At UN, Trump Calls ‘Climate Change’ “Greates Con-Job Ever Perpetuated”

Trump calls climate change policy ‘greatest con-job ever perpetrated’, faults it for West’s decline

President Trump argued Tuesday that policies meant to mitigate the effect of climate change are all just a bunch of hot air, calling them “the greatest con-job ever perpetrated” in scathing remarks to the United Nations General Assembly.

“You know, it used to be global cooling. If you look back in the 1920s and 1930s, they said global cooling will kill the world,” Trump riffed during his wide-ranging speech. “Then they said global warming will kill the world.”

“Now they can just call it climate change, because that way they can’t miss,” he vented. “Climate change — because if it goes higher or lower, whatever the hell happens, is climate change.

“It’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world.”

Trump went on to argue that ominous predictions about the Earth’s temperature rising to dangerous levels due to fossil fuel emissions have been wildly overstated.

“All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes,” Trump groused without naming specific examples.

Too bad Trump didn’t point out that all the Elites attending the UN yearly conference all took fossil fueled flights to the U.S., and a goodly chunk took private flights, not even commercial. Then they took fossil fueled limos/SUVs to the UN. Would have been great if Trump had a slide show of all the climate cult believers getting off the planes and out of the vehicles.

“I’ve been right about everything, and I’m telling you that if you don’t get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail,” Trump crowed at another point. “I’m the president of the United States, but I worry about Europe.”

“The carbon footprint is a hoax made up by people with evil intentions, and they’re heading down a path of total destruction.”

The whole thing is about control of the peasants. It’s all authoritarian politics, and the peasants have been breainwashed to give away their money and freedom to government. And, for those who realize this, the Elites do not care. You will comply.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Political Show To Return Tuesday Or Something

Jimmy Kimmel’s show is returning to ABC on Tuesday, but not all stations will air it

Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show will return to ABC’s airwaves on Tuesday, nearly a week after it was suspended amid criticism of the host’s remarks about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

But many households across the U.S. still may not see the show. Sinclair, a company that operates more than 35 ABC affiliates across the U.S., said that it would replace Kimmel with news programming.

“Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming. Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return,” Sinclair said in a statement.

ABC’s announcement ends an impasse that had drawn national attention, plunging Disney into a political firestorm at the intersection of debates over free speech and “cancel culture.” But the Sinclair statement highlights how ABC’s decision is only part of the ongoing negotiations that would return Kimmel to TVs across the U.S.

Disney, which owns ABC, said in a statement Monday: “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.”

At the beginning ABC said it was a suspension, most likely because Kimmel was going to triple down on his stupid comments (not jokes, no punchline). Sinclair only owns 33 stations, so, is that a big deal? Will Nextar join in? Really, the majority of Kimmel’s small viewership comes from a few liberal markets, like DC, LA, NYC, but, he can still only generate around 1.1 million a night (some report under 800K). Will all the barking moonbats who advocated for Kimmel watch his show, or, will they still find it not entertaining?

LOL. “Entertainment”. Sinclair should run comedy shows as a counterpoint. You know the subject will be Trump Trump Trump.

You have to wonder, is ABC just riding out Kimmel’s contract till it expires in May of 2026, and then simply not bother to renew it? Why keep losing money? Advertising revenue is way down, the show costs a fortune to produce, and it generates ill will.

I expect a ratings boost for a couple days, then most will realize the show is neither funny nor entertaining, and only the super Trump deranged watch it, much like with the old Air America.

Six World Leaders on Navigating Climate Change, Without the U.S.

International collaboration on climate change is fraying. The Trump administration withdrew the United States from the Paris Agreement, the 2015 treaty aiming to limit global warming, and has penalized the renewable-energy business and promoted fossil fuels. Ten years after Paris, a vast majority of countries are not on pace to meet their climate targets. With the United States sidelined and China ascendant as a clean-energy superpower, the global map of alliances on climate action is being redrawn. On top of all this, the planet keeps warming.

Debates around climate change often focus on the world’s largest economies and biggest emitters. But much of the hard work of figuring out how to adapt — both to a hotter planet and to a new geopolitical landscape — is happening in countries that have contributed relatively little to the problem yet are still navigating complex climate-related issues. Hoping to better understand how global warming and the changing world order are affecting some of these often-overlooked places, I spoke with six world leaders from different geographic regions. I heard some common themes: the ravages of extreme weather, the difficulties posed by the Trump administration’s retreat. But these conversations also illustrated the intensely varied predicaments facing world leaders right now.

It’s Gridlock Week in Manhattan as U.N. General Assembly Starts

It’s that time of year when Midtown East in Manhattan both brims with action and comes to a standstill.

The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, starting Monday, will bring together more than 140 world leaders to discuss contentious issues like the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It is known by many diplomats as the World Cup of diplomacy.

But it is known by many New Yorkers as a pain in the neck.

The main event, which takes place this week along First Avenue between East 42nd and 48th Streets, brings with it impassable streets in Midtown East as well as intermittent closures citywide. The Department of Transportation is encouraging New Yorkers to use public transit and other “nondriving modes” for getting around Midtown over the next five days.

They want New Yorkers to take mass transit while the all the big shots, including the 6 mentioned above, take fossil fueled trips in big SUVs, along with their whole retinues. Climate doom is for you peasants.

Italian workers’ strike in solidarity with Gaza brings disruptions across the country

Thousands of protesters and strikers calling for solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza took to the streets in Italy on Monday, with some storming Milan’s central train station and clashing violently with police.

Italy’s grassroots unions, which represent hundreds of thousands of people ranging from schoolteachers to metalworkers, called for a 24-hour general strike in both public and private sectors, including public transportation, trains, schools and ports.

The strike caused disruptions across the country, with long delays for national trains and limited public transport in major cities, including Rome.

In Milan, tensions escalated when dozens of protesters dressed in black and armed with batons tried to smash the main entrance of the city’s central train station, throwing smoke bombs, bottles and stones at police, who responded with pepper spray. In Bologna, police used water cannons to disperse a crowd of demonstrators who blocked a highway.

Premier Giorgia Meloni condemned violent clashes sparked by some protesters as “shameful.”

“Violence and destruction have nothing to do with solidarity and won’t change a thing in the lives of people in Gaza,” she wrote on X.

Podcaster and Vice magazine co-founder Gavin McInnes used to be friends with Jimmy Kimmel, and in the wake of the ABC late-night host’s suspension, McInnes offered a postmortem of his career — blaming his “woke” second wife for the funnyman’s downfall into shrill leftism.

“When I knew him, he was a great guy and a very mean guy — like, in a good way, kind of punk,” McInnes reminisced on his Get Off My Lawn podcast. “I mean, the Jimmy Kimmel you saw with The Man Show and even before that, he was in sports radio. He used to contribute to Vice all the time. He was a very good cartoonist, believe it or not. And he would do comics for us, and he would do the Do’s and Don’ts with me. And I loved that he was mean… Be an asshole, it’s funny.”

The former mainstay on Fox News’ Red Eye went on to mention Molly McNearney, who worked her way up the writing staff on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live! in the mid-2000s and eventually married him. Kimmel reportedly left his first wife, Gina Maddy-Kimmel, for comedian Sarah Silverman in 2003, then got with McNearney after breaking up with Silverman.

Kimmel used to be funny and entertaining. The Man Show was great. Heck, perhaps he was a Democrat back then, but, you mostly didn’t know, but

She’s an insufferable liberal twat who ruined him… There’s pre-Molly and there’s post-Molly Jimmy Kimmel, just like Howard Stern. There’s pre-Beth and there’s post-Beth Howard Stern. And Jimmy Kimmel and Howard Stern are friends, and then Molly and Beth hang out and they discuss rescuing kittens and reproductive rights of cats… When these guys get their trophy wives — and I know Molly doesn’t look like a trophy — they want to get invited to the best dinner parties, and that means you have to please the wives. And what are women’s politics? They’re all woke. So these guys become woke to appease their trophy wife, and then it spills onto the show.

Yup, same thing with Stern, who was once funny. Nasty quite a bit, but, he could be funny. Entertaining. Then he became insufferable and a barking moonbat with the nuptials to Beth. Does this sound familiar? We literally just saw this whole thing play out in the media with (no longer) Prince Harry after he married Meagain, er, Meghan Markle, who turned him from a playboy, a good guy, someone who was highly respected in the UK military, who got a bit wild (sometimes too much), into this insufferable Progressive wacko who ranted about left wing causes and utterly ruined his relationship with his family, with the UK military, and the British people. We see and hear all the stories about how awful they are to people, including their staff, which they cannot retain. We saw the nasty things they said and wrote about their families.

This is most likely Kimmel behind the scenes, and it destroyed his show. First he lost his Man Show, then he lost his manhood.

Through the rest of the show segment, McInnes developed a point that he does not care about being “consistent” on cancel culture — that the left has already pushed too far and needs to feel the same pain they have inflicted on others for years. “The gloves are off. We’re hypocrites. Fuck you. You started this war,” he stated. “You kicked me in the balls, so I’m gouging out your fucking eyes.”

Surprise: Hamas Declares Victory After UK, Canada, Australia Recognize Palestinian State

It wasn’t like tons of people stated that recognizing the Palestinian state would be a victory for the terrorists who started this on October 7th, right?

Hamas declares ‘victory’ after UK recognition of Palestine

Hamas has declared victory for “the justice of our cause” after Sir Keir Starmer announced Britain would recognise Palestinian statehood.
In a video message on Sunday, Sir Keir insisted the move, one of the most significant shifts in British foreign policy in decades, was “not a reward for Hamas”.

But Mahmoud Mardaw, a senior Hamas official, claimed it represented “a victory for Palestinian rights and the justice of our cause” and would “send a clear message” to Israel.

On Sunday night, US president Donald Trump said the decision was “rewarding Hamas”. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, he added: “I don’t think they should be rewarded. I am not in that camp, to be honest.”

Canada and Australia, which have been overrun with Islamist just like the UK, also recognized Palestinian statehood

“With the actions of Hamas, the Israeli government escalating the conflict and settlement building being accelerated in the West Bank, the hope of a two-state solution is fading, but we cannot let that light go out,” Starmer said.

Alongside similar announcements of recognition from Canada and Australia, he described Hamas as a “brutal terror organisation”.

He said: “We are clear this solution is not a reward for Hamas, because it means Hamas can have no future, no role in government, no role in security.”

The group which is a designated terrorist organization by the UK government disagrees.

Jewish organisations, including the Board of Deputies of British Jews, condemned the decision, arguing there will be “deep dismay at the Prime Minister’s announcement across the Jewish community”, while the Campaign Against Antisemitism described the decision as “Sir Keir Starmer’s Neville Chamberlain moment”.

Meanwhile, the families of hostages held by Hamas said the UK and its allies were responsible for a “catastrophic failure of political, moral and diplomatic leadership” and said any recognition of Palestine must be contingent on the release of their relatives.

Britain is lost.
