Thanks, Obama: Foreign Inspired Domestic Terrorist Attacks On The Rise

How’s that hope and change working out?

(NJ.com) The greatest terrorism threat facing New Jersey is likely already here, according to an annual counter-terrorism report that found domestic attacks across the U.S. were on the rise.

The 2017 “threat assessment” from the state Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness ranks homegrown violent extremists as the single-highest threat to the New Jersey, months after the Garden State saw its first major terror attack since 9/11 with bombings allegedly carried out by an Elizabeth resident.

Chris Rodriguez, the office’s director, said that incident shows “the public is really on the front lines” in an era of lone wolf assaults.

The report, which was declassified and released by the office on Tuesday, found homegrown violent extremists — defined as those inspired by foreign extremist groups but radicalized in the countries where they live — were the only category presenting a “high” threat level to the state.

Remember all the freakout about the “Sovereign Citizen” movement, and concerns about attacks on Muslims and the gender confused and such? Remember when the DOJ painted Conservatives as dangers? Well, the people we told you were a danger, those who become hardcore radical Islamists, are still the danger.

John Cohen, a Rutgers University professor and former official at the federal Department of Homeland Security, told NJ Advance Media the report’s findings are “in line with what we’re seeing nationally.”

“Today the most significant threat facing the U.S. is people who are inspired by extreme ideology, willing to commit mass murder on behalf of that ideology, but unconnected to any specific terrorism organization,” he said.

Of course, he tries to white wash it

They are often “ideologically ignorant,” meaning they have only a surface-level understanding of the politics or religion they espouse, he said. They may have “behavioral or mental health issues.” And they act alone.

And that’s why this grows, because certain people refuse to see what’s in front of their eyes.

BTW, this is just NJ, a hotbed of Progressive ideology.

Project Veritas Exposes Sore Losers Stink Bomb Plots

Just imagine that a left wing group had published video like the following: there would be Force 10 Apoplexy from Democrats and their compliant media

(Daily Caller) Video released on Monday by James O’Keefe of Project Veritas purports to show a group of left wing activists plotting to use butyric acid stink bombs to disrupt a pro-Donald Trump inauguration event.

The edited video shows three members of the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition discussing releasing stink bombs in the HVAC system of the National Press Club, where a pro-Trump event dubbed Deploraball will be held on Thursday.

The coalition is part of a network of left wing groups that plan to disrupt various Trump inauguration events. A group operating with the hashtag #DisruptJ20 plans to destroy property, carry out blockades and sow other chaos leading up to the inauguration. (RELATED: Inauguration Protesters Plan To Destroy Property, Disrupt Balls)

In the video, which was recorded last month, a coalition member named Scott Green explains what he hoped to achieve by using the butyric acid. The stink bombs would “ruin [event attendees’] outfits or otherwise make it impossible to continue with their plans. Make sure they get nothing accomplished,” he says in the video.

There should be no surprise that Leftist groups have these plans. There are surely many, many more that haven’t been caught. You can see the video at the Daily Caller link or Project Veritas. The information and full videos were given to the anti-terrorist law enforcement and the Secret Service.

Remember when there were all sorts of Right leaning groups attempting to utterly disrupt Obama’s inauguration? That’s right, we didn’t bother.

Elsewhere, a biker group is promising a “wall of meat” to keep the unhinged leftist protesters at bay.

Sore Losers Call Trump A Sore Winner Or Something

Ever since the election results came in, Democrats have been the ultimate sore losers, and the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank has been a participant. He’s attempted to mansplain the woman card to Kellyanne Conway. He’s whined numerous times about Russia. He’s stated that the election was rigged. He’s essentially been a sore loser. Now we get

Trump gets no respect. That’s because he hasn’t earned it.

Kellyanne Conway is walking a Dangerfield line.

“We got no forbearance. We got nothing. We got no respect,” the Trump strategist told CNN’s Anderson Cooper last week, complaining about media coverage of her boss. “This man is president of the United States!”

Conway raises a fair question: Why hasn’t the president-elect been given more respect?

Here’s a fair answer: He hasn’t earned any.

It wouldn’t matter, because people like Milbank, 100% in the pocket of the Democratic Party, wouldn’t give any even if Trump was pushing Progressive issues and policies.

To Trump’s many self-assigned superlatives, he can now add another: the sorest winner. With charity for none and with malice toward all but his supporters, he has in the past two months set a new standard for gracelessness in victory.

What Milbank is upset about is that Trump is doing exactly what Democrats have been doing for decades: attacking. And, Trump is refusing to back down when attacked. Democrats in the media, meaning about 90% of those who work in the news media, expect Republicans to simply sit there and take it, saying nary a word. Which is what Republicans have been doing for decades.

The Republican base has pleaded with Republicans to fight back. No matter whether they are quiet or attack back, they are damned by the news media. So, they might as well attack back. George W. Bush almost never responded, to the point that his administration barely defended their own policies. It got to a point that GOP pundits became tired of attempting to defend what Bush wouldn’t.

Now, Trump is showing the Democrats and their compliant media that he’s willing to play their game, that he’s no patsy who will just sit there and take it with a grin. Trot out John Lewis and proclaim him off limits for things he did almost a half century ago? Trump doesn’t care. There will be no “ultimate moral authority” figures. You get back what you offer.

Get used to that. Trump knows the game, and, like him, hate him, agnostic about him, he won’t be sitting back while Democrats run roughshod.

The losers often have hard feelings after elections. But this much enmity from the winner is extraordinary. Trump, after his election-night promise to “bind the wounds of division” and be a “president for all Americans,” never attempted reconciliation. A day later, he falsely condemned “professional protesters, incited by the media,” and at year end he taunted opponents via Twitter: “Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don’t know what to do. Love!”

The tweet was lame, but, that’s Trump. Funny that Milbank had no complaints over Obama attacking citizens, saying “he won” to Republicans, castigating John McCain after the election, using the IRS to assault Conservative citizen groups, and never attempting to bring the country together. And let’s not forget all the allies and world leaders he insulted and threw under the bus.

If the Sore Losers want Trump to be a good winner, then they shouldn’t start things. As the ancient Tibetan Philosophy states “Don’t start none, won’t be none!

We’ve Been Warned About Cold Winters From ‘Climate Change’!

How can you tell that something is a cult and not a science? When everything bad that happens is the result of people refusing to comply with the edicts of the cult

The politics of harsh winters
In the past, extreme weather and disastrous harvests have proved socially divisive. We have been warned, say climate researchers

In the winter of 1432-33 people in Scotland “had to use fire to melt the wine before drinking it” ran a line in the research about the coldest decade of winters in the last 1,000 years.

Short of real temperature readings, descriptions of such incidents and records of rivers and lakes freezing over for months at a time, tree rings and ice cores are what climate scientists have to use to trace weather extremes of the past.

In the past, this was all natural. Now?

Part of the research is looking at how the cold decade affected society’s attitudes. The famines and subsequent epidemics among the weakened populations were often blamed on minorities, although in some cities, including London, there was a more constructive approach. Communal grain stores were built so as many people could be kept alive as possible – the medieval equivalent of food banks.

With the erratic behaviour of the weather with climate change, the researchers say it is conceivable that Europe could have another run of poor harvests. That would raise food prices, but what are the other possible consequences, and who would get the blame? The researchers say we should prepare for such shocks.

Got that? Because of Mankind and their fossil fuels addiction, we could be looking at poor harvests from carbon pollution cold weather.

Washington State Considers Gun Bans Which, Shockingly, Mostly Affect Law Abiding Citizens

Democrats have lots of talking points for in public. Things like they just want to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. That they want to reduce gun violence. We’ll get things like they believe in the 2nd Amendment, and just want common sense gun control. That they don’t really want to confiscate guns. But, when they aren’t yammering to the general public, we see that they really do want to mostly ban guns from the law abiding citizens, and when they submit legislation, it isn’t about criminals, it’s about banning guns from the hands of non-criminals

(Breitbart) Washington state senator David Frockt (D-Seattle) and representative Strom Peterson (D-Edmonds) are pushing bans that will outlaw many of the most popular semiautomatic rifles and pistols in their state.

The bans are ubiquitously aimed at law-abiding “assault weapon” and “high capacity magazine” owners and also criminalize numerous semiautomatic pistol owners along the way. They do this by making the age old Democrat mistake of banning guns in light of cosmetic features, such a flash hider, a thumb hole stock, a collapsible stock, or a threaded barrel, as if any of these features make a round fly faster and alter the basic operation of the weapon.

By focusing on these things, Frockt and Peterson paint with a wide brush, expanding the “assault weapons” moniker to outlaw a plethora of weapons.

Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson is also involved

For example, Frockt’s bill clearly bans any “semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine” and also has a “threaded barrel.”

Quick question: How many crime scene photos have you seen where a pistol with a threaded barrel was used? My answer: None. But Frockt’s bill goes after law-abiding citizens who possess them any way, as if having a threaded barrel inclines one to crime.

As bad as this all sounds, it could be even worse if passed, because the bill is written in a way that could open it to broad interpretation. Those of you who own a semiautomatic pistol understand that the barrel on the vast majority of them is not just removable, but quickly removable. Therefore, if you have a threaded barrel you could switch it out for a non-threaded barrel in a snap and avoid the ban. However, if Democrats are interpreting the law, it could be that your pistol must be banned because it has the capability of accepting a threaded barrel.

These geniuses even include the word “silencer” (page 6, line 5) in regards to threaded barrels, something that doesn’t exist. The proper term is suppressor.

For “assault rifle”, it would ban any rifle with “A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;” a pretty broad ban. Fortunately, they also ban any rifle with a grenade launcher. Because this is very common, you know.

Magazines over 10 rounds would be banned.

As the NRA notes

The first bill prohibits all possession, purchase, sale or transfer of an “assault weapon” or LCM, except as permitted. (“Transfer” already has a special definition in Washington law, and means any “intended delivery of a firearm to another person without consideration of payment or promise of payment including, but not limited to, gifts and loans.”) The exceptions for other than law enforcement personnel or licensed dealers include persons who legally possess such items when the law takeseffect, and persons who become owners through inheritance or other operation of law, provided these owners can “establish such provenance.” Once grandfathered, owners are themselves prohibited from selling or transferring the item, other than to a licensed dealer or by way of permanent relinquishment to law enforcement. Guns and magazines relinquished to law enforcement “must be destroyed.”

The bill also imposes a storage requirement on grandfathered owners as a condition of continued lawful possession. The “assault weapon” or LCM must be kept in a safe, gun safe, lock box or other device that can be locked and constructed of workmanship and material such “that it cannot be pried open or easily removed or defeated.”

Penalties for non-compliance are heavy, and, surprise, aimed at law abiding citizens, rather than criminals in the streets.

These bills have less to do with “meaningful reforms” for public safety and reducing crime (other than the newly defined crimes of being gun owners) than they do with moving the incremental process of stigmatizing guns and eliminating firearm possession by law-abiding citizens another giant step forward in Washington State.

This is what the gun grabbers do.

Trump Says Plan Provides Insurance For Everybody

What, exactly, does this mean?

(Washington Post) President-elect Donald Trump said in a weekend interview that he is nearing completion of a plan to replace President Obama’s signature health-care law with the goal of “insurance for everybody,” while also vowing to force drug companies to negotiate directly with the government on prices in Medicare and Medicaid.

Trump declined to reveal specifics in the telephone interview late Saturday with The Washington Post, but any proposals from the incoming president would almost certainly dominate the Republican effort to overhaul federal health policy as he prepares to work with his party’s congressional majorities. (snip)

Trump said his plan for replacing most aspects of Obama’s health-care law is all but finished. Although he was coy about its details — “lower numbers, much lower deductibles” — he said he is ready to unveil it alongside Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.” People covered under the law “can expect to have great health care. It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better.” (snip)

“It’s not going to be their plan,” he said of people covered under the current law. “It’ll be another plan. But they’ll be beautifully covered. I don’t want single-payer. What I do want is to be able to take care of people,” he said Saturday.

So, what kind of plan is it? As Caleb Howe notes, Trump said something similar back in September of 2015 in an interview with Scott Pelley, stating that the government is going to pay for it. So, what, exactly, is Trump pushing? He’s said before that he admires single payer. Will this be a government heavy legislative offering? He further talks about using the power of government to negotiate all sorts of things for health care, including medications, along with using the power of the federal government to bully companies.

I guess time will tell, and we’ll see if what many of the NeverTrumpers and those of us fence sitters were saying, namely that Trump is a big government, and perhaps a Big Government, type of guy.

Oh, and the Washington Post also notes

The objectives of broadening access to insurance and lowering health-care costs have always been in conflict, and it remains unclear how the plan that the incoming administration is designing — or ones that will emerge on Capitol Hill — would address that tension.

So, the very foundation of Obamacare was a bunch of mule fritters? That they could expand access and lower costs? Huh.

350.org Wants 500k To Protest Trump

I wonder what the carbon footprint is on this?

(Times Weekly) Meanwhile, 350.org, an advocacy group committed to building a global grassroots (WT: by grassroots, they mean bought and paid for by the usual leftist subjects) climate movement, has pledged to spend January fighting to derail Trump’s anti-environment cabinet picks. The group organized a “national day of action” on January 9, targeting key Senators who say they recognize the threat of climate change, but haven’t yet come out against Trump’s EPA nominee Scott Pruitt and other climate change deniers in the cabinet. 350.org is also delivering petitions to the Trump transition team signed by tens of thousands of Americans opposing Pruitt as well as Exxon’s Rex Tillerson, Trump’s Secretary of State nominee. Come spring, 350.org hopes to turn out 500,000 or more sympathizers at the People’s Climate Mobilization, a march on Washington, DC scheduled for April 29, 2017.

So, kill lots of trees for the petitions, then try and get all those people to take fossil fueled trips to DC to protest the use of fossil fuels. And, of course, while there will surely be just a fraction of the people they want, those in attendance will leave the place a trash pit. Because they love the environment or something.

Another way activists are rallying support for the environment is by ramping up efforts to get universities across the country to divest from fossil fuel investments. The Fossil Fuel Divestment Student Network is organizing student walkouts at college campuses across the country on January 23 “to resist and reject the climate denial” of the incoming Trump administration.

Interestingly, these same people mostly won’t give up their own use of fossil fuels. And, will be shocked I’d divest happens and their school costs skyrocket.
