Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup

Patriotic Pinup Jay Scott Pike

Happy Sunday! Another gorgeous day in America, a nation of resilient folks who won’t let anything stop them. Speaking of resilient, you can help out folks in the tornado affected areas all over the Southeast by heading over to the Red Cross and making a donation.

This pinup is by, obviously, Jay Scott Pike, with a wee bit of help. Hopefully, he won’t get mad at me for using the pinup with a little addition, the perfect one for the weekend of the (so far) wedding of the century.

What is happening in Ye Olde Blogosphere? The Fine 15

  1. Verum Serum reports on the power struggle in Iran
  2. This ain’t Hell… has the Milblog winners. Congrats all!
  3. the Blogprof reports on liberals who say calling pets “pets” is insulting
  4. The Other McCain talks about Feministas vs the FBI
  5. Hey, guess what the Obama admin gave three people convicted on terrorism charges? Wild Thing has the answer
  6. Scared Monkeys (raaaaacist!) discusses TSA anti-groping legislation in Texas
  7. Q&O points out that most Americans think we’re still in a recession/depression
  8. Public Secrets wonders why Liberals hate the working class
  9. Patterico wonders how awesome this Laura Ingraham clip is
  10. Patriot’s Corner thinks about which Republican can beat Obama
  11. Doug Mataconis proves once again why Outside The Beltway is becoming mostly left leaning
  12. Skynet has apparently taken over Ne0-Neocon’s smartphone
  13. Jihad Watch has the latest on the DOJ attempting to force states to forget the 10th Amendment
  14. Jammie Wearing Fool has the latest idiocy from The View
  15. And last, but not least, Confederate Yankee tell us what is obvious to everyone by ObamaZombies
  16. And one to grow on, found while putting together the linky love/Rule 5 below: ThatMrGuy has 50 ways to defeat Obama

As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page. While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your “Pinups for Vets” calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out

Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. (BTW, since someone asked, the reason I leave links for the previous week up (or you might see a *) is because they are place holders for later in the day or for next weeks. Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit)

BTW, with Smitty going to Afghanistan for a year, not sure if RS McCain will continue doing Rule 5 Sunday posts. He has his FMJRA (linked above), but????? The posts do take a long time, so, if you want to send me your links for Rule 5 babeage or links, use ye olde email (remove the NOSPAM part). Preferably, create the html link so I can copy and paste how you want it to read.

Doug Mataconis is becoming Charles Johnson, if you substitute “writing ability” for “raving paranoia” and “lawyer” for “control freak.”

Some day Doug will publish a story that combines A) Sarah Palin, 2) birthers, and III) a poll that says bad things about Republicans, then have a massive orgasm that gives him a fatal aneurysm.

Got that right, Jay Tea. I caught one of his posts where you were responding to him and all his peeps, and it was like watching a conservative (you) argue with a bunch of liberals at someplace like Think Progress.

Thanks for including the robot, Sir. You are too kind.
May you have fair winds and fairer seas.

@Jay Tea & @W. Teach – I have to agree with both of you on Mataconis. I stopped reading OTB quite a while ago and he was the first to go when I needed to clear out some Twitter baggage.

I’m a little disappointed in OTB. It used to be one of my regular stops in the blogosphere, Just can’t handle it much anymore.

They’re becoming almost predictable.

The Moon hubcap is a nice touch, considering the near moon of the bride to be!

Teach,
Thanks for including a link to Patriot’s Corner. Much obilged and I am honored that you would do so!!!. Allen West is great!

Off to burn a huge pile of Elm branches from this winter from our eight trees. The wind is right out of the south and will blow into the tree huggers’ yard a couple houses up.

My contribution to GW and now that it is too warm to fire up the wood stove till next fall :( Open buring season will be closed here very soon and one must add particulate matter in the atmosphere when one can.

Thanks, Admiral.

May the wind be at your back and, also, that gal in front of the nuclear plant.

Thanks for the double link this week. Don’t know what I did to deserve it, but thanks again.

Mike
