Sticky Posts For WordPress

Having converted from Typepad to WordPress, I have found all sorts of cool little things, some of which I have implemented, some not. One of the newest ones is to have a Sticky Post, ie, a post that resides at the top of all posts till you decide to replace it or do away with it.

You’ve probably seen them around, a post that is always there for a few days, a week. Maybe you want to make sure that something doesn’t get missed. Say, like a Trackback Party post.

The one I have started using is Adhesive. This is the link for those with WordPress 2.0 and here for WordPress 1.5 (scroll down to almost the end of the page, it is a zip file.)

Read the instructions, while there isn’t much to it, just activate the plugin, there are a few minor settings, such as a quick saying for the post.

I like the adhesive too. I’m still working out kinks in my template 🙁

I put a 1.5 template up and it’s not working right – but I’m getting there.

    Yours looks great!

  2. Thanks, beth! If you want any help, I’ll be happy to.
