It’s Just a Crazy Cynthia Day!

It seems that not all Black activists, like known racist’s and America haters Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte, are sticking with Cynthia (from the Christian Communications Network’s):

On March 29, Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) struck a police officer who attempted to stop her when she entered a House office building without proper identification. According to witnesses, McKinney three times ignored Capitol Police orders to stop at a security checkpoint. Rep. McKinney later held a press conference with her attorney and supporters where she accused the Capitol Police of “racism” and of “racially profiling” her. Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND (Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny) issued the following statement regarding this matter:

“This situation is an example of a black liberal Democrat using allegations of racism in order to get away with breaking the law. It’s disgraceful that Cynthia McKinney would charge the Capitol Police with racism for trying to do their jobs. Charges of ‘racism’ and ‘racial profiling’ by McKinney and her attorney are code words often used to intimidate white Americans and get black racists off the hook. (emphasis mine)

McKinney could have easily defused this situation by apologizing for not having proper identification and for attacking the officer; instead, she held a press conference flanked by known racists such as Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover, and members of the NAACP. The real racists here are Cynthia McKinney and her racially divisive supporters. The U.S. Attorney’s office must vigorously pursue this case regardless of the race, gender, or position of the person involved, in order to send a clear message that this type of racial demagoguery will not thwart justice.”

She could have defused it, but, then she wouldn’t be a liberal/progressive/loon/whatever. It is not in their blood to do the adult, responsible, correct thing.

Michelle Malkin catches this blurb from the Washington Times, where a Resolution to commend the Capital Police has been introduced:

“The 1,700 officers of the Capitol Police force risk their lives every day protecting constituents, staff and members of Congress,” said Rep. Patrick T. McHenry, North Carolina Republican. “The right thing to do is to commend these men and women. They deserve a pat on the back, which is more appropriate than what they’ve gotten lately.” The resolution, by Mr. McHenry and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, Florida Republican, which could be voted on this week, comes after increasingly harsh accusations by Mrs. McKinney, the Georgia Democrat who was stopped by Capitol Police last week for bypassing a metal detector…

Of course, it is only a matter of time before McHenry and Diaz-Balart will be called racists, sexists, homophobes, evil, and all the other general slurs that the Loopy Left uses to deflect from real debate.

The shame here is that the Congress has to waste time with Resolutions like this, rather then with the business of government. On the other hand, considering how they have been spending…….

Meanwhile, Buckey F. Williams has obtained the real before/after pictures of Cynthia, showing why the Capital Police officer couldn’t recognize her.
