Morton’s Steakhouse in DC whining about citizens exercising their 1st Amendment RIGHT to protest government actions: trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner

Does the Constitution guarantee the right to congregate and eat dinner??? LOL. Hey Bret, is that one hidden in the 9th or 14th along with the right to control women?

We’re sorry you were too upset to enjoy your mousse.

The hypocrisy of the American nuRight is a sight to behold. Dobbs will join the ranks of Plessy. And soon.

      • Ultra Magas Brother Bob says:

Why don’t the city officials just talk to the local FBI office if they have a complaint? Patriot Front might as well be carrying massive neon signs saying “Totally not Feds”

        • david7134 says:

Very likely all the marchers are FBI, setting up false crimes.

But what is wrong with white supremacist groups? If they allow all the other supremacist groups an opinion, like BLM, la raza, and all the other racist, then whites can party as well.

      • The Liberal but not libertarian Elwood P. Dowd says:

How dare anyone criticize white nationalists?

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said: “To the white supremacists who ran through downtown today: When we march, we don’t hide our faces. Your hate is as cowardly as it is disgusting, and it goes against all that Boston stands for. … We remember Boston’s legacy as the cradle of liberty, we celebrate the continued fight to expand those liberties for all and ensure that Boston will be a city for everyone.”

Mx Dana will insist he does not support the Patriot Front or what they “stand” for (see below), just their right to march without criticism.

RECLAIM AMERICA: Americans will fully recognize themselves as a people, not merely citizens or residents of a country, but a people bearing a unique national interest rooted in our heritage on this continent. Our people, born to this nation of our European race, must reforge themselves as a new collective capable of asserting our right to cultural independence. The LIFE of this nation, unique among all others, will be defended.

The revival of the American revolutionary spirit will guide the people towards their inalienable right to self determination on the course to fulfill their destiny. America will be unschackled (sic) from tyrannical rule. The corrupt and ineffective State which subverts the national interest to favor a global plutocracy is no longer legitimate to govern, and must face alteration or abolition.

White nationalists such as those of the Patriot Front have the Constitutional right to demonstrate and express their view that America is a white, christian nation and needs to return to those roots that has been overrun by blacks, Hispanics, Muslim, LGBTQs and their liberal helpmates. The Constitution does not immunize the Patriot Front against criticism. But as Mx Teach threatened: there are more whites than blacks in America.

Just as Mx Kavanaugh discovered, Americans also have their right to push back against unpopular movements e.g., white nationalism and pro-birtherism. We get that Mx Kavanaugh would prefer that Americans not have that right, just as Mx Dana is upset that the Patriot Front demonstration was criticized.

        • david7134 says:

          Jeff,
You are the only one upset. Question is why?

        • LOL! The sourpuss from St Louis noted that a Supreme Court Justice was protested at a restaurant, and the restaurant complained that this bothered his other customers as well, and called it “whining,” but when I noted that Boston officials combitched about the Patriot Front marching, peacefully, through downtown Boston, he mocked, “How dare anyone criticize white nationalists?”

Try being consistent, Mr Dowd: either both have a right to peaceably assemble, or neither do.

Mx Dana will insist he does not support the Patriot Front or what they “stand” for (see below), just their right to march without criticism.

Nope! I support their right to peaceably assemble and march; that doesn’t mean that they are somehow immune from criticism. Then again, I have the right to criticize the cretins who protest our Supreme Court Justices trying to peaceably eat their dinner.

    • Jl says:

LOL-you lose a landmark court case and the best you can do is prank a restaurant?

  2. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Does the forced-birther right support states monitoring emails and telephone calls of women suspected of committing pregnancy?

Since 30-50% of pregnancies are lost very early, how will the abortion Stasi decide whom to prosecute? Are the state legislatures putting the laws in place?

    • Colonel Will says:

You are a 100% liberally indoctrinated pussy, non-critically thinking douce bag. Crawl back under your bridge, troll.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        Colonel,

How do you recommend the state monitor the state of pregnancy of women?

Also, douche bag, not douce bag.

It’s reported that Elon Musk is trying to pull out of the $44 billion twitter deal.

Musk has a hard time pulling out as evidenced by his at least 9 children from at least 3 baby mamas. An underling from Tesla and Neuralink says Musk is the father of her twins.

Maybe the nuGOP can get him to run for Prez…

  4. The catholic but not Catholic Elwood P. Dowd says:

    When does life begin?

    When is an election over?

    • Life begins at conception; of that, there is no scientific doubt. If we found a single-celled creature on Mars, the headlines would trumpet that we found extra-terrestrial life!

The pro-abortion forces are left with two arguments, that the life created through conception is either not really human life, or that it is not a legal person. They go through all sorts of twists and turns of illogic to support their positions, but there is no way the unborn child, at every stage of development is not human.

A legal person? Their arguments are pretty much along the lines of Chief Justice Roger Taney’s in Dred Scott v Sandford, a denial of any rights or citizenship to someone not favored.

We have always taught how some primitive cultures were horrible, because they practiced infant sacrifice. It doesn’t seem that we have been much better.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

An ectopic pregnancy is a perfectly intact fertilized egg that if left can kill the woman. Are they of equal importance?

In vitro fertilization involves ovarian stimulation with FSH which produces multiple ova which are collected and fertilized with sperm. The fertilized egg(s) implanted in the woman’s hormonally prepared uterus, and if all works a baby is born 9 months later. The “extra” zygotes are frozen.

What to do with these frozen “babies”? No doubt your solution to these “extra” zygotes would be to ban in vitro fertilization. But that doesn’t resolve the reality that there are thousands of frozen “babies” around the world.

We sympathize with your fervent belief that a fertilized egg is a person, but neither culture nor the law agrees with you.

Some 30 to 50% of “babies” are lost, often not even realized, not long after fertilization occurs. Rather than support research or make an effort to save these “babies” anti-abortionists rationalize that these “babies” were defective and deserved death.

      • The catholic but not Catholic Elwood P. Dowd says:

BTW, both eggs and sperm are alive.

        • CarolAnn says:

But individually not human. A rat is alive but not human you moron.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

            CarolAnn,

What is your reasoning that a fertilized human egg is a person? The law does not recognize that. American culture does not recognize that.

What would be the ramifications of a Constitutional Amendment codifying the minority belief that an American citizen exists from the instance of conception?

The Devil is in the Details, as the saying goes. Every copulation could result in a ‘person’ with rights. Mx Dana here explained that a fertilized egg should have the same rights of a perinatal baby. It’s unfair of you to ignore the practical, human complications associated if your beliefs become law.

In the fallopian tube hardy sperm cells secrete hyaluronidase and penetrate the corona radiata layer that protects the ova. Once there the sperm cells must penetrate the protective zona pellucida (ZP) cell layer. Several sperms break down the ZP but only one lucky sperm undergoes the acrosomal reaction allowing the sperm to enter the egg. This triggers a reaction in the egg blocking the other sperms banging at the gate from entering! Now the egg undergoes meiosis and excretes a ‘polar body’ reducing the chromosome number to 23 (just like the sperm!). The sperm nuclei can now fuse with the egg nucleus. The sperm can carry either the X or Y sex chromosome, the egg only has the X sex chromosome. The cell with the sperm/egg fused nuclei is termed a zygote. All of this happens in the fallopian tube. The fertilized egg continues to divide into a ball of cells that can sometimes implant into the uterine lining which has been prepared by hormone actions to accept the dividing zygote. It is estimated that 30-50% of these dividing zygotes are lost at the implantation stage. That’s millions of lost “babies” in the US alone.

We review this to help us all decide at what point in the process is this a human baby that deserves the rights and protections of a citizen.

Some humans are indeed rats, see Trump, Donald J.

Too funny-you mean like the libs were grooming Michael Avenatti for a possible presidential run? He of multiple felonies, convicted of extortion and wire fraud and serving a 5 year prison term? (21 other charges were dropped in exchange for a guilty plea) . Got it!
