Good News: ObamaWorld Is Now Open For Business!

That is, if you a tourist coming from another country. If you want to create jobs through something like, say, the Keystone XL pipeline, well, sucks to be you. If you are part of the oil industry, Obama’s EPA will try and stop you. If you are a small business, Obama’s extreme regulations will cause you to rethink expansion. Did I mention the Keystone XL? Anyhow, Obama continues to channel his inner Hugo Chavez

(White House) In this week’s address, President Obama told the American people about steps his Administration is taking to make it easier for travelers to visit the United States, because increasing tourism will help local economies and support businesses looking to expand and hire.  This plan to boost tourism is part of a series of actions the President has taken without Congress, because we can’t wait any longer to take the steps we need to help grow the economy and create jobs.  President Obama also said that in next week’s State of the Union Address, he will outline his blueprint for how our elected leaders and all Americans can work together to create an economy that is built to last.

Well, that’s interesting: Obama will use his SOTU address to explain how he will work with the duly elected Legislative branch, tasked with creating and passing laws, after he has run around the country telling people how he is doing an end run around the duly elected Legislative branch and creating his own “laws.” How long till he declares that Conservative talk radio is mean to him and has them shut off? Yes, a bit of hyperbole, yet, Obama is not acting in a manner that conforms with the office of the US Presidency, but, more like Chavez, who continually stretched the power of the office of Venezuelan Presidency to essentially become a dictator. Consider all the edicts and demonization of his opponents Chavez used to accumulate power.

Obama uses the first part of his Weekly Missive to discuss how he is blowing off Congress to change legal immigration regulations, giving tourists, particularly from Brazil and China, quicker visas and faster access through immigration lines. Because “We Can’t Wait” for the duly elected Legislative branch to actually receive potential legislation from the Executive Branch in accordance with what is outlined in the US Constitution.

In September, we decided to stop waiting for Congress to fix No Child Left Behind and give states the flexibility they need to help our kids meet higher standards.  We made sure that small businesses that have contracts with the Federal Government can get paid faster so they can start hiring more people.  We made it easier for veterans to get jobs and put their skills to work.  We took steps to help families whose home values have fallen refinance their mortgages and save up to thousands of dollars a year.  We sped up the loan process for companies that want to rebuild our roads and bridges – putting construction workers back on the job.  And I appointed Richard Cordray to be America’s consumer watchdog and protect working Americans from the worst abuses of the financial industry.

Is it hyperbole to suggest that these actions are more in line with someone who thinks himself more of a dictator than a US President? Strange how a guy who describes himself as a “Constitutional professor” who shred the principles of our founding documents.

On Tuesday evening, I’ll deliver my State of the Union Address, where I’ll lay out my blueprint for actions we need to take together – not just me, or Congress, but every American – to rebuild an economy where hard work and responsibility are rewarded.  An economy that’s built to last.

Someone should yell out “Keystone XL” every once in a while. Because the SOTU is going to be a re-election speech, highlighting that Obama is running against Congress (because his record itself is entirely pathetic) in 2012. What it will not be is a speech by a person who thinks of himself as the President of the United States Of America, but by a person who seems himself as Leader Of the Democrat Party, therefore, he’s not entitled to any of the typical courtesy afforded POTUS’.

Furthermore, his previous “blueprints” have been sheer disasters so far. He should take the advice of this guy who said “If the economy isn’t fixed within 3 years, Obama will be a one term president” and declare he is one and done.
