Hurricane Blogging

Yes, hurricane blogging from Raleigh/Durham, NC. Obviously, nada compared to what others have gone through, but we are under Flaash Flood and Tornado watchs. We just had a tornado warning, and, according to doppler, the spot of the tornado, or at least the funnel cloud, slid just southeast of my place of business 10 minutes ago. Fun. NOT!

And the remnents of Ivan are supposed to do a little loop and park itself over North Carolina this weekend. Woopee.

They really blew that forcast, didn’t they? I’m north of Charlotte and was told it would rain from Thursday until Tuesday. Early Saturday morning it’s bright and sunny!

Yes, they certainly did. It is sunny and beautiful in Raleigh this Sunday morning, and barely drizzeled at all on Sat. Reminds me of the big snow storm in 96. “The snow should be stopping soon after midnight” “Should be stopping early am” “Should be late morning” and so on. Had 21 inches of snow when all said and done, with 2 inches of ice underneath. I literally had no idea which space my white Ford Probe was in.
