Speaking to leaders of three powerful House committees, who held a joint hearing Wednesday, Internal Revenue Service employees Greg Shapley and Joseph Ziegler ? who was previously known as “whistleblower x” ? alleged U.S. Justice Department officials slow walked the investigation into President Joe Biden’s youngest son.

“It appeared to me, based on what I experienced, that the U.S. attorney in Delaware in our investigation was constantly hamstrung, limited and marginalized by (Justice Department) officials as well as other U.S. attorneys,” Ziegler said.

Throughout the hearing, Ziegler and Shapley drilled into how they felt Hunter Biden was receiving special treatment, and that they were discouraged from pursuing the case to its fullest extent.

During his opening statement, Shapley said aspects of the investigation were delayed until after the 2020 election and then never pursued because of the political optics, including any examination of Joe Biden’s role, if any.

“Prosecutors instructed investigators not to ask about the ‘big guy’ or dad when conducting interviews,” he said.

We all know this happened.

Republican lawmakers, who launched an investigation days after Hunter Biden’s plea deal went public, said the two IRS agent are credible, and that their claims should be taken seriously.

“The White House and Democrats would have Americans believe that our investigation is based on five years of conspiracy theories,” said Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the oversight panel.

“But we have facts and new evidence continues to be uncovered by our committee revealing the first family’s corruption,” he added.

The problem is that most of the Credentialed Media is ignoring this whole thing, so, a lot of people are not being given the information

There’s plenty of information, and they’re happy, again, that most of the media is ignoring the whole issue.

(Daily Caller) Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Accountability Committee repeatedly invoked former President Donald Trump and his aides during a hearing addressing alleged Justice Department misconduct in its investigations of Hunter Biden.

House Republicans called the hearing to hear from Internal Revenue Service whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler, who allege that DOJ political appointees stonewalled their investigation into the president’s son. Several Democrats on the committee, however, repeatedly pivoted to Trump’s alleged political interference at the DOJ. They mentioned his pardoning of former advisers Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Michael Flynn.

“President Biden’s traditional unscrupulous respect for the independence of the Justice Department stands in sharp contrast to Trump’s spectacular disrespect for the rule of law and his serial efforts, both in office and outside office, to get prosecutors to go after and lock up his political rivals and to suspend accountability in specific criminal cases when it comes to his friends,” ranking member Jamie Raskin of Maryland said.

Democrats really wanted little to do with asking the whistleblowers questions, not even to try and destroy their testimony.

    Most Democrats avoided any questions on the substance of the allegations, focusing instead on everything from systemic racism to the use of the term “two-tiered system of justice” and, of course, Donald Trump.

    Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) often goes where wiser members fear to tread.
    On this occasion, Goldman may have delivered one of the most damaging moments for the Democrats.

    In the course of just a few minutes, the junior New York congressman seemed to demolish the defense of President Biden.

    Goldman pressed veteran IRS investigator Gary Shapley about his suggestion that Joe Biden discussed the foreign dealing with his son.

    Shapley eagerly said that he would be happy to explain but Goldman cut him off and says that he did not have time for such explanations.

    At this point, most lawyers would have reversed engines out of troubled waters, but Goldman plowed full speed ahead.

    He said that the references to Joe sitting next to his son do not mean that they actually discussed his business.

    Goldman then went even further and raised a “lunch where Joe Biden came to say hello at the Four Seasons hotel to a lunch that he was having with CEFC executives.”

    He (Goldman) then reads from the record in how Biden associate Rob Walker described the origins of the meeting with the Chinese officials to get his dad to stop by: “Hunter told his Dad that ‘I may be trying to start a company or try to do something with these guys.’ ”

    Goldman then pounced and said slyly “Now let me ask you something, that doesn’t sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter was doing with the CEFC if Hunter Biden is telling him that he is trying to do business with them, does it?”

    That is when Shapley stated the obvious: “No, but it does show that he told his father that he was trying to do business and . . . ”

    Grassley said he released the document, which describes an alleged criminal bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a Ukrainian business executive, so that the American people can “read this document for themselves without the filter of politicians or bureaucrats.”

    BACKGROUND: Initially, the FBI refused to hand over the unclassified FD-1023 stating there is an ongoing investigation using the confidential human source who made allegations outlined in the document. Remember, the allegations and the statement record were created in July of 2020, over three years ago. The FBI refused to say the 6-page unclassified document existed. After House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told FBI Director Chris Wray, he had already seen the unclassified document via a whistleblower, then Wray admitted the FBI indeed had it. On June 1st, the FBI refused to release the document, stating it was captive as part of an “ongoing investigation.” Today, Chuck Grassley released it.

    The lefty trolls are still formulating their responses. Transparency, facts, and truth are their kryptonite. Seems like this is taking them a while. The ‘Great Unwashed’ might actually find out about some of the Brandon Crime Family exploits and that might be interesting to watch.

    The official narrative after the 2016 election was that Trump won because people online said things they were not supposed to say. The official problem was free speech, and that had to go. Only official, approved sources could be the arbiters of reality. This thinking took off in spring 2020 when the entire system coalesced around this idea that only the government and the media could tell us what “the science” is, and then of course that was carried into the 2020 election and the entire Biden presidency. Today, anyone who doesn’t believe in the official narrative, on anything, is either malicious or getting duped by someone malicious. You cannot disagree with the media, the government, the FBI, the CIA, etc. on anything at all.

    Of course, this is tyranny, but as Plato told us, democracy leads to tyranny. The fact is, we have a hostile alien minority in control of our government, who do not believe in reason and objective truth, but rather that truth is the opinion of the powerful. And if truth is the opinion of the powerful, then the powerful have the right to impose truth on us, by force if necessary. We are seeing that today.

    It’s quiet and lefty-ville because they’re all trying to figure out how to blame it on Trump.
    Maybe they can gather together a couple hundred FBI agents an attack a government installation and blame it on Q Anon, Donald Trump and those damn Christians. With the left in America it seems everything revolves around those three things.

    Meanwhile where is hunters laptop and why haven’t we seen stuff from it, who brought in the cocaine into the White House, who killed Jeffrey Epstein where is the book of all the people that visited his island and why haven’t there been any prosecutions, what’s going on with Bankman-Fried or is he another Democrat supporter it’s getting a pass and the lies go on and on and left keeps believing it and the low end leftist with no brains keep repeating it.

      The whistleblowers also told lawmakers Wednesday that Justice Department officials stopped their investigators from scrutinizing President Joe Biden and his grandchildren, after finding evidence potentially linking them to Hunter Biden’s troubled finances.

      “When the subject’s father is somehow related to the finances of the subject, in the normal course of any investigation, we would have to get that information, to properly vet the financial flows of money, and determine what we end up charging,” Shapley said, adding that his team was blocked from running down leads related to the president.

      Ziegler, who is Shapley’s deputy, also told the panel in his written testimony that he wanted to interview Hunter Biden’s adult children after uncovering potentially illegal deductions in Hunter Biden’s tax returns, related to payments to his children.

      Shapley and his deputy told the House Ways and Means Committee in June that Justice Department officials slow-walked the criminal probe into Hunter Biden’s tax issues, stymied their efforts to obtain subpoenas and search warrants and repeatedly blocked prosecutors from filing felony charges.

      The whistleblowers also claimed US Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by Trump and is overseeing the Hunter Biden probe, said in an October 2022 meeting he could not make final charging decisions against the president’s son, and that he was denied special counsel status when he asked for it.

      Republicans have seized on these comments to claim that Garland was not truthful when he told Congress that Weiss had full authority on the investigation. But Garland and Weiss have rejected most, if not all, of the GOP lawmakers’ assertions. Weiss has reiterated in letters to Congress that he always had “ultimate authority” over the investigation.

      The findings will most likely lead to the impeachment of President Biden AND AG Garland.

      So why are you whining?
