The Ice Age Is Coming? Really? Cool!

Climahysterics will become more hysterical

It has plagued scientists and politicians for decades, but scientists now say global warming is not the problem.

We are actually heading for the next Ice Age, they claim.

British and Canadian experts warned the big freeze could bury the east of Britain in 6,000ft of ice.

And what’s more, the experts blame the global change on falling – rather than climbing – levels of greenhouse gases.

The warning, published in the authoritative journal Nature, is based on records of tiny marine fossils and the earth’s shifting orbit.

Crank up those SUVs, baby!

And from National Geographic

Emissions of greenhouse gases—such as the carbon dioxide, or CO2, that comes from power plants and cars—are heating the atmosphere to such an extent that the next ice age, predicted to be the deepest in millions of years, may be postponed indefinitely

Greenhouse gasses good! But, hey, let’s hose the economies of the nations of the world, institute legislation that is massively intrusive into our individual lives, all to bring about the next ice age, which even the New York Times acknowledges.

By the way, this is what is known as “science,” rather then “consensus.”

Teach did you forget to mention the time frames involved ? 10.000 to 100,000 years ? well that really is quite a bit in the future don’t you think ? Humans would probably do well to focus on the near term say the next 100 years or so. The climate change expected in the near term 100 years does not include global cooling. What may happen after the arctic polar ice caps melt and the Greenland ice melts no one is sure of: however humans and nature have both adapted to what was the past norm. change in the future will be hard to adjust to. Again I expect 2008 to rank in the top 10% of all years as far as global temps are concerned.

And do not forget that this Sunday Nov 16th is the anniversary of the Great Flood 16th day of the 2nd month in the Hebrew calendar. The Great Flood was the baptism of the planet where all of the bad people and bad sins were washed away.
