Super Mean Trump Deported Mother Back To Laos Or Something

She’s not quite as bad as the violent Tren de Argula gang members Trump had deported that a leftist judge tried to stop, and then was ignored (which has made the NY Times very mad, unlike when Biden ignored the Supreme Court on loan forgiveness)

Milwaukee mother deported to Laos, a country she has never been to, where she doesn’t know anyone and doesn’t speak the language

A Hmong American woman who is a mother of five has been deported from the Milwaukee area to Laos, a country she has never set foot in, according to a new report.

Ma Yang, 37, is being held in a rooming house in Laos, surrounded by military guards, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. She does not speak the language, knows no one, and says the military is holding all of her documents.

“The United States sent me back to die,” Yang told the outlet. “I don’t even know where to go. I don’t even know what to do.”

“How do I rent, or buy, or anything, with no papers?” she added. “I’m a nobody right now.”

It’s so horrible! Will the ACLU also sue like they did to keep the gang members in the US?

The 37-year-old is also without insulin for her diabetes and is running out of her medication for high blood pressure.

Yang was born in Thailand and was a legal permanent US resident until she pleaded guilty to marijuana-related charges and served more than 2 years in prison. She took the plea deal after her attorney incorrectly stated it wouldn’t affect her legal permanent residency, which was later revoked, the Journal Sentinel reports.

Yang says she would’ve taken a longer sentence to keep her legal residency.

Oh, just a marijuana related charge, eh?

Yang was among 26 people indicted in a sweeping federal case in 2020. It alleged Yang helped count and package cash that was mailed to marijuana suppliers in California.

Yeah, drug running and money laundering. This is on her. Anyone who commits a crime while in the US on any legal status invalidates that status and means the person must leave. That’s it. There are consequences for criminal behavior, and, in this case, a felony. So, if she wants to cry, she should look at her own behavior. Of course, most of the news articles on this fail to mention anything beyond “marijuana related charges.”

Meanwhile

It’s almost like the president had all the laws and resources necessary to do this.

The Conversation Says Email Signatures Are Bad For Global Boil

This is hilarious

It is a real article, and, having read their stuff for years, I’m not surprised

Sending emails is an everyday activity, but it comes with an environmental cost. Emails use energy, and that energy often comes from burning fossil fuels, which in turn, contribute to increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide levels.

Um, what’s the carbon footprint on publishing a climamoonbat article online so that people can read it, which uses energy? Heck, The Conversation should just shut down if they want to Save The Planet.

The results showed that in Canada, where about 15 per cent of people include gender pronouns in emails, the resulting carbon emissions from this small change (three extra words) may contribute to the premature deaths of one person a year, according to the 1,000-ton rule.

It’s brunette’s week!

On a personal note, doing shoulder exercises with dumbbells while sitting on a weight bench is not that easy. Also, the doc said using a stationary bike should be OK. Nope. Lasted 3 minutes, pain was getting uncomfortable. Can’t really get any good cardio in right now.

Good News: Pro-Israel Group Has Sent Thousands Of Names To Trump Admin Of Hamas Supporting Protesters

This has made the UK Guardian, which never misses a chance to Blame Israel and take the side of the Jew hating Palestinians, very sad

Pro-Israel group says it has ‘deportation list’ and has sent ‘thousands’ of names to Trump officials

A far-right group that claimed credit for the arrest of a Palestinian activist and permanent US resident who the Trump administration is seeking to deport claims it has submitted “thousands of names” for similar treatment.

Betar US is one of a number of rightwing, pro-Israel groups that are supporting the administration’s efforts to deport international students involved in university pro-Palestinian protests, an effort that escalated this week with the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, an activist (WT: who hates Jews and Americans, supports Hamas, is pro-terrorism, and wants Israel and American destroyed) who recently completed his graduate studies at Columbia University.

Betar, which has been labelled an extremist group by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a Jewish advocacy group, said on Monday that it had “been working on deportations and will continue to do so”, and warned that the effort would extend beyond immigrants. “Expect naturalized citizens to start being picked up within the month,” the group’s post on X read. (It is very difficult to revoke US citizenship, though Trump has indicated an intention to try.)

As much as I support revoking naturalization status for those brought into the US and given easy citizenship despite being shady and Islamists (like all of Ilhan Omar’s Somalian comrades up in Minneapolis. And Ilhan), the chance of this happening is pretty damned law. It would be pretty darned hard and time consuming.

The group has compiled a so-called “deportation list” naming individuals it believes are in the US on visas and have participated in pro-Palestinian protests, claiming these individuals “terrorize America”.

A Betar spokesperson, Daniel Levy, said in a statement to the Guardian that Betar submitted “thousands of names” of students and faculty they believe to be on visas from institutions like Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, UCLA, Syracuse University and others to representatives of the Trump administration.

The group claims to have “documentation, including tapes, social media and more” to support their actions. It claims to be sharing names with several high-ranking officials, including the secretary of state, Marco Rubio; the White House homeland security adviser, Stephen Miller; and the attorney general, Pam Bondi, among others.

Those would be a lot easier, and, really, need to go. If they hate America so much why are they here? If they do not like the way we do stuff, why are they here? And why are we letting them in to start with? How many of these Islamists were let in by the Biden-Harris admin? All they seem to do is protest and trash America, not too mention wishing death on Jews. Harassing and assaulting people is grounds for any other person on a visa/green card to be booted out. If someone was going through the normal citizenship process they would be booted out.

Glick mentioned that in recent months he had been inundated with messages from students, professors and university administrators across the country, all providing him with information on protesters’ identities. He said that he vetted the legitimacy of those tips and that he believed Khalil and other pro-Palestinian protesters were “promoting the eradication, the destruction and the devolution of western civilization”.

Yeah, well, Khalil suddenly comes to the US to be a “student” but spends most of his time protesting and calling for the death of Jews and Americans. Unsurprisingly, the Israel hating UK Guardian takes zero time to actually dig into Khalil and the Jew hating, Israel hating, America hating, Islamic terrorism supporting students and staff.

Now The TikTokers Are Ruining Books With “Book Wealth”

How soon till the wackos start saying that having books is racist and/or classist?

How Bookshelf Wealth Became the Ultimate Status Symbol

This year, the ultimate status symbol isn’t having a Ferrari, or a Rolex, or even an expensive designer bag. According to TikTok, the ultimate flex is owning a great number of books and—this is critical—staging them well.

Since its inception in early 2024, the term ‘bookshelf wealth’ has racked up 1.9 million views on TikTok, inundating one’s social media algorithm with cozy rooms worthy of a Vanderbilt estate. Think sinkable armchairs, patterned wallpaper, sophisticated-looking decor objects, fine artwork, and, of course, many books.

Books have long been associated with intellect and prestige, but today, they are more than just literary treasures. The way they are arranged and showcased can speak volumes about the homeowner’s style. Whether you’re an avid reader or simply want to present an air of refinement, a well-styled bookshelf can serve as the focal point of a room, conveying a sense of affluence and cultural depth. Inherent in this look, we must add, one must actually like to read.

While the bookshelf wealth trend celebrates the culture and presence of books, there’s also a design element to it. It’s not about cramming your shelves full. Instead, the key lies in thoughtful curation, as well as consideration of the room’s overall aesthetic, from seating to textiles to interesting objects.

If you, too, have deliberately avoided the Kindle world and continue to treasure the physical beauty of books, own that in your personal space. Ahead, we’re sharing six utterly novel ways to achieve the bookshelf wealth look in your home.

You know most of these TikTok wackos aren’t actually reading them, for the most part. They’re just spending lots of money on books to look TikTok hip, that they’re special. I have 3 different book shelves, maybe a 100 books left, having given away quite a few to the library when I moved to the house from an apartment in 2009. And all the ones I left at the parents house. I also would get more from the library. Now I am mostly Kindle. I don’t have them on the shelves for status: I read them all. It’s comfy looking at them. It’s not about status. On the bright side, surveys show that young folks are actually reading more these days, so, I like that. I read about 75-90 a year.

Anyhow, if you visit the article you’ll truly get the idea that it’s all about the visuals for the TikTokers, for clout, not for saying “yup, I read them.”

Women’s Soccer Team To Change Name After Gender Confused Freakout

It just goes to show that some people are entirely too sensitive and moonbat

Women’s soccer team to change name after transgender backlash to marketing campaign

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Boston-based expansion team announced Friday that it will be changing its name. The change comes after a wave of transgender backlash to a marketing campaign it abandoned back in October.

The team was set to be named BOS Nation FC, which it announced in a branding event in the fall alongside a marketing campaign that featured the slogan “Too Many Balls.” The slogan prompted intense backlash from the transgender community, including an NWSL player.

A transgender player who goes by the singular name Quinn, who plays for the Seattle Reign, spoke out against the team’s branding announcement in a post on Instagram.

“Feels transphobic. Yikes,” Quinn wrote.

Really? That’s it? “Too many balls”?

The team quickly abandoned the slogan, issued a public apology for it, and even thanked those who spoke out against it.

“We fully acknowledge that the content of the campaign did not reflect the safe and welcoming environment we strive to create for all, and we apologize to the LGBTQ+ community and to the trans community in particular for the hurt we caused,” the statement said.

“Thank you to all who have held us accountable by calling for us to do better. We hear you and we will, together,” said another statement.

Good grief. They’re even going to change the name of the soccer team, which, IMO, is not a bad idea, because it’s a stupid name. This might work well for soccer teams in Europe, but, not the U.S. Of course, they’re changing it for uber-Woke and fear of a tiny percentage of the US population which has mental illness. It seems the team is more concerned with patronizing them than enticing everyone else to come support the team.

Meanwhile, the gender confused are upset about not being allowed to invade women’s spaces

NOAA Suspends Monthly Media Calls On Climate Doom

Is the job of the NOAA to spread fearmongering on how the World Is Going To End? Nope

Scoop: NOAA monthly media calls on climate change suspended

Monthly press calls featuring NOAA scientists detailing global climate conditions during the previous month have been suspended indefinitely, the agency told Axios.

Why it matters: While the data is still being provided publicly, a reduction in press coverage could reduce public awareness of climate change trends and NOAA research.

Zoom in: The monthly U.S. and global climate calls typically feature climate scientists from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) in Asheville, N.C.

They have been held each month for years, including during the first Trump administration and George W. Bush administration, both of which sought to edit climate science reports.

On these calls, reporters are typically briefed on the previous month’s U.S. and global average temperatures, and trends during the year-to-date.

Have any reporters asked why the data is constantly being changed so that the past looks cooler to make the current look warmer?

According to two sources outside the agency who were privy to deliberations from current employees, NCEI had trouble recruiting scientists to volunteer to be on the calls for fear of angering the administration by discussing human-caused global warming.

Good. There’s no need for a cult in the federal government.

What they’re saying: NOAA blamed the call suspension on a lack of staffing in the wake of cuts and in preparation for further layoffs.

“Due to the loss of a significant number of staff resulting from the recent release of probationary employees, the Deferred Resignation Program and employees retiring, NCEI will no longer be able to support the monthly NOAA Communications media briefing on the U.S. and global temperature and precipitation analyses and associated products,” an agency spokesperson stated via email.

Oh, well. Let me pull out the little violin.

Bummer: Second Columbia Hamas Supporter Arrested

And a 3rd has self deported

Second anti-Israel Columbia protester, Leqaa Kordia, arrested by Homeland Security for immigration violations — as third self-deports and flees to Canada

A second protester who took part in anti-Israel demonstrations at Columbia University has been nabbed by immigration officials, who also revoked the visa of another student “for advocating for violence and terrorism,” sources said Friday.

Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian who hails from the West Bank, was busted by Homeland Security agents Thursday for alleged immigration violations related to overstaying on an expired student visa, the sources said.

Kordia — who was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Newark, New Jersey — was first arrested in April 2024 for taking part in one of the protests on Columbia’s campus while overstaying on her twice-canceled student visa, according to the sources. (big snip)

Kordia first entered the US in 2016 on a tourist visa and obtained a student visa the next year, sources said. But in 2021, the feds terminated her visa for lack of attendance. She applied to have her revoked visa reinstated and was approved later that year.

But she again failed to attend classes, leading the feds to again terminate her visa in 2022.

So, she should have been forced to leave the US in 2022, as her visa was done. Kaput. She wasn’t here being a student. Instead, she decided to advocate for the death of Jews and Americans, to harass Jews, to call for the eradication of Israel and the overthrow of the US government in favor, in both cases, of an Islamic government. They showed their support for Hamas and Islamic terrorism.

And then there’s Ranjani Srinivasan, who came in on a student visa on January 19, 2024. And

As part of her visa process, she failed to disclose that on April 30, 2024, she received court summonses for obstructing vehicular or pedestrian traffic and unlawful congregation and refusal to disperse, both related to protests, according to sources.

These are violations of student visas, which would lead to revocation
