Anarchists Linked To Occupy Movement Busted In Chapel Hill

Remember, this is just like the Tea Party, a narrative the liberal media are having a tough time sticking to as of late

(Raleigh N&O) A police tactical team of more than 25 police officers arrested eight demonstrators Sunday afternoon and charged them with breaking and entering for occupying a vacant car dealership on Franklin Street.

Officers brandishing guns and semi-automatic rifles rushed the building at about 4:30 p.m. They pointed weapons at those standing outside, and ordered them to put their faces on the ground. They surrounded the building and cleared out those who were inside.

About 13 people, including a New & Observer staff writer covering the demonstration, were forced to the ground and hand-cuffed.

These folks, supposedly anarchists (who want bigger government. Go figure), broke in, hung up banners, and got what they deserved. The big pull story at Memeorandum is the one above, but the WRAL story has more fun

Hannah Shaw witnessed the arrests. She said it was terrifying.

“Twenty police or so came in, ran in, no warning at all, and had their assault rifles pulled at us,” she said. “(They) put a gun in my face and put guns in everybody’s faces and screamed at us to get on the ground. We all got on the ground.”

Hey, honey, you broke in to a building. You do not own it. Anarchists are known for placing traps. The police had no idea what was going on, so, yeah, they came in with guns drawn. If you were “terrified”, perhaps you shouldn’t hang in buildings you broke in to.

Justin Jacobs said police went too far.

“They pushed me down on the ground, forced me to lay on my stomach and rolled me over,” he said. “A cop put his gun on my lower back and I asked him if he was going to shoot me.”

Well, Justin, you now understand what it’s like to be arrested. Perhaps if you do not break and enter, you won’t be in this position again.

According to police, some of the people involved in the break-in are known anarchists, who were thought to have used anarchist strategies such as barricading themselves in buildings, placing traps in buildings and destroying property.

The Chapel Hill PD wasn’t taking any chances with these hooligans.

“You can put your face on the ground NOW, or I can spread it across that wall there. Your choice.”

An excellent example of an over hyped reputation preceding them. What a bunch of lightweights.

What ever happened to simply using drones, ala Obama??? I think that would end this Occupy movement in a heartbeat…and we wouldn’t have to hear the police brutality meme from all of these morons perpetrating crimes across America…
