Beer Monday: You Mean The Obamessiah Did Attend A Wright Hate Speech?

Happy Monday! Time to get busy, shift a few paradigms, invest in your future. How ’bout a beer?

Obama supporters are going to need a beer after this story. But, not because it shows Obama to be a liar and a racist supporter, but, because it will cause them problems politically. They could barely care less if Obama is a racist, as long as he wins the White House. If Obama loses in November, the Left will crucify him. If a hard core Conservative ran with a D next to his/her name, Liberals would be fine with that, as long as he/she won. With the Left, it is about power, not ethics or morals

(Newsmax) Contrary to Senator Barack Obama’s claim that he never heard his pastor Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. preach hatred of America, Obama was in the pews last July 22 when the minister blamed the “white arrogance” of America’s Caucasian majority for the world’s suffering, especially the oppression of blacks. (snip)

If Obama’s claims are true that he was completely unaware that Wright’s trademark preaching style at the Trinity United Church of Christ has targeted “white” America and Israel, he would have been one of the few people in Chicago to be so uninformed. Wright’s reputation for spewing hate is well known.

In fact, Obama was present in the South Side Chicago church on July 22 last year when Jim Davis, a freelance correspondent for Newsmax, attended services along with Obama. [See: ”Obama’s Church: Cauldron of Division.”]

In his sermon that day, Wright tore into America, referring to the “United States of White America” and lacing his sermon with expletives as Obama listened. Hearing Wright’s attacks on his own country, Obama had the opportunity to walk out, but Davis said the senator sat in his pew and nodded in agreement.

The story points out that Oprah herself stopped attending the “church” years ago, and has been a target of Wright’s wrath. And, yes, I did put church in quotations on purpose. As a Christian, I do not believe that Wright or his church represent anything in the New Testement or the true Christian ideals. Jesus would be embarrassed to go to that church.

More: seems that the timing was probably incorrect. I’m a little short on time, have to run and meet some friends for some festivities, so, I would suggest you read this whole post over at Sister Toldjah’s, who has a great breakdown and timeline.

Furthermore, ST pulls a post from The Huff Post, which shows that Obama was, in fact, in Chicago that morning. It may have been tight, and probably did not happen, but, it was possible for BHO to attend service then fly to Miami.

However, let’s consider: Barack’s entire campaign is about his character. There is little else there but that. Very light on actual policy. What does it say about Obama’s character when he stayed at this church for 20 years, got married by Wright, had Wright baptize his kids, and sends his kids to the same church? A church tends to be made up of like minded individuals. If one does not generally agree (generally!) with what is going on at the church you attend, you leave, and find another church that meets your needs and beliefs. Did not sound like people had issues during Wright’s sermons. So, what does this say about BHO, who did not dissocociate himself to caught?

I really like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, innocent till proven guilty, but, it seems that what we have seen and heard of Wright was the norm, not the exception. It is hard to believe that Obama has never heard one. He insults our intelligence when he plays this game.

Barack Obama did not attend church on July 22. On that day he gave a speech at the La Raza Convention in Miami, FL.
