WTW: Torture? You Call That Torture

White Trash Wednesday

Good morning, infidels. Prophet Sallami Sallami Mohammed here, and I am amazed at all the hand wringing coming from your American Left/Democrats over the so called "terrorist torture" bill. Like the Hon. Elizebeth Holtzman

"Today will go down in the annals of infamy. By signing the military tribunals bill into law, President Bush has taken this country down a long dark road of shame.

"The bill countenances abuse of detainees in defiance of the Geneva Conventions and the country's past moral values and it suspends habeas corpus in defiance of the constitution. As bad as these features is the bill's grant of a pardon to President Bush and his top Cabinet officials for any crimes they may have committed under the War Crimes Act of 1996.

You wimps have all sorts of hissy fits over a convention that we did not sign, nor will we follow. So funny! Morons do not even understand that your own Constitution doesn't apply to us, as we are not American citizens.

Amnesty Internation, while not stricly American, has the same poltroonish mentality as your Democrats

"Now bad policy has become bad law. The administration can now hold people indefinitely, without charge or without trial, with Congressional authorization.

"The president this morning stated that the legislation would allow the CIA program to continue and that the new legislation satisfied 'both the spirit and the letter of the law.' If, in making such a statement, the president is asserting that the CIA can continue to detain people in secret prisons and use interrogation techniques that amount to torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, such an assertion is outlandish. Enforced disappearance is a crime under international law, and there is no legal interpretation of U.S. treaty obligations that would sanction secret detentions.

"By cutting off avenues for judicial review, the legislation puts people in detention at substantial risk. A person's ability to challenge his detention and invoke fundamental rights in court is a critical protection against abuses by any government. By striking down these rights, this legislation is an historic step backwards and creates a fertile breeding ground for violations to continue.

Yammer yammer yammer. I'd like to see AI try this in our countries. We would through them in jail and really torture them, then, if we are feeling magnanimous, we might actually let them go. Usually we just cut their head off after using them for some propaganda that your Leftards buy into hook, line, and sinker.

But, you should listen to them. Tell your next speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to make sure that this law is done away with. If you don't, we will attack you and treat your soldiers badly. Not quite sure what could be worse then what we are already doing, ie, torturing them, making them read statements, then sawing their heads off, but, there ya go.

Your lefties are so easy to manipulate. Did you know most of them actually voted against the Military Commissions Act? So says James Sensenbrenner

"President Bush today signed into law legislation that will assist the U.S. in standing tall in the War on Terror. Today's legislation establishes a legal structure for handling dangerous terrorists while keeping sensitive intelligence information out of the hands of our enemies. This terrorist tribunals legislation will provide terrorists – such as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks – with a firm process to ensure justice is served. We shouldn't forget that the legal protections the terrorists will be afforded under this bill are among those that they have extinguished for thousands of innocent people."

"Though the country will be safer because of this legislation, it is very disappointing to again see that most of my Democrat colleagues not only walked away from, but actively opposed, the War on Terror by voting against this legislation. In fact, less than one month ago, the House Judiciary Committee had supported this legislation in an earlier form without the support of a single Democrat Member."

Told you. Democrats are hand wringers and poltroons. Just the way we Mujahadeen want them to be.

So is Walter B Jones (R-NC), who voted against the act. He needs to go.

Waterboarding may sound like it is not torture but it was one of the favorites of the Khmer Rouge. They had a 99.95 success rate in obtaining confessions ! As a matter of fact almost 1/2 of the people that they tortured confessed to working for BOTH the CIA and the KGB.

  2. Of course it is torture, infidel. But it is minor compared to what my people do to infidels. That is why you lose. You are weak.

  3. tjwilson says:

Andrew Sullivan, a gay rights advocate Liberal who poseses as a Consevative, was the guest on a Consevative talk show. He was very much opposed to torture in particularly water boarding. The host asked him if he thought burning a man to death was torture. He agreed that it was. The host asked him if he would water board a man to prevent a man from being burned to death.
    He said no.

Torture is wrong. What about the ticking bomb scenario, you know like the ones we see in the movies with the red numbers flashing ? Well in that case let the torturer do his work, but then give him 10 years in jail. One more “innocent but convicted” wouldn’t make all that much difference and he would know that his 10 years in jail had saved many lives. This would cut down the overall amount of torture to something close to what might be really really necessary

  7. Beth says:

John Ryan, are you aware of what waterboarding even is?

Are you aware that it’s done in survival training in our own military? If it’s torture, maybe you should tell the servicemen that have volunteered for duty that requires survival training. And be sure to ask why they’re not demanding Amnesty Int’l and the ACLU to intervene.

    Gimme a freakin’ break.

  8. Here’s a question for you, infidel John. Why is torture wrong? Through its use you may save many of your American infidel lives.

What if there are actually dirty bombs to be used at your NFL stadiums this coming Sunday. 40-50K people killed and injured per stadium. Would you use torture to stop us? We are counting on the answer being no.

  9. John Ryan says:

Why is torture wrong ? Well morally this was something that apparently your parents failed to teach you.
Yes durring training this is done to those who have volunteered. Other such training involves mock executions.
However ALL of those who are exposed to these practices know that neither will either hurt really kill them.

  10. John Ryan says:

As for the use in SEAL training this was reportedly stopped, as it was breaking too many SEALS and “hurt their morale”
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/04/AR2006100402005.html
Since this level of training is classified no conclusive “proof” that they are still doing this can be shown.

  11. “Why is torture wrong ? Well morally this was something that apparently your parents failed to teach you”

Why would my parents teach me that? We Muslims find it perfectly acceptable to commit real torture, however, I see that you actually failed to answer the question.

Answer me this, infidel: if a terrorist was holding one of your loved ones, and the only way to get the info was minor torture, such as waterboarding, would you do allow it? If there was credible intelligence that there was going to be a confirmed nuclear weapon detonated at an NFL game, but you did not know which one and which game, would you torture terrorists to find out?

    If you won’t, we win.

  12. Aaron Arghow says:

I like pirates. Pirates are cool. I wish I had a pirate friend. we would love each other forever. the end Penis

  13. John Ryan says:

Aaron pirates DO need special friends, many are very lonely and act out like small angry children. Your offer could make the world a better place.
