DACA Recipients Busted For Smuggling Juveniles

This is shocking. We’ve been told that all DACA recipients are super good people who just want to go to college and have a good life. From a Customs And Border Control press release

On October 4, 2017, Border Patrol agents arrested a juvenile attempting to smuggle two illegal aliens. Agents at the Border Patrol Checkpoint on Interstate Highway 35 encountered a passenger vehicle at the primary inspection lane. The driver was questioned regarding his immigration status and was referred for further inspection after a Border Patrol canine alerted to the presence of concealed humans and/or narcotics. After further inspection, Border Patrol agents discovered two adult male subjects concealed in the trunk of the vehicle. An immigration inspection of the two subjects revealed that they were both from the country of Brazil. The driver, a juvenile, was identified as a National from the country of Guatemala and a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in 2016. All subjects were processed for removal proceedings.

The second event took place on October 7, 2017, when Border Patrol agents arrested a juvenile attempting to smuggle one illegal alien. Agents at the Border Patrol Checkpoint on Interstate Highway 35 encountered a passenger vehicle at the primary inspection lane. After further inspection, Border Patrol agents discovered one adult male subject concealed in the trunk of the vehicle. An immigration inspection of the subject revealed that he was from the country of Mexico. driver, a juvenile, was identified as a National from the country of Mexico and a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). All subjects were processed for removal proceedings.

As a result of their arrests, the juvenile drivers were processed for removal proceedings as a violation of the DACA conditions.

Instead of deporting them, we should send them to live with Barack Obama and the other members of his team who thought DACA was a great idea, along with Democrats who support this.

Meanwhile, yet another young girl was raped by an illegal alien, and five gang members who are illegal aliens in the sanctuary state of Maryland are wanted for murder. This is what you enable when you support illegal immigration.

EPA Ending Obama Era Practice Of Sue And Settle

This was one of the more egregious bits of corruption during the Obama years, where the EPA was tightly knit with environmental groups, who used “friendly lawsuits” to force regulatory change

(Washington Times) The Trump administration on Monday took steps to end the highly controversial “sue and settle” practice that led directly to a host of environmental regulations throughout former President Obama’s tenure.

In an agency-wide directive, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt said the process has “harmed the American public” and kept citizens in the dark about exactly how rules and regulations are made.

“The days of regulation through litigation are over,” Mr. Pruitt said in a statement. “We will no longer go behind closed doors and use consent decrees and settlement agreements to resolve lawsuits filed against the agency by special interest groups where doing so would circumvent the regulatory process set forth by Congress. Additionally, gone are the days of routinely paying tens of thousands of dollars in attorney’s fees to these groups with which we swiftly settle.”

Sue and settle, which became commonplace during Mr. Obama’s tenure as his EPA developed tight-knit relationships with top environmental groups, essentially is a way to circumvent the formal rulemaking procedures. Under the practice, sometimes called “friendly lawsuits,” an outside group would sue a department or agency — in this case, the EPA — and ask that certain regulatory steps be taken, or that entirely new regulations be put in place.

Often, the agency would agree to settle the case outside of court, and the settlement agreement would provide a legal loophole for the EPA to simply enact the changes the outside organization sought without having to go through the traditional rule-making process, which requires public comment, draft proposals, and a host of other steps designed to keep the public informed.

The Washington Times goes on to list multiple examples of policies that were enacted due to settle and sue. Larry Bell explained it this way when it was an open secret

“Sue and Settle “ practices, sometimes referred to as “friendly lawsuits”, are cozy deals through which far-left radical environmental groups file lawsuits against federal agencies wherein court-ordered “consent decrees” are issued based upon a prearranged settlement agreement they collaboratively craft together in advance behind closed doors. Then, rather than allowing the entire process to play out, the agency being sued settles the lawsuit by agreeing to move forward with the requested action they and the litigants both want.

In other words, the agency throws the case, somewhat like Bre’r Rabbit agreeing to be thrown into a favorite brier-patch. A big difference however, is that in this case, Farmer McGregor andMr. Rabbit were partners in the scam from the beginning. It’s the unwary American public that actually does get caught in the thorns.

The public receives no public notice beforehand, they just get hit with the bill. And the bill doesn’t just include new policies enacted, but cash payouts to those friendly groups suing.

Now, this practice did go back further, occurring under both Clinton and Bush 43. But, it exploded under Obama, with 88 agreements through mid-2015. The Clean Power Plan came about because of this secretive practice. But, it ends now. Good job, Admin. Pruitt!

The Real Russian Influence: Massive Bribery Scheme Before Obama Admin Approved Uranium Sale

(The Hill) Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.

They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.

This is a long, long article, the kind of investigative journalism that we did not see, for the most part, during the Obama administration. It goes to the sale of the company Uranium one to a Russian company Rosatom, giving Russia a 20% controlling interest in America’s uranium supply. And, under Obama, his FBI refused to bring charges in 2010, instead going on to investigate for another four years. And they still barely did anything.

This is all icing on the cake regarding what Team Obama was doing with Uranium One, and how Hillary, Bill, and their foundation profited heavily from the sale. It shows how Team Obama ignored what the Russians were doing, which had national security implications. But, hey, Russia put some ads on Twitter! Doom!

Meanwhile, the Unhinged Moonbats at Newsweek are still fantasizing about a way to put Hillary in the White House post Trump-Russia investigation.

NASA Report: Dying Forests Are Really Bad For Climate Change

What’s causing the forests to die? Apparently, the very trace gas they need for life

(UK Express) While most scientists say that global warming is a byproduct of human activity, particularly in the industrial age, new research has found trees, which are meant to be saving us from doom, are actually contributing to our downfall.

Trees are known to absorb CO2 and produce oxygen.

However, research from Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, has found little carbon dioxide is being absorbed by Earth’s biggest tropical forests which is causing them to die off.

As the trees in the forests die, they rot and release large amounts of CO2 contributing to global warming.

But as more trees die, more CO2 is produced, leading to the death of more trees in what is a slippery downward spiral for the planet.

Wait, wait, did they just say that CO2 is killing trees? Anyway

One of the main contributing factors to this has been an increase in the strength of El Nino – warm ocean temperatures – over the last few decades. (snip)

“Our analysis shows this extra carbon dioxide explains the difference in atmospheric carbon dioxide growth rates between 2011 and the peak years of 2015-16.

Gun Control From A Racist Point Of View

In Chicago, which has heavy restrictions on gun ownership for law abiding citizens, 8 were killed and 11 were wounded by gunshot. The majority, if not all, were Black. The majority of those involved in gun violence in Chicago are Black. It’s a sad state of affairs that this is occuring, but, then, this is what the Democratic Party has brought about with their policies. Which leads us to this screed by Michael Harriot at The Root, a rather divisive and racial superior website, which also pushes lots of grievances

You know we have to do all the hard shit. We picked all the cotton. We created every iota of American music, dance and culture. We made this country an economic superpower. We fight disproportionately in every war. A black man gave this country universal health care. We invented the modern air conditioner. If it wasn’t for black people, this country would still consist of poor, backward hillbillies ballroom-dancing to Appalachian bluegrass tunes and sweating their asses off while coughing up phlegm.

Except, the air conditioner was invented by Willis Carrier, a white man. And we don’t actually have universal health care. But, hey, let’s not let some facts get in the way of reverse racism and playing of the race card.

Anyhow, Harriot has lots of ideas, like

1. Get lots of black people to buy guns.

I know it seems antithetical, but if black people started purchasing semi-automatic weapons legally and in large numbers, congressional Republicans would pass a gun-owner safety bill faster than white people’s fucking tempo.

This is the way racists think. The people who can only live by the race card think. One of Harriot’s other ideas is to make legal gun ownership for Blacks to be cool, thereby similarly making White’s think guns need big-time control. Same thing with “threatening animals.” All of us who support the 2nd Amendment would, in reality, be like “Great! Welcome to the club!”

We also get “Call gun ownership a form of resistance.” This would supposedly be linked to Colin Kaepernick and Black Lives Matter. Guess what? All the White people who support gun rights still wouldn’t give a damn. And we get “Lie”

Perhaps we could pay Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly to join our cause. Those bastards would do anything for money. They could tell their followers there is a little-known clause in Obamacare that allows people to trade abortions for banana clips. Maybe we could fool those idiots into putting their guns down by playing on their racism and fear of black dicks. We could just mention that there was a recent study that shows gunpowder makes white women prefer black penis, or tell them that every time someone uses the gun-show loophole, a black penis grows an inch.

How is this kind of drivel any different from what scumbags like Richard Spencer push?

Michael “Robust Debate” Mann To Write Book Telling Kids To Throw Tantrums

(Daily Caller) An Australian author and noted climate scientist are asking for donations to publish a children’s book that “explains climate change to kids and empowers them to act” and is also carbon neutral, according to their KickStarter page.

The children’s book, “The Tantrum That Saved The World,” encourages kids to become global warming activists.

Author Megan Herbert and scientist Michael Mann want to publish a children’s book that tells a “story about a little girl who comes face to face with an enormous challenge, feels all kinds of frustration as she tries to overcome it, and then channels those strong emotions into action, rallying all those around her to do the same,” the authors wrote on KickStarter.

In a promotional video, Herbert said that while parents should ordinarily discourage kids from throwing tantrums, “these are not ordinary times.”

“This is the one time we should encourage our kids to make a bit of noise,” Herbert said. “They didn’t create this mess, and they have every right to be upset about it.” She added that those emotions should be channeled into “positive actions.”

What are those positive actions? They do not say. You’ll have to get the book, but, we can pretty much guess that they are the same old Big Government, big fees/taxes, and so forth actions. Spreading awareness while demanding that Other People be forced to comply.

They say that they have the book done. But, they still need final editing and proofing, then scanning, then book design. Which is where Kickstarter comes in. If they do not get enough pledges with money to buy the book, they won’t do it. In other words, give them money for a product that is not ready. Perfect Cult of Climastrology.

That and the tantrums.

Deporting Illegal Aliens Is Persecution Or Something

The Hill has give Cesar Vargas, the first illegal alien admitted to the NY bar, a platform to complain about people not giving illegal aliens a break. You know, people who are unlawfully present in the U.S. And, it’s exactly this kind of stupidity that makes people harden their positions against folks like the so-called Dreamers

We can’t be complicit in persecution of immigrant communities

Yesterday, my mom and I sat at the kitchen table to discuss the White House’s latest demands for an immigration deal.

The administration says it will refuse to protect “Dreamers,” undocumented immigrants who were brought to the country as children, unless it gets a southern border wall, 10,000 new immigration agents, tougher laws on asylum seekers as well as extended families of immigrants and a right to deny federal grants to sanctuary cities.

The bottom line, as far as we could tell, was that the administration is looking to broaden how it targets, arrests and deports immigrants. As she served brown rice and boiled eggs for breakfast, my mother said calmly, “Si los ayuda a ustedes, no me importa lo que me pase a mi.”

It means, “if it helps you, I don’t care what happens to me.”

It speaks to her self-sacrifice: My mother would rather jump into the cross-hairs of an aggressive deportation regime than do anything that might prevent my younger brother and I from becoming citizens.

Her “self sacrifice” was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border with Vargas and several siblings illegally.

What the White House is asking for is the chance to persecute some immigrants in exchange for pledging to protect others. That kind of deal would only fuel a dangerous narrative about the good immigrant versus the bad immigrant, pitting better-educated immigrants against other undocumented individuals — people like my 74-year-old mother, Central American children and day laborers.

Here’s an idea: if Cesar doesn’t like that were are willing to consider some sort of legal status for those illegally brought by their parents when they were kids, well, let’s deport them all! As one wrote in the comments at The Hill “I’m so tired of illegal aliens making demands, I demand they leave my country.” Rather than being humble and contrite, and asking “please”, illegal aliens like Vargas pull a schtick of demands and insults. Do you help people who do this to you? Or do you tell them to go away? These people are not “immigrants”: per federal law, they are illegal aliens, and the law requires that they receive a small fine and be deported.

Americans Are Willing To Pay $117 A Year To Stop ‘Climate Change’ Or Something

Designing a carbon tax requires answering two core policy questions. First, how much money should it raise? And second, how should the money be spent?

As to the first, the CLC proposal starts at $40 a ton and rises $5 a year. As to the second, the revenue goes to dividends, i.e., it is distributed back to citizens on a per-capita basis. (It’s a dividend of roughly $2,000 a year for a family of four, to begin with.) Policies like this are called “tax-and-dividend.”

Is that what the public wants?

It’s funny you should ask. The Yale Program on Climate Change Communication recently completed a large-scale survey of the public on this subject. The results were just published in the journal Environmental Research Letters.

Researchers asked a representative sample of 1,226, American adults questions seeking to determine two things. First, how much are Americans willing to pay per year to fight climate change? And second, what would they prefer government do with the revenue?

It’s the answers to the second question I want to highlight, but let’s look at the first really quickly.

How much are Americans will to pay a year to fight climate change? $177.

That’s interesting, since most Warmists haven’t been willing to pay more than a token few dollars nor make more than token changes in their own lives to become more carbon neutral.

Of course, the problem here is that any sort Doing Something will not be $177 a year, or, as the Journal puts it, “We find an overall mean WTP (willingness to pay) of US$177 per year, with a confidence interval ranging from US$101 to US$587.” It will be considerably more. Some have estimates as low as $1200 a year. Some much more. But, none of those truly factor in the rising costs of everything.

Also, notice that the scheme that is growing is one in which the Government reimburses you money for the pain they have caused, attempting to make you more dependent on Government. Which means they control you.

But, hey, Warmists, show us the way. Pony up and show that your truly believe.
