When it rains, it pours

Wow, the Indonesians just cannot catch a break. First the 9.3 earthquake which spawned the tsunami’s, followed by "aftershocks" in the 6.0 to 8.7 magnitude range, and now:

A volcano spewed into life on Indonesia’s disaster-blighted Sumatra
island, spreading new panic after the recent tsunami and earthquakes
and driving thousands from their homes.

Mount Talang, 40 kilometres (25 miles)
east of Sumatra’s coastal Padang city began pumping out volcanic ash
shortly before dawn, prompting scientists to urge people to move away
from the fall-out zone.

Vulcanologist Gede Suwantika described
Talang’s activity as "serious" saying there was a risk of molten magma
and clouds of super-heated gas that burn everything in their path.

According to Fauzan, a geophysicist with
the meteorology and geophysics agency, Talang’s eruption is directly
linked to the recent seismic activity off Sumatra’s shores.

He said the massive December quake had
activated Leuser Mountain, a volcano in Aceh province along the same
range of peaks as Talang, while the Nias quake had sparked activity in
lake Toba, an ancient crater in Sumatra.

Not good. Not good at all.

Those poor people, the hits just keep on coming.

Here in the Florida when we were slammed by the hurricanes we reaped the benefits of our government coming to our aid so quickly with unlimited resources.

So many of the Indonesians don’t have access to anything like that. And I don’t trust the UN to be much help.

  2. they are in a world of hurt even more if the volcanos start really going off. And there are more along the fault line. Not good.

For some reason, I keep hearing a “friggin'” between “it’s and “pours.”

“When it rains, it FRIGGIN’ pours!” in a drunk Scottish accent.

I’m all moved in. I put up a redirector and everything.

    The new site is: http://warmonger.mu.nu

I still have some photoshop work to do with the towers but just about everything else is done. Now’s the time to harass me about whatever needs to be changed.
