TG People Are Totally Winning Against The Stereotype Of “Ick Factor” Or Something

This is the kind if thing leftist wackjobs learn while getting themselves a $100,000 in debt while attending special snowflake colleges

Passing Privilege, the Gender Binary, and the Productive Power of Stereotypes

I’m not even going to attempt to delve into the passing privilege idiocy. Then we have gender binary, where nutjobs think that there being two sexes is completely unscientific, because man and woman is a social construct.

Those efforts for gay rights did pave the way for Americans, once they had gotten over their gay “ick” factor, to being to deal with the trans community. The trans “ick” factor still exists, primarily in the Old Confederacy but still nationwide as well, as manifested recently in South Dakota, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, and will take even more time to overcome. As I’ve said, these bills are a rear-guard action being taken against us because we are winning. But in our victory blindness, as Michaelangelo Signorile calls it, from marriage equality — which covered all members of the gay and trans community, as I described earlier — we have not been prepared for the ferocity of the onslaught. Adding genderqueer visibly into the mix, or, more specifically, failing to promote actual trans persons because so doing minimizes the lives of genderqueer persons, is not only short-sighted but potentially very damaging.

It’s like we’re speaking a different form of English from these Leftards. But, hey, they’re totally winning and stuff, despite all polls showing that normal people do not want gender confused people in their bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers, especially when it comes to their children.

The one with the penis. That one should definitely not be allowed in. Of course, the wackjobs think that gender is simply a social construct which can be fluid and redefined whenever someone wants.

Warmists: Media’s Biggest Failure Is “Ignoring the ‘Profound Crisis’ of Climate Change”

‘Climate change’ is a subject that many may say “yes, I’m very concerned” and then jump in their fossil fueled vehicles and completely forget about this non-existent threat that has nary a bit of influence on their lives, something that has caused them problems (except for the increase in cost of living from Warmist laws and regulations). This has made Warmists very upset, to the point of blaming the mostly Leftist media for not scaremongering enough regarding an “issue” that most really do not care about

The Media’s Biggest 2016 Failure Isn’t Donald Trump: It’s Ignoring the ‘Profound Crisis’ of Climate Change

Hey, did you hear the one about how the planet is dying quickly and we’re probably all doomed?

It’s true! Just this past week, the world got a fun update about just how much danger we’re in thanks to climate change. This one came courtesy of the West Antarctic ice sheet, which is, well, a giant sheet of ice in Antarctica and which is potentially disintegrating at a pace that, in the words of the New York Times, could help send sea levels rising enough to cause “a profound crisis within the lifetimes of children being born today.”

That seems like kind of a big deal, right? It kind of puts all of the more immediate fights we’re having in an ominous perspective, no? It’s the sort of topic you might expect, say, a presidential campaign to be taking more seriously, wouldn’t you think?

I read a lot of zombie fiction, but, I understand that they aren’t real and won’t suddenly become real. Warmists believe anthropogenic climate change is real and will doom us all, so, to solve this, they want lots and lots of taxes and more and more power shifted to centralized government.

Forgive the heavy sarcasm. Anyone who’s been watching the 2016 race will know that climate change has taken the furthest of backseats to a host of other issues. It got an indirect injection into the whirl of the campaign on Thursday, when Hillary Clinton angrily accused Bernie Sanders of lying about the money she’s getting from members of the fossil fuel industry. (She wasn’t quite telling the truth in that moment, by the way.) Candidates accusing each other of lying—now that is something the political media can get behind! Summaries of the back-and-forth duly popped up everywhere. Politico even got around to mentioning Clinton’s record on environmental issues—in the last couple of paragraphs of its story. Besides that, any extensive discussion of climate change has been very difficult to find. The lack of attention paid to it at presidential debates has become something of a running joke.

When it comes to it, ‘climate change’ is less of a serious issue than the debate over North Carolina’s HB2, regarding gender confused people using opposite biological sex bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers (and is also disappearing from the public view). Some people might care in theory, but, most vote with their pocketbooks, and ‘climate change’ is simply a theoretical issue, one which is not tangible.

This is all, to put it mildly, insane. At a certain point in this century, the rapid demise of the earth is going to be a problem that is much too difficult and dangerous to ignore. Alarm bells are everywhere—in frequent reports of record-breaking temperatures (it was just 71 degrees in Alaska!); in studies predicting the possibility of sudden, vast chaos and ruin; in pleas with the world to move even more aggressively to combat climate change than it has. The world has no wiggle room. Everyone needed to be freaking out at maximum speed a long time ago.

Perhaps people are simply tired of listening to Chicken Little’s yammer about utter doom. And watching the Chicken Little’s fail to practice what they preach.

And watching the Chicken Little’s prognostications fail to materialize. Warmists are like the guy standing in the street with a sign proclaiming the end is nigh, foaming at the mouth, yet, said doom never materializes.

If Elected, Trump Says He Will Totally Be “More Presidential” Or Something

No, really, but only if elected

(Breitbart ) During a town hall Sunday on Fox News Channel with GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Trump said that he will be “more presidential” and change his tone once he wins, but he said that does not mean he will not hit back harder if attacked first.

“Tone to me matters. Being presidential matters,” Trump told host Greta Van Susteren. “If somebody hits me, I have to hit them back. I have to. I’m not going to sit there and say, ‘I’m wonderful, I’m a president.’ I want to win. I will be so presidential you won’t believe it.”

Van Susteren asked him to expound on being “presidential.”

Trump responded, “It means maybe not be so aggressive, maybe not get so personal. But when people get personal with me, they say, oh, they don’t like my hair, okay? If I ever said I don’t like their hair it would be a headline. They’re allowed to say whatever they want to about me. My hair is not that bad is it? And it is my hair. But you know what happens? What happens is they hit me and I hit them back harder and, usually in all cases, they do it first. But they hit me and I hit them back harder and they disappear. That’s what we want to lead the country.”

He then added, “I will be so presidential, Greta, you will be so proud of me.”

Isn’t the idea of a primary campaign, and a general, to prove that a candidate is presidential? Not that they might decide to be presidential if they are elected?

As for the hitting back part, the problem there is knowing when one should hit back twice as hard and when one should respond simply with facts. And whether one should even hit back at all. We’ve been witness to an Obama administration that goes after political opponents willy nilly, even using the power of the federal government to intimidate opponents and critics. Do we want another bully as president?

I’ve mentioned this before, but, one thing that interested me about Donald Trump early on was that he was willing to put in play the principles of Vox Day’s book SJW Always Lie, which is not about what the SJWs stand for, their history, etc, it’s about recognizing them and dealing with them. Whether Trump has ever read this, I couldn’t tell you (Vox Day is a massive Trump supporter). That said, one of the principles is about never apologizing to a SJW. Another is hitting back twice as hard, because SJWs like to attack those who are defenseless, and will disappear like the cockroaches they are when hit back.

One thing Day discusses, though, is when to hit back, because not everyone is a SJW! You have to understand who deserves an apology and who doesn’t. The same goes for hitting back. Donald doesn’t seem to have a notion of who is a SJW and who isn’t. He seems to treat all critics as people who are shanking him in the back. Not particularly presidential.

If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.

NY Times: Say, Why Are Dems Freaking Out About Gender Confused Bathroom Law When There Are Serious, Real Issues?

The NY Times’ Frank Bruni is Very Upset about HB2, and is, obviously, Blaming Republicans and a hilarious, clueless manner

The Republicans’ Gay Freakout

OUR infrastructure is inexcusable, much of our public education is miserable and one of our leading presidential candidates is a know-nothing, say-anything egomaniac who yanks harder every day at the tattered fabric of civil discourse and fundamental decency in this country.

But let’s by all means worry about the gays! Let’s make sure they know their place. Keep them in check and all else falls into line, or at least America notches one victory amid so many defeats.

That must be the thinking behind Republican efforts to push through so-called religious liberty laws and other legislation — most egregiously in North Carolina — that excuse and legitimize anti-gay discrimination. They’re cynical distractions. Politically opportunistic sideshows.

Well, not, that’s very interesting, considering that it was the city of Charlotte, NC, run by Democrats, which initiated this whole thing with their passage of a gender confused bathroom law. The NC law, HB2, did a few simple things, one of which was to restrict local cities from forcing private businesses to allow transgenders to use the bathroom, locker room, and showers of their “gender identity”. If a company wants to do this, they are welcome to do so. It is their choice.

I thought liberals approved of choice. No?

As for the real issues, yes, we have them. So, why are so many Democrats, like Frank Bruni, so utterly concerned with a law that simply reaffirms freedom of choice for private entities as to who uses their bathrooms? Mention the danger from ISIS and radical Islam, and liberals mostly shrug and say it’s much ado about nothing. Gender confused in bathrooms? 5 alarm fire!

BTW, if the public educations system is “miserable”, whose fault is that? It’s not Republicans who run it, are the majority of teachers, and control unions.

And the Republicans who are promoting them are playing a short game, not a long one, by refusing to acknowledge a clear movement in our society toward L.G.B.T. equality, a trajectory with only one shape and only one destination.

A confused man wanting to use the ladies room (bathroom, locker room, showers) is not equality, it’s a privacy issue, among others, especially when some who aren’t TG will take advantage to spy on women (and vice versa for confused women). But, enforcing compliance is super important to Leftists, rather than fixing our infrastructure.

THE party’s anti-gay efforts not only undermine its pro-business stance but also contradict conservatives’ exaltation of local decision making. The North Carolina law was drafted and passed expressly to undo and override an ordinance in the state’s most populous city, Charlotte, that extended L.G.B.T. protections against discrimination to transgender people who want to use bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity. The law went so far as to forbid any municipality from instituting its own anti-discrimination protections, lest they contradict the state’s.

Wow! That is one seriously convoluted, and deluded, argument. First, Conservatives understand the primacy of the States and the People, as the 10th Amendment notes. Furthermore, as noted above, HB2 reaffirms that it is the choice of the businesses as to whether they will allow the gender confused to use the bathroom of their gender identity.

Let’s also note again, Democrats loved when the federal government said that state law could not be primary, when it was Arizona’s (and other states’) illegal alien laws. HB2 simply reaffirms, as with all states, that state law takes precedence over local law. This all goes to show that Liberals aren’t concerned with law nor deeply held beliefs, they are interested in feelings based on the moment. It’s a great government model, is it not? /sarc

One thing related I do want to note. I’ve mentioned Fullstream Brewery in Durham in at least one post, as complaining about not being able to build gender neutral bathrooms, and they’ve been big complainers in many local news articles about HB2. I reached out to them, and, according to the company, they’ve had a policy in place for 5 years allowing transgenders to use the bathroom of their choice

So, there is at least one company who does this, and, if they want to, that is their choice. Government should not stop them, and HB2 reaffirms that it is the choice of the private entity. Some may not like it, and they can choose to not engage in commerce with that business. HB2 is most assuredly pro-business, rather than Government telling them they must do something.

Say, Does Climate Change Make It Immoral To Have Kids?

Well, yeah, at least for Warmists, as they indoctrinate their children to act as brain dead cultists, as the parents and other Warmists constantly scare the kids about a doomed world based on fantasy, wishful thinking, and failed computer models. Of course, that’s not what Cult of Climastrology member Dave Bry is referring to

Does climate change make it immoral to have kids?
Bringing children into a disintegrating environment used to be a theoretical fear. Now it’s a very real one

(Could probably insert a facepalm and end this all after just the headline and subhead)

But there is a whole other potential person to consider, too – the new life that you are bringing into the world without asking first.

It’s not really fair. For while the world is a wonderful place, one we humans have made nicer for ourselves with wonderful inventions like books and record players, penicillin and pizza, it’s also a really awful place, one we’ve ravaged with deforestation and smog, nuclear weapons and mountains of pizza delivery boxes and other garbage.

The awfulness seems to be getting worse, especially now that climate change has sped up – sea level rise that was supposed to take centuries has recently been projected as taking just decades. This complicates the already difficult decision of whether to have a kid.

We’re living through what scientists call the “Sixth Extinction”, an era of precipitous decline in the number of species able to live on the planet. The last mass extinction, the fifth, happened 444m years ago, when the water, where all life on Earth lived, got too cold, and 86% of the little hexbug creatures that crawled around the sea floor froze to their demise.

If you’re thinking the rest is

and

you’d be correct. Oh, and Mr. Bry and spouse did go and have a child, hence, he’s a climahypocrite.

A Few Triangle Businesses Take Super Brave Stance Against NC’s Gender Confused Bathroom Law

Why, yes, liberals are still having hissy fits over the gender confused bathroom law

(Raleigh News And Observer) There’s no more men’s room at Durham’s Old Havana Sandwich Shop. No women’s room, either. That’s because owners Roberto Copa Matos and Elizabeth Turnbull decided last week to change their restaurant’s single-stall bathrooms into unisex restrooms.

The couple are among the bar, restaurant and small-business owners in the Triangle who are expressing their opposition to the controversial new law that requires transgender residents to use the public restroom of their biological sex.

“For us, it just made a lot of sense,” Turnbull said this week. “It just never seemed like a pressing issue until it was.”

So, they didn’t care in the least until they could pander to a some hardcore Progressives and a tiny number of gender confused people. This is a completely brave, brave stance, what with those bathrooms being single stall, eh?

Like Old Havana Sandwich Shop, some businesses converted or plan to convert their single-stall bathrooms to unisex. Others used the opportunity to remind customers they already have unisex bathrooms. Some hung signs opposing the law. A few struggled with what, if anything, they might be able to do with their multiple-stall, gender-specific bathrooms to make transgender customers feel welcome. (snip)

Like the owners of Old Havana, Durham restaurant owner Mattie Beason decided to change the men’s and women’s single-stall bathrooms into unisex restrooms at Mattie B’s Public House. “It was in response,” Beason said this week. “It’s giving our state a bad reputation.”

Chris Carini, who has owned Linda’s Bar & Grill in Chapel Hill for five years, bought signs to change two of his single-stall bathrooms to gender neutral. The restaurant also has gender-specific bathrooms. “It’s the right thing to do,” said Carini, who emphasized he trains his staff to make everyone feel welcome and that this move is a continuation of that training.

I’m waiting for the brave, brave shop owners to convert their multi-occupancy bathrooms to unisex and/or allow gender confused people to use whichever bathroom they want. Just about everyone doing this has single occupancy bathrooms.

Sean Wilson, owner of Fullsteam brewery in Durham, said he tried to install unisex bathrooms in 2010 when the brewery opened, but the city wouldn’t approve it. The brewery is so large that big, multistall bathrooms, which ended up being gender specific, were required, he recalled. Wilson said he has two options: either add a third bathroom or modify the current ones. “It’s not an easy fix,” he said.

Sure it is: they can just put up a sign saying the gender confused can use whichever biological bathroom they identify with. Absolutely nothing within HB2 stops this, and, in fact, allows it. Since HB2 reinforces that state law takes precedence over local law, Durham (which is a vastly left leaning city and county) cannot stop it. Take a Brave stance, Sean! Make the bathrooms open for transgenders! You can do it man, it’s an easy fix.

If there’s any business with multi-occupancy bathrooms that have made them gender neutral or made a specific announcement that transgenders can use whichever they want here in NC, I’d love to know.

Obama Has A Sad That Iran’s Not Following The “Spirit” Of The Nuclear Deal

Interestingly, he seems less upset over Iran than he does with fellow Americans who disagree with Obama politically

(The Hill) President Obama on Friday criticized Iranian leaders for undermining the “spirit” of last year’s historic nuclear agreement, even as they stick to the “letter” of the pact.

Of course, Iran has actually broken the “letter” of the pact, not just the “spirit”, but, one should not expect Obama to criticize, because his “legacy” depends on Iran being good little boys (not girls, because women aren’t treated that well).

In comments following the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, Obama denied speculation that the United States would ease rules preventing dollars from being used in financial transactions with Iran, in order to boost the country’s engagement with the rest of the world.

Instead, Obama claimed, that Iran’s troubles even after the lifting of sanctions under the nuclear deal were due to its continued support of Hezbollah, ballistic missile tests and other aggressive behavior.

These are little things in Obama’s World Of Cares. He must be very surprised that Iran is doing these things. If only someone could have foreseen this.

“Iran so far has followed the letter of the agreement, but the spirit of the agreement involves Iran also sending signals to the world community and businesses that it is not going to be engaging in a range of provocative actions that are going to scare businesses off,” Obama said at a press conference.

“When they launch ballistic missiles with slogans calling for the destruction of Israel, that makes businesses nervous.”

Really? It makes businesses nervous? How about the people in the nation that is being threatened with destruction, and has the most concern when it comes to Iran building a nuclear weapons, which they are allowed to do in just 8-10 years? Think they might be nervous? Think Obama cares?
