In The Bag Journalists Getting Concerned Over Hillary’s Health

I’m sure you’ve heard the news and seen the video of Hillary collapsing. Many leftists were Very Upset by the use of the word “faint”, so, let’s say she collapsed. We were told that she felt unwell, that she was overheated (despite not being a particularly warm day), and that she had pneumonia. Which should probably make all her big moneyed donors happy, being that she attended fundraisers Friday. What’s the over/under on her being contagious?

We’re told that she wobbled a bit. Does this look like wobbling?

The reverse angle is even worse. We’ve been told that she was thrown in the vehicle like a sack of meat. Thankfully, there were citizens with video, because the press wasn’t even told she was bolting. And, while there are some serious hot takes by the leftist media, and some major ass covering for Clinton by some in the media, others are getting a bit concerned. Such as Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post

Hillary Clinton’s health just became a real issue in the presidential campaign

Hillary Clinton falling ill Sunday morning at a memorial service on the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks will catapult questions about her health from the ranks of conservative conspiracy theory to perhaps the central debate in the presidential race over the coming days.

“Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen,” spokesman Nick Merrill said. “During the ceremony, she felt overheated, so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment and is feeling much better.”

What that statement leaves out is that a) it came 90 minutes after Clinton left the ceremony b) reporters — or even a reporter — were not allowed to follow her and c) the temperature in New York City at the time of Clinton’s overheating was in the low 80s. (A heat wave over the eastern United States broke last night/this morning.) (snip)

Clinton may well be totally fine — and I certainly hope she is. But we are 58 days away from choosing the person who will lead the country for the next four years, and she is one of the two candidates with a real chance of winning. Taking the Clinton team’s word for it on her health — in light of the episode on Sunday morning — is no  longer enough. Reasonable people can — and will —  have real questions about her health.

There’s quite a bit more in this admission from Cillizza, which gets to the very heart of the issue: Hillary doesn’t seem healthy. She may be healthy, and it could all be just anecdotal. Optics matter. Consider that McCain sure appeared healthy in 2008, yet, the press was musing and “just wondering” and demanding more and more information on his health. Heck, they wanted Palin’s health records in full, too boot.

Hillary Clinton’s worrisome wobble

Worse, Clinton’s shaky early departure from a Sept. 11 commemoration ceremony in New York reinforced ugly speculation by Trump’s team that she is suffering from some kind of debilitating illness, possibly linked to the concussion she suffered late in her tenure as secretary of State. The clean bill of health she’d received from her physician this year did nothing to quiet those rumors.

Clinton didn’t faint at Sunday morning’s event, exactly; the video I saw showed her wobbling into her van, shifting awkwardly from foot to foot. By any measure, she did not look well. Having experienced fainting spells for the last year that have turned out to be neither meaningful, preventable nor attributable to any particular cause, I’ve learned how confusing such spells can be. “You might drink more water,” doctors have yawned in my direction. Still, I’m not running for president.

She would have face-planted if people hadn’t held her up. Not a wobble. She collapsed Most of the rest is just a whine about Trump, because, despite early protestations from Ms. Warnke, she’s in the bag. Even she understands that optics matter. And, in today’s social media driven world, people will see those videos. They’ll see the coughing. They won’t take the press’ word that Hillary is fine. They’ll want proof. And, if they don’t get it, if the issue festers, we’ll get things like this

Hillary is already extremely untrusted. When they take 90 minutes to come out with an excuse, even if real, speculation will run rampant. And we’ll get things like this, but Dilbert creator Scott Adams, who says the race for president is (probably) over

You probably wonder if the “overheated” explanation is true – and a non-issue as reported – or an indication of a larger medical condition. I’m blogging to tell you it doesn’t matter. The result is the same.

Here’s why.

If humans were rational creatures, the time and place of Clinton’s “overheating” wouldn’t matter at all. But when it comes to American psychology, there is no more powerful symbol of terrorism and fear than 9-11 . When a would-be Commander-in-Chief withers – literally – in front of our most emotional reminder of an attack on the homeland, we feel unsafe. And safety is our first priority.

Hillary Clinton just became unelectable.

That’s surely a bit over the top, but, what if she has more incidents? People aren’t going to forget this. What if she has a coughing fit during a debate, or some incident? Disappears for a bit? Think that won’t matter?

Trump Uses Obama’s Words Against Hillary’s “Baskets Of Deplorables”

Hillary tried walking back, just a tiny bit with a non-apology apology, her “baskets of deplorables” comment. And, in all fairness, some of Trump’s supporters are deplorable. But, do you know what? Many of Hillary’s supporters are also deplorable. That’s a post, perhaps, for another day. In the meantime

(The Hill) Donald Trump retweeted an old post from President Obama to mock his Democratic rival’s recent controversial comment, in which she characterized half of Trump’s supporters as “deplorable.”

“RT if you agree: We need a President who is fighting for all Americans, not one who writes of nearly half the country,” Obama tweeted in September of 2012.

“You know, just to be grossly generalist, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Clinton said on Friday night.

Obama’s tweet was a response to Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” gaffe, in which he said nearly half of Americans were so dependent on the government that they were likely to vote for Obama “no matter what.”

Of course, that account was run by Organizing For America, O’s hardcore organization, so, those weren’t O’s actual words. But, most wouldn’t realize that it wasn’t O unless signed B.O. The Hill’s Paulina Firozi sure didn’t. Regardless, this was O’s account. Hillary does not represent American’s. Only certain ones. Heck, she doesn’t even represent all the people who plan on voting for her. She’s for the rich folks that donate. She’s for herself. Everyone else is a peon there to worship her and do what she says.

Is Trump any better? We don’t know. He doesn’t have the political record to make a determination. He’s certainly a damned site better than Hillary.

9/11 Fifteen Years Later: Remember The Horror (Sticky For Day)

Today marks the 15th anniversary of that dark day, when Islamic jihadis killed 2,996 of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones. In the years since, many more have died from diseases from the pollutants. In the years since, Islamic jihadis have killed and wounded tens of thousands, many of who are other Muslims who haven’t bought into their cult of death.  Four years ago, the USA Today is wondered if 9/11 is becoming just another day, similar to Pearl Harbor Day. Based on the limited coverage by some news outlets, it may be.

People wonder why we should Remember the day in an overt fashion, unlike, say, Pearl Harbor day. Well, we defeated the Japanese within a few years. It was a different type of war. 9/11 was when we were attacked on our continent by people who will not stop anytime soon, an enemy that is not centralized by a nation, who spread according to their religious tenets. Al Qaeda is still around. Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram, the rise of ISIS. There are numerous Islamist groups out there. And we cannot forget that it is not just about the violence, but about those who use our own laws, founding documents, and societal mores against Western nations to slowly infiltrate and change our nations. The 9/11 Commission chairman has stated that the threat from Islamic terrorism is worse now than in 2001.

California Gov Jerry Brown Takes Fossil Fueled Trip To Sign ‘Climate Change’ Legislation

It’s always extremely amusing when a member of the Cult of Climastrology shows their utter hypocrisy

(The Verge)  California Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation today to extend the state’s ambitious climate change law, the Associated Press reports. The new measures will increase California’s efforts to curb climate change and limit pollution.

The new legislation, which was signed by the Democratic governor in a Los Angeles park amid protests from oil companies and Republicans, will extend the state’s climate change law passed in 2006. That law aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. The new law extends those targets, aiming to slash emissions 40 percent below the 1990 levels by 2030.

Brown called the new law the most aggressive target enacted by any government in North America, the AP reports. It will “keep California on the move to clean up the environment,” Brown said before signing the new legislation.

He signed them at Vista Hermosa State Park. It’s roughly 388 miles from Sacramento, the capitol of Brokeifornia, to the park. The only question is “did he fly or drive?” Because we can be 100% assured he did not walk or bike.

(NPR) In a statement, California Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Allan Zaremberg said, “Taken together, SB32 and AB197, impose severe caps on the emission of greenhouse gases in California, without requiring the regulatory agencies to give any consideration to the impacts on our economy, disruptions in everyone’s daily lives or the fact that California’s population will grow almost 50 percent between 1990 and 2030.”

Of course, the jobs will go elsewhere.

At 1%er Fundraiser, Hillary Smears Half Of Trump Supporters

She’s ripped off her mask

(Fox News) Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton caused an uproar late Friday after telling a fundraiser audience that half of Republican nominee Donald Trump’s supporters could be described as part of a “basket of deplorables.”

The former secretary of state, who described her own remarks as “grossly generalistic”, said Trump had bolstered people who are “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it.” She did add that Trump’s other supporters are frustrated by hard times and merit sympathy.

“They are just desparate for change,” Clinton said. “They don’t buy everything [Trump] says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different.

Clinton was speaking at an LGBT fundraiser in New York City, where she encouraged supporters to “stage an intervention” if they have friends considering voting for the Republican nominee.

Is this a “47%” moment for Hillary? Probably not, because the media will be behind her on her smearing of citizens. And the media is stuck on Trump’s Putin statements

Well, she didn’t say she would be like that for all Americans. Just for the ones who support her

(Breitbart) “Just when Hillary Clinton said she was going to start running a positive campaign, she ripped off her mask and revealed her true contempt for everyday Americans,” Senior Communications Advisor for the Trump campaign Jason Miller said in a statement.

“Tonight’s comments were more than another example of Clinton lying to the country about her emails, jeopardizing our national security, or even calling citizens ‘super-predators’ – this was Clinton, as a defender of Washington’s rigged system – telling the American public that she could care less about them,” he said.

He said it was “truly deplorable” that Clinton signaled contempt for Trump voters in front of her wealthy donors.

“Clinton revealed just how little she thinks of the hard-working men and women of America,” he concluded.

Oh, no, she thinks a lot of them. How to make sure they are under her thumb, how to raise their taxes and cost of living, how to make sure they are good little underlings, and so on. You are all here to serve her.

Is Obama Pushing Amnesty And Bringing In “Syrian” Refugees In His Weekly Address On 9/11?

Barack Obama gives what is a very nice Weekly Address on the 15th anniversary of 9/11. He’s given lots of different messages across the years. In 2009, he stressed service. He’s called for tolerance towards Islamists. He’s talked about peace in the Middle East as his super awesome plan in Afghanistan and Iraq came to fruition (sic). Last year he went with pushing service and patriotism. Or, is that people performing service are patriotic? This year we get

Weekly Address: Upholding the Legacy of Those We Lost on September 11th

Fifteen years ago, a September day that began like any other became one of the darkest in our nation’s history. The Twin Towers were reduced to rubble. The Pentagon was in flames. A Pennsylvania field burned with the wreckage of an airplane. And nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost. Sons and daughters, husbands and wives, neighbors and colleagues and friends. They were from all walks of life, all races and religions, all colors and creeds, from across America and around the world.

This weekend, we honor their memory once more. We stand with the survivors who still bear the scars of that day. We thank the first responders who risked everything to save others. And we salute a generation of Americans—our men and women in uniform, diplomats and our intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement professionals — who serve, and have given their lives, to help keep us safe.

A lot has changed over these past 15 years. We’ve delivered devastating blows to the al Qaeda leaders that attacked us on 9/11. We delivered justice to Osama bin Laden. We’ve strengthened our homeland security. We’ve prevented attacks. We’ve saved lives.

Interestingly, Obama faces a veto override over the bill that allows citizens to sue Saudi Arabia over 9/11, which was passed unanimously by the Congress.

At the same time, the terrorist threat has evolved, as we’ve seen so tragically from Boston to Chattanooga, from San Bernardino to Orlando. So in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and beyond, we’ll stay relentless against terrorists like al Qaeda and ISIL. We will destroy them. And we’ll keep doing everything in our power to protect our homeland.

Kinda hard to destroy them when he won’t name who they are. Still, the address is hitting all the points.

As we reflect on these past 15 years, it’s also important to remember what has not changed—the core values that define us as Americans. The resilience that sustains us. After all, terrorists will never be able to defeat the United States. Their only hope is to terrorize us into changing who we are or our way of life. That’s why we Americans will never give in to fear. And it’s why this weekend we remember the true spirit of 9/11. We’re still the America of heroes who ran into harm’s way; of ordinary folks who took down the hijackers; of families who turned their pain into hope. We are still the America that looks out for one another, bound by our shared belief that I am my brother’s keeper, I am my sister’s keeper.

Remember, Obama was blaming the U.S. and yammering on about al Qaeda’s lack of empathy in an opinion piece days after 9/11. Even back then he was super concerned with not being mean to Islamists.

Anyway, Obama ends the weekly address this way

In the face of terrorism, how we respond matters. We cannot give in to those who would divide us. We cannot react in ways that erode the fabric of our society. Because it’s our diversity, our welcoming of all talent, our treating of everybody fairly—no matter their race, gender, ethnicity, or faith—that’s part of what makes our country great. It’s what makes us resilient. And if we stay true to those values, we’ll uphold the legacy of those we’ve lost, and keep our nation strong and free. God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

Does it seem that Obama is referring to illegal aliens, letting in all those “Syrian” refugees (who are mostly not from Syria, and seem to mostly be fighting age males, as we’ve seen in Europe. Oh, and very, very few are Christians from the area), and, since this is a big National Conversation of late, the gender confused? And even the current #BlackLivesMatter schtick? Is it just me, or do you see that part and think the same thing? It’s a strange line to put into a weekly address on the 15th anniversary on 9/11.

At least it is not as bad as Jill Stein, Green Party candidate, who went 9/11 Truther. But, perhaps he was rushed, seeing as he took most of Friday off, after a little statement on North Korea blowing off another nuke, to play golf.
