Summer Temperatures On A Cooling Trend For 2000 Years, Plus More Graphics

However, Warmists will tell us that because Someone Else drove an SUV, the Earth will boil in 100 years, when everyone has forgotten the prognostications

(Ice Age Now) A new study of tree-ring data has concluded that not only has our climate often been noticeably hotter than today, temperatures have actually been on a falling trend for the past 2,000 years.

Measurements stretching back to 138 BC prove that the Earth is slowly cooling -0.3°C per millennium due to gradual changes to the position of the sun and an increase in the distance between the Earth and the sun.

This study came out last summer, and includes this graphic

What we see is warming, cooling, warming, cooling, warming, a pattern of change occurring over 2000 years, which would be the same going back about 7,000 years.

This is part of posting more charts and graphs and data-sets, below the fold, and added to the Climate Change Data page

(using 2007 as the last year is immaterial, since there has been no real warming since)

  1. The Warmist cult has an explanation for the Medieval Warm Period – the accumulated farts of plaque rats. And the Roman Warm Period as well – excessive rates of human exhaling during Roman orgies.

  2. Yup, they always have some excuse, just like they always have some excuse as to why they won’t give up their own fossil fueled lifestyles

Teach it was really really hot 50 million years ago,
What most people think is important is how the climate is changing now, and what effect that will have on the 7 billion humans now living. as far as it is always getting cooler, well look at Otzi the Ice man he was covered up for 3,300 years and then for the first time the ice melted and he was found in 1990s Not sure how its getting colder fits in with that. If it is getting colder, why is the polar ice cap getting smaller ?
You have been predicting that its gonna get colder for many years now. Last year was the hottest summer in US EVAH
