Rich Folks Worried About Global Boiling Driven Storms Build Better Homes In Path Of Storms

If these people were truly worried about the Doom from coastal storms they wouldn’t, you know, build homes at the coast, right?

Coastal homeowners turn to climate-resilient designs to combat worsening hurricane seasons

Forecasters are warning the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, which started June 1, could be an above-average year, potentially producing up to 19 named storms and 5 major hurricanes, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. As storms grow stronger and more frequent, a growing number of homeowners along the East and Gulf Coast are taking a proactive approach — building smarter, more resilient homes designed to withstand the forces of nature.

They do this every year, fearmongering about doom, despite every year being a threat from tropical systems. Some years will be bad, some won’t. It’s dealer’s choice. This truly highlights how much this has all be politicized.

In Crystal River, Florida, Gene Tener’s home stands out in more ways than one. Unlike most others in the area, his home is round — a design that does more than just offer panoramic views.

He said it initially drew curiosity from neighbors, but the house has already endured six hurricanes in five years, including Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm that struck the Gulf Coast in September. Research from Climate Central shows that human-caused climate change is warming ocean waters, which is fueling stronger and more intense hurricanes. Stronger storms often lead to more damage and higher insurance rates.

It’s pretty much not a bad idea to build more resistant homes, like they try and do in Tornado Alley. But, now they want to do it because of climate doom. I’m not going to get into all the stronger hurricanes, more hurricanes, fewer but stronger, etc yet again.

The aerodynamic shape of Tener’s home is built to reduce wind pressure by 30%. Inside, trusses fan out like spokes on a bicycle wheel, distributing storm forces to help keep the roof in place.

“You worry about the wind blowing off the roof,” Tener said of the main concerns for any home during a hurricane. “You worry about the rain. And you worry about flooding.”

Anchored deep into the ground, the home also includes flood vents to relieve water pressure and protect the foundation. With these features, the house is rated to withstand 190-mile-per-hour winds — a very strong Category 5 hurricane.

What they don’t say is how much it is. I guess this is for the rich folks who have the luxury of being climate cult members. But, realistically, Crystal River, Florida, is barely above sea level. You have to go at least 10 miles west before they land starts jumping higher. If you’re so worried you do not build there.

Fired USAID Leftists Plotting To Stop Trump Or Something

It would be a whole lot smarter and a better use of their time if they looked for jobs, right?

From the link

Some of the democracy-building experts President Donald Trump fired this year from the U.S. Agency for International Development and the State Department are now reapplying the skills and knowledge they built up over decades to undermine Trump’s power.

For years, these officials were stationed across the globe actively supporting opposition movements in autocratic nations. Now they’ve got time, a network of former colleagues and a growing sense of moral indignation.

“Take it from those of us who worked in authoritarian countries: We’ve become one,” said a currently employed federal official, who spoke to NOTUS on condition of anonymity. “They were so quick to disband AID, the group that supposedly instigates color revolutions. But they’ve done a very foolish thing. You just released a bunch of well-trained individuals into your population. If you kept our offices going and had us play solitaire in the office, it might have been safer to keep your regime.”

The former officials tell NOTUS they’re holding workshops on a tactic called “noncooperation.” They’re building a network of government workers willing to engage in even minor acts of rebellion in the office. And they’re planting the seeds of what they hope could become a nationwide general strike.

Oh, good, more workers Trump can fire. And the Supreme Court just ruled that the Trump admin, can, in fact, fire and reorganize federal Executive Branch agencies. They should start working on their resumes.

“Widespread practice of simple sabotage will harass and demoralize enemy administrators and police,” it says. “The saboteur may have to reverse his thinking… where he formerly thought of keeping his tools sharp, he should now let them grow dull; surfaces that formerly were lubricated now should be sanded; normally diligent, he should now be lazy and careless.”

Hmm, looking to be prosecuted, too!

“Getting people to understand that it’s part of a process is the training,” she told NOTUS. “It feels silly. ‘Why are we going to get ice cream?’ You’re building up that muscle and that bravery, and you’re building up your numbers. Today it starts with four, but tomorrow it’s 10. We’re helping them understand that is the organizing, and that is the process to get to a massive strike.”

Without skipping a beat, several pointed to “Star Wars” and said the show “Andor” is nothing short of a manual.

“Fascism is not creative,” said one former government expert in conflict. “There’s only so many ways to do it. That’s why it’s almost cliché to the point where we ask, ‘What are we, Darth Vader? The Empire? The Nazis?’ The comparisons draw ridicule because people who don’t know enough about it don’t realize there aren’t too many ways to do it. So, the tactics to counter them will still work, and there’s way more ways to be creative.”

These are very silly people. Ice cream breaks and Star Wars watch parties.

ZOMG: Trump Hires Scientists Who Think The Climate Crisis Scam Is A Scam

This has given the NY Times a big sad. How quick does this turn into cult propaganda?

Trump Hires Scientists Who Doubt the Consensus on Climate Change

climate doom yearly

Wait, I don’t have global heating on here?

The Energy Department has hired at least three scientists who are well-known for their rejection of the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change, according to records reviewed by The New York Times.

The scientists are listed in the Energy Department’s internal email system as current employees of the agency, the records show. They are Steven E. Koonin, a physicist and author of a best-selling book that calls climate science “unsettled”; John Christy, an atmospheric scientist who doubts that human activity has caused global warming; and Roy Spencer, a meteorologist who believes that clouds have had a greater influence on warming than humans have.

Consensus is not science. The consensus at one time was that the Sun went around the Earth. Dinosaurs were lizards. Ulcers were caused by stress. That plate tectonics was mule fritters. Really, the wackos have weaponized consensus, especially as it relates to the climate cult. Nowhere in the article are any of the three scientists disproven wrong. Just cultishly deemed wrong. And, yeah, water vapor is the number one greenhouse gas.

A vast majority of scientists around the world agree that human activities — primarily the burning of fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal — are dangerously heating the Earth. That has increased the frequency and intensity of heat waves, droughts and colossal bursts of rain like the storm that caused the deadly flooding now devastating central Texas.

Fuck you for using that killer flood for your cult propaganda. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself for doing this when the bodies haven’t even been buried yet.

In addition to his role at the University of Alabama, Dr. Spencer is a policy adviser at the Heartland Institute, a conservative group that rejects mainstream climate science. He previously served as a scientist at NASA and as a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation, a right-wing group responsible for creating Project 2025, a conservative blueprint for the new administration.

The mainstream scientific consensus on medicine was that certain ailments could be fixed by “bleeding” patients, usually using leeches. If someone had a fever they thought it was due to too much blood.

Michael Mann, a climate scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, expressed alarm that the Energy Department had hired the three scientists.

“What this says is that the administration has no respect for the actual science, which overwhelmingly points in the direction of a growing crisis as we continue to warm the planet through fossil-fuel burning, the consequences of which we’ve seen play out in recent weeks in the form of deadly heat domes and floods here in the U.S.,” Dr. Mann wrote in an email.

This is the same guy who refuses to debate. I’m not particularly happy using an article at creation.com, but, there are a couple lines of note

Actually, a major reason most scientists believe in evolution is that most scientists believe in evolution! This is a type of ‘confirmation bias’: the alleged scientific consensus was reached by counting heads, which themselves reached their conclusion by counting heads. If most of them were asked for actual evidence, they would likely give very weak answers outside their field of expertise.

For example, one of the world’s leading experts on fossil birds—and a staunch critic of the dino-to-bird dogma, is Dr Alan Feduccia, Professor Emeritus at the University of North Carolina. He remains an evolutionist, however, yet when challenged, his prime ‘proof’ was corn changing into corn!8

Is evolution correction? Possible. But, it cannot be fully proven at this time. It can be asserted.

As the famous author Michael Crichton (1942–2008), who had a previous career in medicine and science, said:

“Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.

“There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.”9

If the people who use consensus tell me it is a crisis won’t act like it’s a crisis in their own lives why would I believe their consensus on doom?

DHS Ending TPS For Hondurans And Nicaraguans

This is horrible, right?

You know what’s monstrous? People on “temporary” status since 1998, just chilling in the U.S. This might be more compassion worthy if this CBS article, and other articles, featured any people working hard and stuff, instead of living off the teet of the American citizens

U.S. to revoke Temporary Protected Status for immigrants from Honduras and Nicaragua, putting them at risk of deportation

The Trump administration said Monday it will soon revoke the legal immigration status of more than 70,000 immigrants from Honduras and Nicaragua, its latest effort to curtail humanitarian programs that allow foreigners to stay in the U.S. temporarily.

The Department of Homeland Security said it would terminate the longstanding Temporary Protected Status programs for Honduras and Nicaragua in early September, paving the way for those enrolled in the initiative to be at risk of deportation unless they have other legal means to remain in the U.S.

Roughly 72,000 Hondurans and 4,000 Nicaraguans — many of whom arrived in the 1990s — have work permits and deportation protections under the TPS policy, according to the official termination notices published by DHS on Monday.

Really, all they need to do is not renew the TPS, because the current 18 month stretch ended July 5, 2025.

The TPS policies for Honduras and Nicaragua were first created in 1999 (WT-it started on Dec 30, 1998), after Hurricane Mitch devastated parts of Central America, causing catastrophic floods and killing thousands.

In the official termination notices, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said TPS for both Honduras and Nicaragua was no longer warranted, arguing that conditions in the two countries had improved significantly and that they could receive their nationals.

Yeah, that hurricane was quite some time ago, so, yeah, things are better, and it’s time for them to return home. Those who wanted to become US citizens had plenty of time to attempt to do so.

Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada said the termination of TPS for Honduras and Nicaraguans would separate families and hurt U.S. businesses.

“These families have been here since the 1990s, working hard and contributing to our state and country for decades,” Cortez Masto said. “Sending innocent families back into danger won’t secure our border or make America safer.”

What danger? The hurricane was last century. Did CBS ask her what the danger was?

(DHS) “Temporary Protected Status was designed to be just that—temporary,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “It is clear that the Government of Honduras has taken all of the necessary steps to overcome the impacts of Hurricane Mitch, almost 27 years ago. Honduran citizens can safely return home, and DHS is here to help facilitate their voluntary return. Honduras has been a wonderful partner of the Trump Administration, helping us deliver on key promises to the American people. We look forward to continuing our work with them.

After conferring with interagency partners, Secretary Noem determined that conditions in Honduras no longer meet the TPS statutory requirements. The Secretary’s decision was based on a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services review of the conditions in Honduras and in consultation with the Department of State. The Secretary determined that, overall, country conditions have improved to the point where Hondurans can return home in safety. Additionally, under President Castro, Honduras has taken steps to welcome home their citizens, providing access to economic and food assistance programs, as well as labor integration and job training.

Democrats would prefer the permanent underclass of people brought in who can do menial labor.

You Should Think About Climate Doom Every Time You Have Bread Or Something

Having a slice with butter in the morning? Or some bagels? How about English muffins or biscuits? Bow to your deity of the climate cult

What does your toast have to do with climate change?

You probably don’t think about climate change as you butter your toast. But behind every slice of bread, there’s a crop that’s increasingly under threat. Globally, farmers are facing blistering heat, shorter rainy seasons, and crops that don’t grow like they used to. And yet, scientists and farmers are teaming up to fight back with new seeds, new knowledge, and a shared mission to protect the food on your table.

The rules of farming, once shaped by tradition and predictability, are being rewritten by the climate crisis. And yet, not all is lost. Across the globe, farmers, scientists, and institutions are joining forces: developing smarter seeds, rethinking how we work the land, and building resilience in the places where our food begins. Behind that piece of toast is a story of adaptation, science, and hope.

From the rice paddies of South Asia to the highlands of Latin America and the drylands of Africa, farmers are tackling the challenges posed by climate change head-on and CIMMYT is supporting them every step of the way. In Asia, farming communities are experimenting with new methods of growing food that protect their soil and water. In Bangladesh and Nepal, for example, digital tools are helping farmers to make climate-smart choices by blending tradition with innovation.

Across Africa, smallholder farmers are improving soil health and adapting to unpredictable weather patterns. With improved farming practices and access to real-time climate information, they are learning to not only survive, but also to thrive. In Latin America, soil, seeds, and rural economies are being regenerated through sustainable practices. Farmers in Colombia and Mexico are rebuilding the land while preserving agrobiodiversity, showing that sustainable farming can also be deeply local and cultural.

So, they’re doing agriculture? Adapting to changes in the climate which have always happened? The hell you say!

When you bite into a piece of toast, sip your morning coffee, unwrap a tamal, enjoy a bowl of millet porridge, or savor a plate of vegetable curry, you’re tasting the final step of a journey that began far from your kitchen. It started in dry valleys, on steep hillsides, or in humid lowlands, places where farming is shaped by sun, rain, risk, and resilience. And behind every harvest, there are hands like Tomasa’s, Francis’s, and Nirmala’s; people who rise early, adapt constantly, and work the land with care and hope.

Agriculture.

Because in the end, your toast is not just toast. It’s a story. And that story deserves to be known.

Piss off, cultists. Of course, what they really want is Government in charge of your food.

PRC Refuses To Comply With Feds On Title IX Regarding Gender Confused

Democrats: if the federal government says it’s so you have to comply! Arizona SB1070? Comply. Biden sending illegals to small town America? Comply. Obamacare? Comply!

Also Democrats: we’ll only comply when it’s something we want to comply with

Linda McMahon calls out Gavin Newsom as California officials reject proposal to keep state Title IX compliant

Education Secretary Linda McMahon told California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday that he will be hearing from Attorney General Pam Bondi after the state was found to be in violation of Title IX.

The California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) rejected the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights’ (OCR) proposed resolution agreement following transgender athlete controversies in high school athletics over the course of the school year.

Linda McMahon shared CDE general counsel Len Garfinkel’s letter to OCR regional director Bradley R. Burke on Monday.

“The California Department of Education (CDE) received the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights’ (OCR’s) June 25, 2025 Letter of Finding and Proposed Resolution Agreement in the above-referenced OCR matter,” the letter read.

“The CDE respectfully disagrees with OCR’s analysis, and it will not sign the Proposed Resolution Agreement.”

Hmm. If the People’s Republik Of California wants to do their own thing perhaps they shouldn’t have taken all that federal money for their schools, which means that Los Federales can dictate policies. Perhaps they shouldn’t be so gung ho to keep the Education Department, which gives whomever is in the White House the ability to make these kinds of demands. Of course, what is the Trump Education Department demanding? That biological males with gender delusions stop competing in sports against real women. That they not be in female locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms

Additionally, “The CDE will issue a Notice to all recipients of federal funding (Recipients) that operate interscholastic athletic programs in California requiring them to comply with Title IX. This will specify that Title IX and its implementing regulations forbids schools from allowing males from participating in female sports and from occupying female intimate facilities, and that Recipients must adopt biology-based definitions of the words ‘male’ and ‘female.’

Take their money away.

UN World Court To Issue Proclamation On July 23rd Or Something

It has no force of law, is utterly non-binding, but, it’s Super Important, you know!

World Court to issue climate change opinion on July 23

The top United Nations court will on July 23 issue a nonbinding opinion on countries’ legal obligation to fight climate change, a decision expected to be cited in climate change-driven litigation around the world, the court said on Monday.

The so-called advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, also known as the World Court, is also expected to address whether large states contributing the most to greenhouse-gas emissions should be liable for damage caused to small island nations.

So, it’s utterly meaningless, just a court ruling for the climate cult on feelings? What laws will this ruling be based on? We all know that they will rule in favor of the Cult of Climastrology, right?

The Inter-American Court of Human Rights issued a similar opinion last week finding that its 20 Latin American and Caribbean member states must cooperate to tackle climate change and not take actions that set back environmental protections.

I never got around to addressing that ruling, it’s just sitting in my Instapaper account (much better than Pocket, which is closing down, BTW). And not one article I read on the subject featured any reporter asking the members of that court if they had given up their own use of fossil fuels and gone carbon neutral in their own lives. I’d love to see someone sue through that court over the Amazon being cut down to build road for COP30, as well as block the 40K who plan to fly in to Brazil.

During two weeks of hearings before the World Court in December, wealthy countries of the global north broadly argued that existing climate treaties like the Paris Agreement, which are largely nonbinding, should be the basis for deciding countries’ responsibilities.

The Let’s Go Brandon Admin was involved, I believe, but, the Trump admin will blow any ruling off.

The World Court’s advisory opinion is part of a global wave of climate litigation as countries, organizations and individuals are increasingly turning to courts for climate action.

While nonbinding, the court’s interpretations of law carry a lot of legal and political weight. Experts say its opinion could set a precedent in climate change-driven lawsuits in courts from Europe to Latin America and beyond.

Well, we in the U.S. can watch other nations destroy their economies while taking away freedom, liberty, money, and life choices from the peasants. None of this will change the lives of the Elites.

Democrats Could Be Overthinking Their Strategy Or Something

I wasn’t aware that they had any strategy other than Orange Man Bad with a side of Republicans Are Evil

Democrats might be ‘overthinking’ strategy to recapture voters

Democrats are rethinking ways to recapture voters they’ve lost to President Trump in recent election cycles, and they may have been offered an important lesson in the New York mayoral primary.

In various post-mortems and focus groups done on the heels of their devastating 2024 election loss, Democrats have thoroughly examined exit polls and voter demographics in search of the gaps in their party’s appeal.

But Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha, who served as a senior adviser on Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) presidential campaign in 2020, said Democrats are “overthinking” the solution by analyzing the voters who flipped sides or skipped voting during the last election.

“It’s more simple than that,” Rocha said. “Just concentrate on people who are frustrated as hell and get both of them.”

Rocha pointed to the New York mayoral race as proof. He says progressive upstart-turned-party nominee Zohran Mamdani (D) was able to capture voters — including those who did not vote a few months ago in the presidential election — by talking about affordability and other tangible economic issues that appealed to them.

Rocha said voters “want anything that’s different” from the status quo when it comes to the cost of living.

If they want to settle on a hardcore Islamist Extremist and full on Jew hater masquerading as a hardcore Modern Socialist, have at it. Mamdandi won with around 20% turnout in a closed primary with ranked choice to Andrew Freaking Cuomo, and it was really the Youts who truly do not know better that drove the win. Youts that saw a crappy economy post-COVID, with Biden in the White House, and Democrats in charge of NY and NYC.

While many Democrats disagree with Mamdani’s politics, they say the campaign he ran shows the unwavering preeminence of economic issues. And Trump taught the same lesson in 2024, political observers say, by telling voters what they wanted to hear on the economy and his message on “draining the swamp.”

Trump campaigned on freedom and capitalism, Mamdani campaigned on Government giving people everything and being in charge of their lives. With zero idea how to do it.

But the New York City electorate is drastically different from the rest of the country, political observers say, noting someone like Mamdani may not appeal to moderates and centrists.

“Being a self-proclaimed democratic socialist … doesn’t play in swing districts. It plays in New York City primaries,” Del Percio said. “The Democratic candidates have to look more like Elissa Slotkin talking about the cost of living than they do Mamdani talking about the cost of living.”

Gee, you think? Why is NYC so unaffordable? Who has been and is now in charge of NYC? Really, if they want to go full on Modern Socialist for the 2026 midterms and 2028 general, this should be fun. Trump won’t be running in 2028, but, they’ll still run against him. If they want to run on Big Government in charge, that will be fun to watch.
