Building a wall is still not my favorite method for reducing illegal immigration significantly, but it can play its part. And the useful idiots on the left, who don’t want to be told they are for open borders, are protected by a wall at the southern border, just like many of them are protected by walls at their gated communities, like how they are protected by locking their doors
Protesters have planned demonstrations across the U.S. for Presidents Day in response to President Trump’s decision to declare a national emergency for border wall funding.
USA Today reports a wave of protests have been planned from New York to California and Texas to oppose the president’s national emergency declaration.
A number of demonstrations are being planned by the liberal advocacy group, MoveOn.org, and others have been listed on rallylist.com.
“Donald Trump has declared a #FakeNationalEmergency—an illegal power grab from an unhinged man to push his racist, dangerous policies,†MoveOn.org states on its site for protests taking place on Presidents Day.
“We are mobilizing nonviolent rapid-response events to stand up against Trump’s #FakeNationalEmergency to defend our democracy and immigrant, Muslim, black, and brown communities from Trump’s dangerous national emergency power grab,” the group continues.
That’s some nice word salad. Is Moveon admitting that there are Muslim terrorists illegally crossing the border, as reports have stated many times? How about black people? Not a lot of them through Mexico and Latin America. Where are they coming from to illegally cross the border?
As for nonviolent, that usually doesn’t last long with leftist protests. Especially when they are unfocused and plan on yapping about all sorts of things. The one for Raleigh reads Patriotic People Care about our common good and respond to national emergencies! So we will gather and march, and discuss our real emergencies. We may not have a permit. I have written to ask for 1. #TrumpRussia #Treason is an emergency! Also very urgent: climate change, gun violence, poverty, bigotry and attacks on human rights!
I see the same for other marches. Anyhow, these are the kinds of things they will be protesting in favor of

The open borders crowd which wants to protest is backing those things.
Protesters have planned demonstrations across the U.S. for Presidents Day in response to President Trump’s decision to declare a national emergency for border wall funding.
A handful of rural counties in New Mexico are passing resolutions saying they will not require their sheriffs to enforce a sweeping slate of gun-control proposals that have gone before state lawmakers.
As a climate scientist, I have studied the impacts of human emissions of carbon dioxide on the climate system for nearly 20 years. Over this time, my research, as well as research by my colleagues, has made me increasingly worried about the impacts of climate change on human society.
Well, it finally happened: President TrumpÂ
President Trump on Friday declared a national emergency to bypass Congress and spend roughly $8 billion on barriers along the southern border, a big step toward building his long-promised wall that also comes with significant political and legal risk.
In its early stages,
Amid the unceasing awfulness of the Trump administration, I’ve lately found comfort in the Yale political scientist Stephen Skowronek’s concept of “political time,†which has in turn informed my thinking about the almost utopian ambitions of the Green New Deal.
The young progressives pushing the Green New Deal have a similar sense of historic opportunity. Waleed Shahid, communications director for the Justice Democrats — the group that recruited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for Congress — frames the Green New Deal as an overarching vision for political renewal.
