This should make the supporters of illegal immigration unhappy. Say what you will about Trump’s personal faults, the guy is saying the things that we all know. Transcript via Breitbart, which also has the video
“Our country is currently facing a crisis of illegal immigration on our southern border. Democrat-supported loopholes in our federal laws have enabled roughly half-a-million illegal immigrant family members and minors from Central America to be released into the United States since 2014, at unbelievably tremendous taxpayer expense.
While illegal aliens can only be held for a period of days or weeks, it can take years to move their cases through the legal system to actually try to send them back to their home countries. It is a ridiculous process. For example, of the removal orders issued for unaccompanied alien children over a recent two-year period, 90% were done in absentia, that means they weren’t there and they never showed up for their removal hearing. What else is new?
Catch and release is great, isn’t it?
The United States could not have an open border to every illegal alien family and minor on the face of the earth. We must have rules. We must have laws. And we must enforce those laws. The driving factor in the surge of illegal families and minors is the belief that there will be no consequence for illegal entry and no likelihood of removal or reprisal.
Unfortunately, open border Democrats support the loopholes that prevent families from being detained and removed together. They just want everyone to be released into our country, no matter how dangerous they are. They can be killers. They can be thieves. They can be horrible people. The Democrats say it’s okay for them to be in our country. I don’t think so.
Congress and Congress alone can solve the problem, and the only solution that will work is being able to detain, prosecute, and promptly remove anyone who illegally crosses the border. Remember this, we need Democrat votes. Without the Democrats constantly obstructing, there’s no way you can do it. Without having Democrats voting, there is no way you can get this done. So, the Democrats are obstructing. The Democrats don’t want border security. The Democrats are okay with crime, but we’re not okay with it. We need Democrat votes. Without it, frankly, nothing can be done.â€
No, Democrats do not want to do that. Nor do some of the Republican squishes. We can’t take in every person, regardless of age, who shows up at the border, and many are showing up with children, who sometimes aren’t even theirs, in an attempt to gain sympathy. Not everyone is a refugee seeking asylum. I’m sorry, some of their nations are crummy, but, we can’t be responsible for everyone who decides to bail and head for the U.S. border (wanting shelter, food, clothing, education, welfare, jobs, the U.S. to take care of the kids, all while refusing to learn the language and demanding we change for the illegals).
Everyone has a story. Some of them are true sob stories, other’s are just magnifying it or making it up. In case people forget, there are Americans who need help, too. The responsibility of the federal, state, county, and local governments is to take care of American citizens first.

Rising seas threaten Florida, and there’s little action from Rick Scott or Tallahassee
One out of 10 Florida homes could be subject to almost daily flooding by the end of the century, according to a new report by The Union of Concerned Scientists.
The culprit is rising sea levels resulting from climate change.
The report suggests Florida stands to be affected more than any other state.
Predictions by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration show up to 6.5 feet of sea level rise by 2100.
An increase of that magnitude would cost billions of dollars to the state and local governments in lost property values.
Yet, surprisingly, people keep buying homes at the beach, including climate change big wigs.

That’s a whole lot less than 6.5 feet in the next 82 years, eh? And the rest of the Florida stations are similar. I wonder why the Credentialed Media never offers any actual readings? Key West goes back to 1913, and shows .79 feet per 100 years. Inconvenient.

Crikey! Crocs heading south and other changes forecast for Australia’s wildlife
The chances of limiting climate change appear to be growing slimmer by the day — and this may have big implications for Australia’s wildlife.
Recently a number of crocodiles have been trapped in the Mary River, just 105 kilometres north of Noosa and 250km south of their usual range.
Irukandji jellyfish too, appear to be expanding south, with 10 suspected stings near Fraser Island and a child stung at Mooloolaba last year.
Numerous tropical fish have been recorded up to 1,000 kilometres south of their traditional range, such as the Great Barrier Reef’s lemon-peel angelfish which turned up on Lord Howe Island in 2009, and habitat-modifying sea urchins have landed in Tasmania.
How dare these animals move!!!! And this is all your fault for refusing to ride a bicycle to work and pay more taxes. Because the earth has never ever warmed before!
But there is uncertainty about whether the recent instances of crocodiles in southern waters is climate related or due to increasing numbers.
Crocodile populations have dramatically recovered from the brink of extinction since the 1970s, and the need for new territory may push some individuals to move outside their natural range.
A Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES) spokesperson said they currently “don’t have evidence” to suggest crocodiles are expanding south.
But it’s totally going to happen, people! They know this! Because they have great crystal balls computer models!

Funny how this same media never seemed to consider Barack Obama using all sorts of families in his pushes, such as to take over the health insurance and health care sectors, problematic
Days after yielding to pressure to reverse his policy of separating migrant families at the southern border, President Trump returned Friday to the nativist rhetoric that animated his outsider presidential campaign, casting immigrants as threats to “our citizens.â€
Seeking to counter the intense criticism of his border policies, Trump invited families of Americans killed by undocumented immigrants to tell their stories of being “permanently separated†from loved ones.
“These are the stories that Democrats and people that are weak on immigration, they don’t want to discuss, they don’t want to hear, they don’t want to see, they don’t want to talk about,†Trump said at the White House.
Um, they don’t. Most of the media was reticent to cover the murder of Kate Steinle by an illegal alien, one who had been convicted of multiple crimes previously and had been deported 5 times. The Credentialed Media really tries to stay away from stories where an illegal alien is the perp. Many times, stories ignore information on things like ICE placing a detainer on one. In fact, they often trot out stories that illegals commit less crime than Americans, which missed the fact that people who are not supposed to be in the United States to start with are committing crimes.
In fact, the article spends barely any time discussing what the family members had to say. Most is just about Trump, the separation policy, and getting some sort of immigration bill passed in Congress.
At the White House event Friday, Trump and many of the family members who spoke criticized what they called one-sided media coverage that does not focus on their stories.
“We weren’t lucky enough to be separated for five days or 10 days; we’re separated permanently,†said Laura Wilkerson, whose son Josh was killed in 2010. “Any time we want to see or be close to our kids, we go to the cemetery, because that’s where they are. We could never speak to them, we can’t Skype with them.â€
That’s it. In fact, the families had a lot to say, such as

How many media outlets are covering the case of an illegal alien who just confessed to murdering two women in Miami? More families that lost children to an illegal?
The president blamed Democrats for what he called weak immigration laws and policies that treat those in the country illegally too leniently, even though Republicans control Congress and failed this week to pass an immigration bill out of the House because of opposition from GOP members. Trump railed against the MS-13 gang, heroin from outside the United States, and so-called “catch and release†immigration enforcement.
It almost seems like the Washington Post is attempting to defend heroin and MS-13. Because they’re deranged.

Who’s surprised by the hypocrisy? Anyone? Anyone?
(Western Journalism) Self-defense for me, but not for thee: That seems to be the new message of anti-Second Amendment advocate David Hogg, at least if claims by people who spotted him in New York City recently are correct.
Earlier this week, the spotlight-seeking Parkland student-turned activist was photographed in the Big Apple apparently flanked by bodyguards with military haircuts and Secret Service-style suits.

Hogg’s response to all this was “Love you, too”, and never once refuted the notion that he had armed security. He also recommended reading his book, and that he’s pro-2nd Amendment
Other users pointed out that the hypocrisy is especially deep since it’s in New York City, a place with some of the most strict gun control laws in the nation and where concealed carry permits are nearly impossible to obtain.
It’s almost as if Hogg doesn’t truly trust laws to keep people from illegally carrying guns, despite… well, constantly advocating for more laws to keep people from carrying guns.
“But (David Hogg), I thought armed guards were not an answer to security? Who is Paying for him?†asked GA Patriot on Twitter. “Everytown? George Soros ? What makes you Special or better that anyone else in NYC?â€
It is incredibly difficult for citizens in NY, and especially NYC, to engage in using their 2nd Amendment rights for protection, just like in many other Democratic Party run areas. And most of us cannot afford to have armed security when traveling, unlike people like David Hogg, Alyssa Milano, Michael Bloomberg, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and so many other gun hating celebrities and Democrats.
Hogg’s version of supporting gun ownership: “They’re pathetic f***ers that want to keep killing our children,†he declared about millions of law-abiding members of the National Rifle Association.
And Hogg is 100% against arming teachers and/or school personnel to protect the children. But armed protection for himself? That’s a different story.
Speaking of Bloomberg
Gun control proponent Michael Bloomberg is donating $80 million to Democrat candidates in hopes of flipping the House of Representatives to a pro-gun control position.
Like most, Bloomberg and the gun grabber groups he supports want to enact restrictions on the gun rights of law abiding citizens. They, and their pet elected Democrats (who also have armed security), have proposed virtually nothing that goes after criminals that use firearms.

Climate Change Sparked the Border Migration Crisis
One factor causing migrants to risk everything—even potentially losing their children—to travel through the heat of summer in the dangerous desert and towards the barbed wire fences and tent cities springing up just south of the United States border: climate change.
Many of the migrants being detained here now hail from what’s referred variously as the Dry Corridor or the Northern Triangle, which consists of the three countries immediately south of Mexico: Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.
The agricultural crisis of the Northern Triangle area isn’t something that cropped up overnight, but has been in the making for more than a decade. The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations published a report in June 2016 that described the depth of the food insecurity crisis in the region, leaving 3.5 million people, or nearly 30 percent of the population, food insecure from crop losses estimated to be as high as 90 percent.
See? Who didn’t see this coming, because we all know that plants hate carbon dioxide.

The impacts of climate change do not respect international borders. If they did, it wouldn’t be the case that the countries who have done the least to contribute to global carbon dioxide emissions are expected to suffer disproportionately from their effects.
But as climate refugees begin to flee deteriorating conditions, they are already finding that borders very much apply to them.
Many of the immigrants being detained at the southern U.S. border under President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy are fleeing food scarcity brought on by climate change, The Daily Beast reported Thursday.
Wait, I thought Obama fixed ‘climate change’? Didn’t he say that “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”? Trump certainly hasn’t been in office long enough to create climate doom. Must be an inherited problem
