And a happy Monday to all. It was a long, beer imbided day of football Sunday, so, let's get to it!
Here's some folks who answer the Dems and Michael J. Fox's abortion on demand innebriation.
To start with, Day Gardner of National Black Pro-Life Union
"Michael J. Fox is just another person with an 'everyman for himself mentality.' What makes his life so much more important that the life of a child? We need to remember that there are two different forms of stem cell research. Adult stem cells are available, Mr. Fox knows that. But even in light of that fact, he is still supporting the killing of children and then harvesting their little bodies for their stem cells.
"It is unfortunate that he and so many people suffer with debilitating diseases. We all have lost loved ones to horrible ailments and illnesses — and we all want and pray for good health. But, we should never deny the reality of the living unborn child in order to save our own skins. No human being has a right to do this at the expense of another's life."
Exactly. The Left's push for Embryonic stem cell research is just another way to push abortion on demand. ESC research is not going to be able to get all the "material" they need simply by harvesting eggs.
Big thing is, Michael J. Fox, who is fair game for criticism, due to the commercials he made and overmedicating himself, forgot two things (h/t to Flopping Aces and Stop The ACLU)
Fox: Right, and I agree with them on adult stem cell research. I mean, let’s talk about what we agree on. I agree that stem cell research is fantastic; we should pursue it. I agree that we should have no human cloning. We’re against that. We’re against egg farming, that notion. We agree on all of that.
Fox: Well, I don’t think that’s true. You know, I campaigned for Claire McCaskill. And so I have to qualify it by saying I’m not qualified to speak on the page-to-page content of the initiative. Although, I am quite sure that I’ll agree with it in spirit, I don’t know, I— On full disclosure, I haven’t read it, and that’s why I didn’t put myself up for it distinctly.
So, he made commercials, yet knows less then nothing about the issue, and what those three Democrats he is stumping for really want. Either that, or, referring to the first paragraph excerpted, he is suffering from BDS, or is dishonest in his support of those three Democrats, particularly McCaskill. What does he think the whole debate is over? He says that he is on the Republican side, opposing what is needed to do ESC research.
Stop The ACLU and Flopping Aces have a video of Fox admitting he didn't read the initiative, as does Hot Air. Ms. Underestimated has some of those typically nasty progressive cartoons, which, as usual, fail to address the issue.
