right.

God help our children and grandchildern that todays snowflakes fret about so dearly.

Electrified vehicle US sales were 9% total market share 1 year ago
Now have gone up to 12 6%
Car manufacturers know what the future is in advanced countries like China EVs are 25% of sales

    • david7134 says:

      John,
You are not aware of the economic storm in China, are you. China is about to implode, EVs are likely not affordable.

  3. Hairy says:

Inflation is at tge same rate in almost all countries.
Teach Do you blame Biden for this global inflation?

    • Facts Matter says:

YES hairy. I blame Biden and more importantly the Democrats. The Democrats were the ones crying wolf and forcing the world into lockdowns which in turn crushed the supply chain and fear mongered people into refusing to leave their houses and go back to work.

Yes I blame Biden and the democrats. Give me proof I should not. I am sure your side has 1000’s of economists and professors paid by China to prove that Republicans who believe IN AMERICA FIRST are evil and it is all the fault of some hamster biting a bat who then bit a man in a wet market in Wuhan that just happened to be a mile or two from an infectious disease facility studying BAT CORNOAVIRUSES FUNDED BY FAUCHI.

My last month’s check was for 11000 dollars… Everything I did was basic online work from comfort at home for 3-4 hours/day that I got from this office I found over the web and they paid me 95 bucks each hour… Attempt it yourself….Check this site..

  6. Jl says:

Good, maybe now drop the rebates and let them compete head to head with gas powered vehicles. And John, why should we buy EV?

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Drop the rebates on EVs or add the true cost of gas vehicles to THEIR price. Or add that cost to gasoline prices.

But of course this is why deniosaurs say that 1) the Earth is not warming and/or 2) warming is not from CO2 and/or 3) CO2 is causing warming but it’s no big deal.

      • Jl says:

Well, J-if your cult had scientific evidence of those claims then we wouldn’t have say it. I know that evidence crap is such a bitch for you guys…

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Jill,

What evidence would persuade you and your cult that CO2 we add to the atmosphere is driving global warming?

          • david7134 says:

If you have a hypothesis, then it is up to you to provide unequivocal proof, especially when you desire to destroy our country. Jl is not required to dream up some proof. All you have provided is very loose correlation, nothing that is meaningful

            Jl,
This is Jeff same thing he ask everyone and he never, ever provided any proof to substantiate his hypothesis.

The one clear aspect of climate change is the one and only solution, which is basically killing our country and promoting global communism.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

            Teach,

You seem a bit confused about hypotheses and theories. Scientific theories are rarely if ever “proved”, but become accepted when the evidence makes it unreasonable to not recognize it as a good explanation of a phenomenon. The theory of AGW can be disproven/falsified with evidence.

So, what new evidence would you consider persuasive? Thirty more years of continued CO2 increase with thirty more years of warming?

          • drowningpuppies says:

Seems we’ve gone over this before…Again Rimjob with his specious arguments.

specious argument – an argument that appears good at first view but is really fallacious argument, statement – a fact or assertion offered as evidence that something is true; “it was a strong argument that his hypothesis was true” vicious circle – an argument that assumes that which is to be proved

            Rimjob never disappoints. https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

          • Jl says:

First, falsifying the several other theories of warming such as decreasing clouds and/or shortwave solar radiation. Second, and most importantly, show cause -effect evidence of CO2 back-radiation warming anything. A cup of coffee will do. Over 120 years and counting..
J, you ask this same question all the time. You think the answer is going to be any different? But thanks for admitting in a round-about way that there isn’t any empirical evidence, or you would have offered it. All you have now is a simple correlation, not causation

      • Jl says:

And what would the true cost of gas vehicles be? Of course if you did that one would have to add the true cost of EVs as well.
Fossil fuel vehicles return billions to government coffers in the form of federal, state and aviation fuel taxes. In effect, a negative subsidy..

  7. The electric grid is already close to capacity; imagine what would have to be added — roughly 40% — to production capacity to power all the electric vehicles the left tell us we’ll have to have.

Can someone name for me the last government program to help the economy which lived up to the projections on which it was sold?

  8. Facts Matter says:

The theory of AGW can be disproven/falsified with evidence

Elwood points this out. The problem is that sufficient evidence has been provided over the years and yet it is not accepted by the AGW community. No different than the evidence they provide that is not accepted by those who do not believe in AGW.

The biggest point AGW makes is that when the earth was warm there was lots of co2. Yet where did that co2 come from and did the co2 become the cause and effect of the slide into massive heat in millenniums past? Were their weathermen around measuring the Water droplets in the air? Since we know that water is around 99.9 percent of greenhouse gases it is highly unlikely still that 1200 or 1400 ppm were responsible for Global warming.

This has been revealed by geologists who showed that super EL NINOs raged for nearly a million years dropping massive amounts of water vapor in the air causing a rise in global temperatures. Yes, co2 was higher during this time. But WHY? In conjunction with most likely massive forest fires that raged in areas of drought and greater than average volcanic activity.

Cause and effect. Did Forest fires and drought cause the massive super EL-NINO’S discovered by geologists or vice versa? We know today that is floods in half of the world and bakes in the other half when we have strong El-Nino’s such as today.

Evidence. Neither side has conclusive evidence. It is akin to did the Covic and now Monkey Pox originate from Dr. Mengele or did a hamster bite a bat who bit a man. Both sides have their strong opinions and the leftist AGW proponents are using the assumed close to making a theory, FACT when there are still way too many holes in it to even be considered valid. YET.

    • CarolAnn says:

AGW is just that: a theory. But it’s a dangerous theory for a couple reasons. First, it is a theory where thousands of “experts” in academia and government are being paid trillions of $$$ to propagate the theory as fact. To teach it as a foregone conclusion and to scare the living hell out of the weak of mind and children. Secondly, those “experts” are not experts at all but a gaggle of all types of people who happen to agree with the theory and since the first Earth Day in 1970 have yet to promote a correct prediction, prophesy or prove one conclusion. IPW, it’s all hype and no conclusive proof.

And just as an aside, once they made AGW into a political trope it lost all its scientific veritas and turned into the same bile of dung Covid turned into and the fake “insurrection” by working and elderly unarmed citizens did. It’s all leftist crap used to divide us so they can install more pedos like FJB and his conglomeration of perverts, weirdos and criminals.

  9. […] Under the legislation, a home improvement credit for energy efficiency would allow households to deduct from their taxes up to 30% of the cost of upgrades like heat pumps and insulation. Another provision extends a program that allows households that are installing solar or battery storage systems to deduct 30% of the cost of those projects from their taxes. (skipping a short paragraph on a hardcore leftist group saying it will save $1,800, which I covered here) […]
