Yes, she’s wearing an all-American bikini, but the symbol of that fossil-fueled car maker is of a German car maker.

INDIANAPOLIS – On Monday, three days after the Supreme Court issued its groundbreaking decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an Indianapolis obstetrician-gynecologist, took a call from a colleague, a child abuse doctor in Ohio.

Hours after the Supreme Court action, Ohio had outlawed any abortion after six weeks. Now, this doctor had a 10-year-old patient in the office who was six weeks and three days pregnant.

Indiana lawmakers are poised to further restrict or ban abortion in mere weeks. The Indiana General Assembly will convene in a special session July 25 when it will discuss restrictions to abortion policy.

But for now, the procedure still is legal in the state. And so the 10-year-old girl was soon on her way to Indiana to Bernard’s care.

So, you forced-birthers like Mx Dana and Mx Teach et al, would you force this little girl to carry her rapist’s spawn to term and become a mom at 11? Should she have been using those “affordable” contraceptives that Mx Teach crows about? Was she another irresponsible jezebel luring innocent men into marriage?

What a fucking mess you right-wing reactionaries are making of America. These virtue signaling laws have actual human consequences.

As many as 0.5 million embryos for in vitro fertilization have been frozen in the US alone. What will you men do with these “babies”?

      Jeff,
I have told you multiple times that you don’t know shit about any aspect of medical care. At the end of the day you are a pharmacist and thus a pill counter. I suspect you are working in that capacity now following your destruction of your corporation.

No matter the law, this little girl would not have delivered a child. Her so called doctor was just shopping for his 15 minutes. I have seen and participated in resolving this type of situation, you have not.

Now, who is the scum bag that did this? In all likelihood a family member and usually a liberal. What do you think Epstein and his buds, Clinton and others, we’re doing on that island? I have also seen our great Hollywood actors doing the same. So quit worrying over the medical issue. As soon as the little girl gets a decent doctor (not a brown one) she will get proper care. Find the liberal scum that did this.

      • The Liberal but not libertarian Elwood P. Dowd says:

        porter david,

You have no idea who assaulted the little girl, but it is very unlikely to be either Epstein or Clinton. Epstein is dead. It’s more difficult to rule out a tRump. OHIO is a red state now, chockablock with nuCon morons.

To the point of the article, the reactionaries in the SCROTUS, and the reactionary wingers in OHIO forced raped 10 year old girl travel out of state to obtain necessary medical care. By the end of July her and her family would have to travel even further after Indianus bans all abortions. Currently you red state fascists are trying to arrange it so that no one could help the family physically or financially. Nice work, assholes.

For reasons you fascists refuse to address, the men responsible for these unwanted pregnancies are not seriously pursued.

The GOP response is to keep working to make it harder for women to vote in 2020! Young female voters are reported to be agitated to vote in 2022. Wonder why that is?

We note that you and your puppy have returned to your white nationalist ways.

          Jeff,
That is some rant, half of it is difficult to understand due to your unreasonable hate for Trump, best president we have.

If you don’t like the law, vote in others or amend the Constitution. Think of all the opportunity you had over the last several decades.

The opinion on Roe is great as it is a win for Federalism. But as to the ass that raped the little girl, I am serious when I say a liberal was involved. As I said, have seen it in Hollywood and we know big name Dems love to abuse young people. But quit complaining about something you can fix, get out there an do it, but you want.

    • Dana says:

The left love to use the extreme example as their argument, but the vast, vast, vast majority of abortions are elective. To save a 10-year-old girl, the left would consign hundreds of thousands of unborn children to death every year.

It is unlikely that a 10-year-old could carry a baby to term, so there would be obvious medical exceptions in her case.

Of course, we’ve all seen that story, but for some odd reason, no one ever asked just how a 10-year-old got pregnant in the first place? Is the sperm donor 12, or is he an adult who should never see the light of day outside of prison walls?

      • The Liberal but not libertarian Elwood P. Dowd says:

The men of Ohio forced a ten year old girl out of the state for medical care based on some bizarre talibanic beliefs.

The law in Ohio had no “obvious medical exception” for this girl.

Why do you feel that the police are not investigating the crime??

A ten year old girl is more important than an embryo. Would you kill a ten year old girl to save 1000 embryos?

Two weeks before the election, the Trump administration innovated a solution. It was Executive Order 13957 that created a new category of federal employment called Schedule F. Any employee involved at any level in policy making would be subject to presidential oversight. It makes sense: these are executive-level agencies so the president, because he bears responsibility for what they do, should have some personnel control over them.

This order was immediately reversed by Biden when he took office, leaving Schedule F a dead letter. The administrative state is once again safe from oversight.

Allies of the White House press secretary are blaming the Biden administration for her failures because they have a white man, John Kirby, standing by, according to a report in Politico.

According to a review of transcripts from Jean-Pierre’s time as press secretary by West Wing Playbook, she has been unable to answer reporters’ questions 20 times as often as her predecessor, Psaki.

Jeanne-Pierre has had several embarrassing moments at the podium where she appears unprepared and incompetent.

With little fanfare and in bipartisan fashion, House appropriators quietly amended the 2023 federal budget for health and science agencies on Thursday to ban any funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which U.S. intelligence fears may have been the origin point for the coronavirus pandemic, and other labs like it.

  6. Professor Hale says:

I personally don’t care about abortion or banning it, but if it will get all the liberals in this state to move back to New York, I’d ban abortions pre-conception.

  7. The Liberal but not libertarian Elwood P. Dowd says:

    Thomas Jefferson on Originalism:

“Some men look at constitutions with sanctimonious reverence, and deem them like the ark of the covenant, too sacred to be touched. They ascribe to the men of the preceding age a wisdom more than human, and suppose what they did to be beyond amendment. I knew that age well (that of the Constitution-makers). I belonged to it, and labored with it. It deserved well of its country. It was very like the present, but without the experience of the present; and forty years of experience in government is worth a century of book-reading; and this they would say themselves, were they to rise from the dead.

I am certainly not an advocate for frequent and untried changes in laws and constitutions. I think moderate imperfections had better be borne with; because, when once known, we accommodate ourselves to them, and find practical means of correcting their ill effects. But I know also, that laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths disclosed, and manners and opinions change with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also, and keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy, as civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors.”
