Trump Admin Continues Rounding Up Illegals, Hits Sanctuary City Newark, NJ

Obviously, this has made the mayor of Newark very upset, and, if he keeps it up, he may end up finding himself charged with violating federal immigration law on harboring as well as obstruction of justice

US agents raid New Jersey worksite as Trump escalates immigration crackdown

U.S. immigration agents rounded up undocumented migrants as well as American citizens in a raid of a Newark, New Jersey, worksite on Thursday that the city’s mayor said involved detaining a military veteran and violations of the people’s rights.

The raid in New Jersey’s most populous city, hailed in the past by mayor Ras Baraka for its “sanctuary” policies protecting migrants, follows President Donald Trump’s pledge to deport millions of immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally.

In a raid of a business establishment in Newark, outside New York City, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents failed to produce a warrant as they detained “undocumented residents as well as citizens,” Baraka said in a statement.

“One of the detainees is a U.S. military veteran who suffered the indignity of having the legitimacy of his military documentation questioned,” Baraka said.

In a statement, an ICE spokesperson said that agents “may encounter U.S. citizens while conducting field work and may request identification to establish an individual’s identity as was the case during a targeted enforcement operation at a worksite today in Newark.”

In other words, ICE asked him for ID, and then let him go. That’s it. And then they took the actual illegals away. Nor do they need a warrant to sweep up illegals. They can get a warrant for you, though, if you interfere.

Baraka said the raid had violated the citizens’ rights under the U.S. Constitution.

“Newark will not stand by idly while people are being unlawfully terrorized,” he said.

Illegals/fake asylum seekers are not citizens.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said on X that the Trump administration arrested 538 people on Thursday, describing all of them as “illegal immigrant criminals”. She said they included members of a Venezuelan prison gang and people convicted of sex crimes.

That is a good start. And it is amazing that Democrats and the Credentialed Media whine about rounding up criminals. Now we need to hear the numbers for those who get booted out as the roundups continue.

The unusual gust of frigid air extending down from the North Pole has brought the first-ever blizzard warning to southern Louisiana and grounded flights in Houston. The cold spell could blast the country with heavy snowfall from the Northeast down to the Gulf Coast this week.

What’s responsible for the sudden chill? The polar vortex. And it might be acting strangely because of climate change, though not all researchers agree.

Sigh.

On a warming planet where increasing heat is the main signature of climate change, scientists agree that we will continue to see unusually cold temperatures. A 2021 study suggested that changes in the Arctic, which is warming twice as quickly as the rest of the globe, could be stretching the polar vortex and making the jet stream more wobbly.

“Climate change has increased the disruptions to the polar vortex,” said Judah Cohen, an author of the study and an atmospheric scientist at Atmospheric Environmental Research, a consulting firm that does climate research.

Double sigh. And this same thing was repeated across a wide variety of national and local news outlets. Because cult.

Chuck Schumer Wants Trump To Declassify UFO Files

Schumer calls on Trump to declassify government files on UFOs

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) says President Trump should declassify secret government archives about unidentified flying objects (UFOs), also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), in the spirit of greater government transparency.

“Now do UFOs,” Schumer wrote on social platform X in a repost of the White House’s announcement that Trump has ordered government files on John F. Kennedy, the nation’s 35th president, Robert F. Kennedy, his brother, and Martin Luther King Jr. to be declassified.

Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) introduced a bill in the last Congress to require government records related to UAPs be disclosed unless officials provide reasons for why it should remain classified.

The provisions to require information related to UAPs or UFOs be made public, however, were later stripped from the annual defense authorization bill.

Well, now, I agree with Chuck for a change. Usually it’s only on his stance on Jews, standing in opposition to a good chunk of his Party. I wonder, though, if a declassification of the documents would be a bust.

Warmist Mike Bloomberg Will Fund UN Climate (scam) Body

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg will fund the UN climate change body after Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Paris Agreement

Billionaire entrepreneur Michael Bloomberg announced Thursday that his foundation will step in to fund the UN climate change body after President Donald Trump declared the United States would withdraw from the Paris Agreement for the second time.

Bloomberg’s intervention aims to ensure the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) remains fully funded despite the United States halting its contributions.

Washington typically provides 22 percent of the UNFCCC secretariat’s budget, with the body’s operating costs for 2024-2025 projected at 88.4 million euros ($96.5 million).

The secretariat is tasked with supporting the global response to climate threats, and organizes international climate conferences, the next of which will be COP30 held in Brazil in November.

Let them raise their funds on their own, just like this. No need for the US to pony up almost $100 million a year to have a group castigate the US over a scam, as well as living high on the hog as the employees go to conferences around the world.

US exit from Paris climate deal complicates finance targets, says COP30 head

Brazil sees an opportunity to amplify the voices of developing nations in upcoming climate finance talks, according to comments on Thursday from the head of the global COP30 summit set to be hosted by the South American nation later this year.

The comments from Andre Correa do Lago come as world leaders grapple with the recent withdrawal from the Paris climate accord by the United States, ordered by new U.S. President Donald Trump.

Correa do Lago told reporters in Brasilia that negotiations will likely be “harder” at the COP30 summit compared to last year’s meetings, when the United States was “engaged in having policies to fight climate change.”

Oh, well. Those other countries can pitch in. If rich American Warmists want to help, they are welcome.

What Happened The Last Time Trump Left The Paris Agreement

The move also halted essential contributions to climate finance, leaving developing nations without vital support for mitigation and adaptation efforts.

Whoopie, 4 months, which were really nothing, because Trump waited till the last moment of his term to start the 1 year pull-out clock. Funny how so much of this comes down to money from Other People, eh? And, really, I don’t think Trump and the majority of the country cares about climate cult credibility.

It Begins: ICE Rounds Up Hundreds Of Illegals

Trump’s ICE racks up hundreds of arrests, including illegal immigrants arrested for horror crimes

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in the first days of the Trump administration, has made more than 460 arrests of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal histories that include sexual assault, domestic violence and drugs and weapons crimes.

Information obtained by Fox News Digital, shows that between midnight Jan. 21 and 9 a.m. Jan 22, a 33-hour period, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested more than 460 illegal immigrants that include criminal histories of sexual assault, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, drugs and weapons offenses, resisting arrest and domestic violence.

Agents arrested nationals from a slew of countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela.

Arrests took place across the U.S. including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida and Maryland.

Obviously, this has driven the Democrats nuts, as they get Very Upset when illegal aliens are caught by ICE. Who are they crying over?

A Mexican national, Jesus Perez, arrested in Salt Lake City, charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

A Jamaican national, Kamaro Denver Haye, arrested for “promote a sexual performance by a child less than 17 years of age and possessing sexual performance by child less than 16 years of age: possess/access to view.”

A Mexican national, Jesus Baltazar Mendoza, convicted of 2nd degree assault of a child. He was arrested in St. Paul.

Six illegal immigrants in Miami from Guatemala, with criminal histories including battery, child abuse, fraud, resisting arrest, DWI, trespassing and vandalism.

Is this the hill you want to die on, Democrats, protecting these people?

(The Hill) President Trump on Wednesday ordered active-duty troops to the southern border to bolster federal, state and local law enforcers who are cracking down on migrants the president describes as “invading” the United States.

The initial force, according to the administration, is 1,500 troops, deployed as military airlift support for the Department of Homeland Security to deport more than 5,000 immigrants without legal status detained in San Diego, Calif., and El Paso, Texas.

That initial troop number could grow to as many as 10,000 active-duty military members in future missions, a defense official told reporters.

Excellent. Even if they are not doing anything but support, this will deter illegals from crossing.

The Trump administration has cancelled all flights on refugees who were slated to enter the United States in the coming days.

Refugees already approved to travel into the U.S. before a White House-imposed deadline suspending resettlement had their flight plans canceled anyway, according to a State Department memo given to resettlement partners and first obtained by CNN. The flight cancellations are among the many actions the Trump administration has implemented to tighten immigration and shore up border security.

Good. It’s time to stop bringing in huge numbers of people from 3rd world nations who never assimilate, who demand we change for them, and bring their 3rd world mores to the US. And then never leave.

Conservative Groups Sues Washington Over Late Release Of Climate (scam) Reports

Group sues WA over late reporting on greenhouse gas emissions

A conservative think tank filed a lawsuit Wednesday against two Washington state agencies over delays in reporting the state’s greenhouse gas emissions.

The Washington Policy Center said in a news release that it filed the lawsuit against the Washington State Department of Ecology and the Department of Commerce to force the agencies to comply with a state law that requires timely emissions reporting.

According to state law passed in 2008, the two agencies are required to report the state’s total greenhouse gas emissions at the end of even-numbered years. The reports also must include “the total emissions of greenhouse gases for the preceding two years, and totals in each major source sector,” according to state law.

In January, Ecology released the state’s latest emissions inventory through 2021. The report showed that overall greenhouse gas emissions dipped 13.8% in 2020 during the pandemic but rose 8.8% in 2021, largely driven by the transportation sector.

The state is required by law to release data through 2023, according to the Washington Policy Center.

Well, the WPC doesn’t actually think that Democrat government has to fully comply with the laws they passed, do they?

In a news release, Todd Myers, the group’s vice president for research, accused the state of “wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on frivolous and ineffective climate projects” and said the delay in reporting accurate emissions data hides the failures of state projects.

“Washington state claims to be a leader in climate policy but policymakers don’t even have recent data to determine if our policies are working,” Myers said in a news release.

Well, it’s a great way to shift some taxpayer money to donors and force the peasants to change their lives, eh?

In a statement, Ecology spokesperson Caroline Halter said that the department is “committed to providing more current emissions updates to lawmakers and the public” and will be able to do that “thanks to recent funding appropriated by the Legislature.”

Ah, so they are late because they wanted more taxpayer money. Scam.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday rescinding President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Executive Order 11246, which mandated government contractors take affirmative action.

The order more broadly ceases diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) “discrimination in the federal workforce, and in federal contracting and spending,” the White House noted.

The federal government’s hiring practices will now be merit-based, with employees being rewarded for “individual initiative, skills, performance, and hard work.”

Would he have done this if he had back to back terms? Most likely not. It really wasn’t on the radar. Now you have Godzilla in the china shop

Millions of federal DEI employees placed on leave as Trump’s administration dismantles programs

One of President Trump’s first executive orders targets millions of federal employees working on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and initiatives.

“Our country is going to be based on merit again,” said President Trump.

A memo from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management ordered leaders to place all staff working in DEI roles on paid leave by 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

In President Trump’s order, he says that DEI policies violate Federal civil rights laws and “undermine the traditional American values of hard work, excellence, and individual achievement in favor of an unlawful, corrosive, and pernicious identity-based spoils system.”

For the most part, these are people who really do not do anything to help American citizens nor the mission of the agency. Would Trump have gotten to this in a back to back 2nd term? BTW, the rumor is that they were all fired, but, no, most reports show they were put on paid leave, and we’ll have to see what happens with them now.

Who’s Up For A Climate Crisis (scam) Concert By Vagina Monologues Playwright?

Climate change concert event ‘Dear Everything’ hopes to inspire unity

V, the playwright formerly Eve Ensler, is hoping her new piece of theater can do for climate change what her “The Vagina Monologues” did for women’s rights.

“We’re living in a period where we’re so disconnected,” she says. “What we all have to do is connect — connect to the Earth and connect to each other.”

She hopes to give audiences a road map at the one-night-only staging of “Dear Everything,” with actors and activists Jane Fonda and Rosario Dawson speaking to the crowd. It will play Manhattan’s Terminal 5 on Jan. 30.

Doesn’t Jane Fonda live in Atlanta and Beverly Hills? Lots of fossil fuels.

“At a time when our planet is burning from the impact of global warming and human-made climate catastrophe, ‘Dear Everything’ is a powerful musical uprising,” Fonda said in an email.

The concert-musical hybrid has songs by Justin Tranter and Caroline Pennell, choreography by Christiana Hunt and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus.

V will play the narrator for a story with 10 singers as well as a youth choir. The show doesn’t spell out a single prescription for climate change but hopes to inspire collective action.

“It’s not necessarily about the politics of solution. It’s about the politics of connection,” says V. “I think it’s imaginative. I think it’s really calling on all of us to use our imaginations because that’s the greatest thing we have to really see a way out of where we are.”

Right, right, no politics. Seriously, 35 years of spreading awareness and almost none of them practice what they preach. They just bay at the moon.

“I was trying to find a way to create a story, to create pop music, that could really generate an awakening in people. Not by pounding them over the head, but by saying, ‘Listen to the kids. Listen to young people. They really have a vision of what’s coming because they can feel it in their bodies and they want a life.’”

Yup, 35 years of this crap. The kiddies have zero intention of reducing their own use of energy and traveling to take selfies and videos. And they definitely want to listen to old ladies, right?
