The Saab al Bour Primary School opened its doors Sept. 30 with Multi-National Division – Baghdad soldiers on hand to pass out school supplies to the students starting the new school year.
The primary school, located north of Baghdad, has undergone a $144,000 refurbishment, which began at the end of the last school year and was completed just in time for the new school year.
“We had a school opening today, and this is one of eight schools we are refurbishing in this city,” said Capt. Holly Hanson, team leader, Team 3, Company C, 414th Civil Affairs Battalion, attached to Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. “We brought them two school kits as a gift for their school opening. The school is now complete with its refurbishment.
“It’s good to know that we are helping with education here in Iraq. The community is happy we are helping with the schools.”

“I am glad the Americans are here helping us,” said Malga Hamid, assistant headmaster at the Saab al Bour Primary School. “Without them, our community would not be where it is today. It feels good knowing that there is someone that wants to help.”
It's amazing that an Iraq has a more positive attitude then the American Left, who have put their hopes on winning in 2006/2008 on America losing.

I do wish that someone in the big media would cover stuff like this. Fox news and other conservative news sites don’t, but should.
